To increase the searchibility of my site in google, I have searched & found out that I can do it by using my robots.txt , but I really don't have any idea how to create it and where can I place my tag like 'asp.net, C#' in my txt file.     Hey guys, I'm looking for a simple solution to place a draggable element inside of a box container. When the user begins to interact with the draggable, the draggable element should remain constrained to a circular shape, within the container. At a complete loss as to how I should accomplish this.   • Groups equivalent for social plugin Facepile

    I need to do something similar to the Facepile social plugin for a site I'm working on. The problem is the client does not have have a Facebook page, but instead has a Facebook Group (with some 4000+ members). I guess I could urge the client to move their group members to a page, and I might do that in the future. But before I do I want to research how we're going to do Facebook-integration more thoroughly. For now I just need a quick fix.

But I want all the results to be indexed by Googlebot and other crawlers, so I was thinking, what if I make a page that lists all the documents, and then tell the robots to visit the page to index all my documents..?     I have a bunch of 200X120 thumbnails and a bunch of high quality images, Apparently when I just resize the thumbnails with img size the quality suffers, so we are loading two images from the server the image thumbnail and the actual, I am just trying to optimize my site for speed a little saw someone mention embedding thumbs in the image, does anyone know a program that does that?     I am trying to enable a new theme on a site running Drupal 6.16. I enable it fine, it has its own namespace in the theme and theme registry. However when you go to the Blocks section, changing a block here will affect that blocks placement in all the other themes, and vice versa. Is this normal behavior? Where should I begin looking to solve this issue?

  • Rewrite only URLs that don't exist

    I'm looking for a way to rewrite URLs only if the path doesn't exist. This isn't to handle 404s, but to redirect page URLs to a shared PHP file (ie: '/contact-us/' - '/show_page.php?page=contact-us'). The basic redirect is easy enough to achieve, however I want to be able to override the default page by adding '/contact-us/index.php' in the site root. Is this achievable with mod_rewrite or would I have to do something else?

    I have already a site with a single homepage index.php which accepts 2 parameters like http://mydomain.com/index.php?param1=something&param2=somethingelse param2 can be optional I want to install wordpress on the root directory, except for index.php and the above url, I want wordpress to show the blog pages. How to do that either in PHP and/or htaccess ? (I'm very bad at htaccess so I prefer php).
