  I am using the awesome Axiom Gnome-Shell theme from Deviantart. The theme works perfectly except for one issue, no items show up in the dash? The actual items are there, e.g. if I type in something I know exists and then press enter it opens the program, there are simply no icons visible. Why is this?   I have multiple domain names assigned to the same site and I want all possible access combinations redirected to one domain.   I have seen many people around complaining about verbosity in programming languages. I find that, within some bounds, the more verbose a programming language is, the better it is to understand. I think that verbosity also reinforces writing clearer APIs for that particular language. The only disadvantage I can think of is that it makes you type more, but I mean, most people use IDEs that do all that work for you. so, What are possible downsides to a verbose programming language?

• wierd keyboard problem

  just installed ubuntu on a acer extensa 5620 laptop. The keyboard works fine except when i want to type things that require me to use ctrl+alt+(any key), i can't use ctrl+alt+(any key) in any program, I can open terminal with ctrl+alt+t tho... and ctrl+(any key) and alt+(any key) seems to work. Also I just installed the game Heroes of Newerth and neither alt or ctrl key seems to work in the game. Any answer would be appreciated!
