    I am interested in Examine for building searching in a standalone desktop app for searching db tables as well as office/.pdf files This looks like an excellent scenario for Lucene/examine However the doc there is minimal and while i have plenty of experience with SQL full text search, Lucene is a different beast altogether and hence looking for help/pointers on how/where to start And yes, i did a google search but did not find any resources as the terms are fairly common ( lucene examine tutorial etc. )

    I'm using JQuery and Prototype in this web application that I'm developing. I'm looking for a way to use Lightbox v2.04 by Lokesh Dhakar to play flash movies. If its not possible using the Lightbox v2.04 then what other ways can I accomplish the shadowing overlayed flash video pop-up with jquery and/or Prototype? The reason I'm set on v2.04 is because I'm using it already as an image gallery. I'm using flv type flash files if that helps.

  • jquery tooltip shows a div's content

    Hello, I want to use either http://onehackoranother.com/projects/jquery/tipsy/ or http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-tooltip/ and I was wondering if lets say I have a div on my page that has a class 'item_info'. Can I have my tooltip that is created output the div inside the tooltip and formatted properly according to my css? Is there another plugin I should be looking into? Thanks.   • Is it possible to call BlazeDS from Java?

    Basically I'm trying to proxy some webservices locally (for reasons I won't go into now) and then have a Java application call it. I'm looking at BlazeDS since it seems to do just this, mostly to avoid the crossDomain.xml file required by Flex to call webservices. However I can't seem to find any reference on how to connect through a Java client (probably using Axis2). Any suggestions, and especially tutorials, would be greatly appreciated.
