Is it possible to make these arrows with CSS and with all browser compatible including IE,6,7,8
or image is the only option?

I've been handed a Byte[] that contains a file. I need to pass this to another method that is expecting two parameters, a char* to the beginning of the file and a char* to the end of the file.
I'm assuming I need to pin the array first so it doesn't get collected. I don't imagine I can then just cast the first and last elements, right?
I use cnPack Uses cleaner, but in general which are the downsides of having useless units?
I know some of them:
1) of course if the unit is never used across the full project there will be useless resource consuption
2) the code insight will give useless results
3) the code insight will be slower
But imagine a simple case:
I have a project with 2 forms, I use StrUtils in one of them but I declared StrUtils in both of them... Is there any downside in temrs of memory consumption in this case or not?
I am writing embedded applications for different hardware (avr, arm7, tms55xx…) and different rtoses (freeRTOS, rtx, dsp/bios). And every second of them needs to communicate with PC or another digital device. Sometimes interactions logic is very advanced. So I'm interesting in common methodology (like state-machine programming style), protocol specification or library, that could simplify developing such things.
Hi,
imagine i have made a co. Then if I remove a folder and create another one with the same name. Then if i try to ci I get:
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Directory '/opt/lampp/htdocs/prueba4/apps/frontend/modules/moto/.svn' containing working copy admin area is missing
laptop@laptop:/opt/lampp/htdocs/prueba4$ sudo svn st
~ apps/frontend/modules/moto
If i tried to add that folder i get:
svn: warning: 'apps/frontend/modules/moto' is already under version control
What should i do?
Regards
Javi
Imagine that we have a query like this:
select a.col1, b.col2
from t1 a
inner join t2 b on a.col1 = b.col2
where a.col1 = 'abc'
Both col1 and col2 don't have any index.
If I add another restriction on the where clause, one that is always correct but with a column with an index:
select a.col1, b.col2
from t1 a
inner join t2 b on a.col1 = b.col2
where a.col1 = 'abc'
and a.id >= 0 -- column always true and with index
May the query perform faster since it may use the index on id column?
Imagine a repository with many kind of files.
Then, I want to get from this repository just some kind of files in a "filter process".
I mean ALL FILES are versioned. But to my local work, I just wanna i.e get *.php files, ignoring download *.jpg instead.
I think about client-site hook script (pre-update).
Anyone know if is it possible?
Thanks!
Hi, I'm trying to parse Email Subject which have encoding specified in format itself. I get the format and imagine how this can be done, but maybe there is any free .Net solution available already so I wouldn't waste time on it?
Here is an example of subject I want to parse:
=?ISO-8859-13?Q?Fwd=3A_Dvira=E8iai_vasar=E0_vagiami_da=FEniau=2C_bet_draust?=
Imagine you have a NB Platform application and you would like to use that application via some other app that you've created.
In essence, how can you learn how to start an application if you don't want to use the NB Platform or IDE. You'd somehow need to figure out the stuff that NB Platform does for you when it loads up a module.
If I'm looking to sell my app in other markets other than the U.S. on both Android and iOS, do I need to do anything inside the app coding-wise? I don't imagine that I need to but I just want to make sure.
Also, while I'm at it, how do I collect on international app purchases considering they are in another currency? Will the currency be automatically converted to U.S. dollars or is that my job?
Any insight on either of these questions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi everyone, I'm trying to find an elegant way in Coffeescript to merge an array of arrays, so that [[1,2,3],[4,5,6],[7,8,9]] == [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9].
As you might imagine, I need this because I'm generating arrays from a function in a "for in" construct and need to concatenate the resulting nested array:
result = (generate_array(x) for x in arr)
Is there an elegant way to handle this? Thanks for any pointers!
Hello,
I have a Parent form with some child forms.
Imagine some of these child forms are opened and their name or their text are shown in a something like tabpage. now when i click on a tab page ,the related form must be active.
What can i do?
Thanks.
Hi there
what would you use if you had to have a div box on your website that would have to be updated constantly with new HTML content from the server.
simple polling is probably not very resource inefficient - imagine also having 10'000 users and the div has to update.
what is the most efficient or elegant solution for such a problem?
are there existing widgets which contain this "autoupdate" functionality?
