• Green Bars in Visual Studio 2010

  I am wondering what these greens things are in Visual Studio 2010. What are they for? They look pretty random but of course they have to have some meaning. Can any one tell me? At first glance they don't mean any thing to me. Picture 1: Picture 2: Edit: They show saved changed content during the document open. Once you close the document they disappear.

  Lets say I open some application or process. Did some work with that. Now I closed it. Need to know whether this application caused any memory leak. i.e used up some heap memory and not cleared it properly. Can I get this statistics some how? I'm using Visual Studio (for development) under Windows OS. Even I would be interested in knowing this information for any 3rd party application.

When a user clicks on any ID column of the record I need to open the pdf in the browser. Are there any free PDF viewer controls out there? Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

  I installed ghostscript and updated the appropriate path variables ... however, I'm getting an error when I try to execute this command: C:\PROGRA~1\gs\gs8.64\lib>pdf2ps mydocument.pdf mydocument.ps Access is denied. Unable to open command line file _.at Is this the right command? did I miss some configuration or path setting? Otherwise, is there a sane method of doing this conversion? Thanks!

  Hi, I've just installed a fresh copy of SQL 2008 Express. before I did anything I opened Management Studio and successfully connected using Window Authentication. However I tried to run the following on the command line "telnet localhost 1433" and got the error "Could not open connection to the host, on port 1433: Connect failed" I checked netstat and there is nothing listening on port 1433. I'm selling the CMS and also including the executables when I deliver the product. I do not edit the source code of the GPL software, just using it.

• force a webview link to launch safari?

  I have a uiwebview embedded within an iPhone app of mine. I want to be able to have certain links within that webview open into the full mobile safari app (i.e. not my embedded version of it).
