  • Position of builtInZoomControls in WebView and MapView

    - by Mathias Lin
I noticed that the position of the builtInZoomControls in WebView (bottom, horizontal right) is not consistent with the default position in the MapView (bottom, horizontal center). 1) Why is that not consistent? (Probably a question to be asked to Google) 2) Is there a way to horizontal center the builtInZoomControls of the WebView without applying custom Zoom controls? Or is that the only way?

  • books or online resources to prepare for .NET interviews for senior developer role

    - by RKP
Hi, can you suggest some good books or online resources (FAQ or articles) to prepare for .NET interviews (.NET concepts, ASP.NET, C# etc) for senior developer role? something to refresh the concepts, not too much detailed. there could be stuff I haven't done before (that applies to everyone), so at least knowing little bit about it, will definitely help. google search shows me some website with lots of QA, but they are not authentic (I found some answers inaccurate). thanks in advance.

  • Access Services and SharePoint 2010 - Need Info

    - by Mayo
I've been asked to research the ability to publish Access solutions directly to SharePoint as demonstrated in the demo below. http://channel9.msdn.com/shows/Access/Microsoft-Access-2010-Demo/ I'm going to keep searching via Google / Bing - but I thought I'd check here to see if anyone has any good links to information on this feature. At first glance it seems like I'm getting alot of brief blog entries with links to the SP2009 conference or to the above video.

    - by Kristof
Hi, I would like to create a simple XMPP client in java that shares his location (XEP-0080) with other clients. I already know I can use the smack library for XMPP and that it supports PEP, which is needed for XEP-0080. Does anyone have an example how to implement this or any pointers, i don't find anything using google. thanks in advance.

  • struts 2 - where should I set global application variables?

    - by Nicola Montecchio
Hi I'm using struts 2 and I'd like to read some custom-defined parameters (global variables), preferably from web.xml or some custom ".properties" file (i.e. not hardcoded in the Java sources). This problem has been driving me mad for the past half hour as I can't google any reasonable solution. What is the best way to do this? I find it strange that it is so difficult ... all the best Nicola Montecchio

  • Where does the tomcat axis file server-config.wsdd come from?

    - by David Sykes
Part of our system provides a web service through apache tomcat, the service is referenced in the server-config.wsdd file. Unfortunately nobody can remember how it got in there. The apache set up has changed, and I need to update the system for the new configuration. What magic keywords can I google for to help me work out how and why it got into the existing server-config.wsdd, and how it might fit into the new server-config.wsdd

  • Public code repository

    - by Andy White
Can anyone recommend a public code repository? A few friends and I are thinking of starting a few projects for iPhone, web, Android, etc., and it would be nice to have a public (internet) code repository to use that would work well on any platform (Mac, PC, Linux). Any type of repository is fine (SVN, CVS, Git, etc.). A few ideas are Sourceforge or Google Code. Any recommendations? Thanks

  • iPhone: CPU power to do DSP/Fourier transform/frequency domain?

    - by mahboudz
I want to analyze MIC audio on an ongoing basis (not just a snipper or prerecorded sample), and display frequency graph and filter out certain aspects of the audio. Is the iPhone powerful enough for that? I suspect the answer is a yes, given the Google and iPhone voice recognition, Shazaam and other music recognition apps, and guitar tuner apps out there. However, I don't know what limitations I'll have to deal with. Anyone play around with this area?

I am trying httpUnit for the first time and just trying to get a response back from google.com. However, I keep getting the following error: com.meterware.httpunit.dom.HTMLDocumentImpl not found Though, I have placed httpUnit.jar in the libraries folder of my NetBeans project and can actually see that class file is there. • Parse tree and grammars information

    - by fuzzylogikk
Do anyone know where to find good online resources with examples how to make grammars and parsetrees? Preferebly introductary materials. Info that is n00b friendly, haven't found anything good with google myself. edit: I'm thinking about theory, not a specific parser software.

  • Python or Ruby for webbased Artificial Intelligence?

    - by Pieter Kubben
A new web application may require adding Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the future, e.g. using ProLog. I know it can be done from a Java environment, but I am wondering about the opportunities with modern web languages like Ruby or Python. The latter is considered to be "more scientific" (at least used in that environment), but using Google there seems to be a preliminary ProLog implementation for both. Any suggestions on modern (open source) web languages (like Python or Ruby) in combination with AI?

I also tried to google the dll if we could download it, but there was no link, whatsoever about the download. I am using VS 2008 sp1 by the way. Thanks in advance.

  • Keywords dictionary

    - by Gusepo
I developed a web site to search a database of videos indexed by keywords. There are several keywords that are repeated like "kid" and "kids" or "children" I'd like that when users search for a keyword they will find also videos with similar keywords and keywords translation (ex. "kid" "kinder"). I was thinking about using an external dictionary, there's Google dictionary but it does not provide APIs. Have you got any idea on how can I do that? Thanks Giuseppe

  • How to implement "tab drop in window" and "tab drop out of window" effect

    - by stanleyxu2005
How to implement "tab drop in window" and "tab drop out of window" effect, just like the google chrome browser? My imagination is that: It is not a single application. The main browser frame is an application, the tabs are several applications without a window frame. When the main browser frame is resized or moved, all tabs will be notified to be resized or moved. Is there any existing component or code example can do this?

  • Alpha-Beta cutoff

    - by Becky
I understand the basics of this search, however the beta cut-off part is confusing me, when beta <= value of alphabeta I can either return beta, break, or continue the loop. return beta doesn't seem to work properly at all, it returns the wrong players move for a different state of the board (further into the search tree) break seems to work correctly, it is very fast but it seems a bit TOO fast continue is a lot slower than break but it seems more correct...I'm guessing this is the right way but pseudocode on google all use 'break' but because this is pseudocode I'm not sure what they mean by 'break'