How can i acces an Array Element in Smarty with a second variable as index?
Imagine i have an array of language
[99] = Array
(
[language] = English
)
I tryed this :
$memberLanguage.id is 99
so logicaly you would acces it this way
{$language.$memberLanguage.id.language} but this doesnt work.
in PHP i would do it this way
$language[$memberLanguage['id']]['language']
How can i access the Array Element Dynamicaly?
Hi,
How can I take a line like this:
Digital Presentation (10:45), (11:30), 12:00, 12:40, 13:20, 14:00, 14:40, 15:20, 16:00, 16:40, 17:20, 18:00, 18:40, 19:20, 20:00, 20:40, 21:20, 22:00, 22:40, 23:10, 23:40.
And match all the 24 hour times so I can convert to a more human readable format using date()?
Also I want to match times in the 24:00-24:59 range too
Thanks!
Are there any libraries knocking around that provide any additional general purpose math functions for Javascript? Say things like sums over a range, derivatives, integrals, etc. I can imagine that many things aren't possible, so even libraries that do rough approximations would be interesting.
Thanks!
What is the easiest way in standard Java Swing to align three components in such a way that:
the dynamic widths of Component1 and Component3 are adjusted to be equal,
while Component2 (which is in between) has constant width?
Imagine we have some resizable JPanel (such as inside a JFrame).
Small width should look like this:
[----------------whole JPanel----------------]
[--Component1--] [Component2] [--Component3--]
Big width should look like this:
[------------------------whole JPanel------------------------]
[------Component1------] [Component2] [------Component3------]
Note: I just "trialed-and-errored" with GroupLayout for too long.
Imagine you have a server which can handle only one client at a time. The server uses WSAAsyncSelect to be notified of new connections. In this case, what is the best way of handling FD_ACCEPT messages:
A Accept the connection attempt right away but queue the client until its turn?
B Do not accept the next connection attempt until we are done serving the currently connected client?
What do you guys think is the most efficient?
I can imagine one case, in which the input parameter could be NULL so that pass-by-pointer is preferred but not pass-by-reference?
Can anybody add more cases?
Hi there
In a given binding is it possible to specify the path on the source object? Seems like this could a void a lot of trivial converters..
Imagine this..:
class foo
{
bool A
int B
}
<ComboBox ItemsSource="ListOfFoos" SelectedItem="{Binding number, SourcePath=B}" />
hi, i have a few programs that check if file exist, and if its old version delete him and paste the new one. However under Windows 7 Professional i can't delete the file some System process is always restoring it (same with the dll files) and as you can imagine a lot of programs are crashing because of that behaviour. So WHAT SERVICE/PROCESS can lock/recreate/restore files? I have disabled System Recovery.
I hear about it a bit in tutorials that I watch, that certain things won't work if javascript is disabled. Occasionally I see workarounds.
The question is, are these relevent? I can't imagine anyone not having a javascript enabled browser nowadays, except the most ancient of phones, and chances are your page won't render on them properly anyway.
Do people still bother to write backup code for javascript being disabled?
Hello,
Let's imagine that I have list of files at host1
find /path/to -name "*.jpg" -print
I want to connect to host2 via SSH and check that all files from this list are present on remote host.
Please help, how can I do this?
Thank you
Imagine I have a class that allocates memory (forget about smart pointers for now):
class Foo
{
public:
Foo() : bar(new Bar)
{
}
~Foo()
{
delete bar;
}
void doSomething()
{
bar->doSomething();
}
private:
Bar* bar;
};
As well as deleting the objects in the destructor is it also worth setting them to NULL?
I'm assuming that setting the pointer to NULL in the destructor of the example above is a waste of time.
In a set of radio buttons of the same group, only one can be selected at the same time. I would like to have the same behaviour with a normal button.
Imagine there's a row of 3 buttons. When a button is selected it changes: but.setSelected(true) and the other two buttons should be NOT selected: but.setSelected(false)
Now, is there a generic, simple and clean solution to accomplish that in Java (Swing) ?
