I have Text file that contains data separated with a comma ,.
How do I load this to access in the fastest way?
The Text file contains 200,000 rows.
I work with C#.
id like it so when i check out a file no one else can edit it until i check it back in. is there a version control that allows me to do this? i currently use subversion and i know it has the 'lock' feature but i want it to do that automatically without me having to request it on each file im working on.
The following Spotlight query, correctly returns all archive and ISO files on my system:
kind:iso OR kind:archive
However, Spotlight treats .bin files as archives too and returns .bin files in the results as well.
How can I modify the above query and exclude files that end in bin from the result? I tried the following query but it is not working:
(kind:iso OR kind:archive) AND NOT name:*bin
Thanks in advance.
I would like to place the names of the dependencies in a text file that is distributed inside a package that is built with Maven.
I am planning to use the maven assembly plugin to generate the tarball package, and use filtering to put the names in the text file.
The only problem is, I don't know how to reference the dependencies in the first place.
Is there any way to copy a really large file (from one server to another) in Powershell AND display it's progress?
There are solutions out there to use Write-Progress in conjunction with looping to copy many files and display progress. However I can't seem to find anything that would show progress of a single file.
Any thoughts?
I'd like to have my Axis2 Web Service read from a configuration file, whose name is sent as a parameter to the service.
Where is the best place to put this file? And How do best access it? Examples welcome.
I want to put all the data in the resultset into a text file in the same order. Is there any method to get data in all the rows at once and write to a file or have to write it row by row?
I am look for file management features, such as:

file listing
create/rename/delete folder
rename/delete files

I need to create a shortcut file that links to a sharepoint document library and then send that in an email (don't worry about outlook blocking lnk files). I have had a look at how to how to create a standard shortcut file in C# but this fails when you give it a server address (\\\)
Does anyone have an idea on how to do this.
Also would be supper to know how i can convert the link into and SPFile object so that i can also attached it to a list item once i have created it.
I have a folder full of files and i want to search some string inside them. The issue is that some files may be zip, exe, ogg, etc.

Hi,
I want to create a script that checks an URL and perform an action (download + unzip) when the "Last-Modified" header of the remote file changed. I thought about fetching the header with curl but then I have to store it somewhere for each file and perform a date comparison.
Does anyone have a different idea using (mostly) standard unix tools?
thanks

I have this:
app/modules/grid_module.rb
app/modules/grid.html.haml
then in my view:
app/views/layouts/default.html.haml
I want to make a new instance of the grid_module and render it content. Its content is into the grid.html.haml and this file can only use the instance vars set in the grid_module.rb
is this possible to do? (the grid name is just an example, it must be more flexible, to load the html.haml file based on the .rb class)
the grid_module must has access to models too*
like this: User.find_by_id(4)
thanks for help
Hey,
I want to include a file to be accessible to any method/function in a PHP class. The file just contains a base-64 encoded variable. How do I do this?
Thanks.
Say I'm collaborating with someone via a git repository, and there is a particular file that I never want to accept any external changes to.
Is there any way for me to set up my local repo to not complain about a conflicted merge every time I git pull? I'd like to always select my local version when merging this file.
I'm doing a little program and I want to distribute using this recipe:
single directory with _main_.py in it
zip this directory and echo #!/usr/bin/env python\n file.zip
making it executable
The problem is that in this package I have also extra files (I'm using pygtk toolkit and I need images and ui xml files). When I try to access these files I have the error that the resource is unavailable (the path that I'm trying to open is something like file.zip/gui/gui.ui ).
How can I handle this situation?
hi,

}
?>
Now I want to call the member functions of class X using its object via a Java file. How do I do this?
I need to find a certain key in a pdf file. As far as I know the only way to do that is to interpret a pdf as txt file. I want to do this in PHP without installing a addon/framework/etc.
Thanks
Hi,
I have a small flash project. I created a SWF from the flash sources.
Unfortunately all my flash sources related to the project are deleted.
I left with the SWF file. Is there any way that I can retrieve all the flash source files from the swf file ?
Publishing an open-source project, is it enough to add a LICENCE.txt file to the package or do i need to copy and paste it on top of every project's source file?
On public repository like github or google code i saw mixed things and i'm curious on how this legal aspect should be handled correctly.
I am currently facing a situation where i have a table with almost 80 millions data and i have to take a dump of that table and store it into a csv file. Currently i am using a not so professional approach( with a perl script+DBI interface , printing the values to stdout and redirecting to a csv file). Now i am planning to use java threading approach. Can you suggest a way forward. Thanks in advance
