    On linux, we have LIBRARY_PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variables in order for programs to search for libraries. Do we have similar thing on windows? Particularly Windows 7? Also, I would like to know best practices for DLL use (where to put them, use envs or not, etc.), since I want to work on windows like everyone does, and not to sloth myself on workarounds :)

    Hi Everyone, I have a date_select field in my rails application as follows: <%= f.date_select :dateinstructed %> I would like to re-order the drop down lists show they output as: DD/MM/YYYY According to what I have read you can use the :order option, but I am unsure how to actually use this option: <%= f.date_select :dateinstructed, :order = {:day, :month, :year} %> Obviously this isn't right, but what am I supposed to put in place of the: :day, :month, :year Any help would be appreciated!     We have some directories that are tracked in both CVS and SVN (loooong story). When I change a file in one of these and run meld it diffs it against the SVN version. However for some of the other developers it diffs against CVS. Is there a way to specify which one gets priority? Everyone is using Meld 1.3.0

    Hello everyone, I am having, what i believe is a minor issue. I am developing a J2ME application which predominantly uses canvases for display. The problem is I have set all these canvases to fullscreen and when i navigate from one class to another i am first given a white screen and then taken to the canvas i intend to go. I am not understanding what i am doing wrong I am using the following statement for navigation javax.microedition.lcdui.Display.getDisplay(MIDlet).setCurrent(Canvas); Please help!!

  • CascadingDropDownList not working with anonymous access

    Hi everyone, I use a CascadingDropDownList of the AJAXControlToolkit in a ASP.NET MCMS 2002 web application. The CascadingDropDownList works as expected until "Anonymous access" and "Integrated Windows Authentication" flags are both checked (and this is the situation in the production environment) in the Directory Security settings on the website under IIS. The error I get is: 500 Internal Server Error No web service found at: If I uncheck the anonymous access or the windows authentication everything is ok. Any suggestions?

    Hello everyone, I am using scp command to copy file from a MacBook Pro OS X 10.5 to another Linux box (Red Hat Linux Enterprise 5). I am using the following command on Mac, sudo scp ~/.ssh/mykey.rsa [email protected], there is no output from Mac command line. I am not sure whether the scp is success or not. A client of mine has related to me an idea for an iPhone app that requires OpenGL ES 2.0 for it's inherently complex 3D structure and animations.     Hello everyone I'm trying to use APIKit to scan my codes to detect if there is private API. apiscanner should run as ./apiscanner ~/Desktop/MyPath/myapp.app I used command 'cd' go to the directory where apiscanner is. But if I call ./apiscanner ~/Desktop/MyPath/MyApp.app on terminal it reports Last login: Sun Jun 13 07:22:07 on ttys002 unknown required load command 0x80000022 Trace/BPT trap logout Even if I copy the files apiscanner and doit to MyPath, then execute, I get the same problem. I think there is something wrong when I run apiscanner under Mac OS X. Welcome any comment Thanks

I only have ONE file, a3driver.cpp. The driver imports a class from a location "/user/cse232/Examples/example32.sequence.cpp". That's it, everything else is contained with the .cpp. How would I go about making a simple Makefile that creates an executable called "a3a.exe"?
