    - by rockit
Hi android developers! I'm clearly a newb, and I was wondering if anyone knows how I can detect a "ring" event on my cellphone through the android sdk? Generally I want to do something with the phone when it begins ringing! Any thoughts? If you want to simply point me to a page in the api documents that would be a good answer for me, I just don't know how to start my research!

  • Drupal: how to apply plugins to modal lightbox content

    - by Patrick

I'm using some plugins such as an external simpletooltips plugin and the drupal plugin jQuery Media (to load flash video player for some video file-fields). All this stuff stop to work for the content of the lightbox, I guess because the content is not parsed... how can I solve this ? Should I trigger the plugins again ? Thanks

  • Re-load Android activity data

    - by rhinds
Hi, I am writing an Android app, part of which will be a survey involving multiple pages of checkbox question and answers. I have created an activity to display the question and options (from the DB) and what I want to do now is when i press the "Next" button it should just reload the current activity with the next question set from the database. (the activity starts with survey.getNextQuestion() - so its just a case of refreshing the activity so it updates) Im sure this is a simple thing to do -any ideas? Thanks

  • named/bind zone file parser in C#

    - by Michal Rogozinski
Hi, I'm looking for a bind/named zone file parser in .NET C#. If there is anything I could import/convert I would be interested too. Unfortunately there's not much, or I'm having troubles finding it. My goal is to make sure a zone file is syntax-errors-free before I push it to the server. I'd appreciate any help or hints. Thanks

I might be able to get the date through regex, but there are so many custom scripts people are using now that the html classes and structure is so different. Does anyone has a solution that may help?

  • How do I cache query results using LINQ?

    - by Vince
Hi, Is there any way to cache LINQ to SQL queries by looking at the parameters that were previously passed and bypass the database all together? I know L2S caches some database calls, but I'm looking for a permanant solution as in, even if the applciation restarts, that cache reloads and never asks the database again. Are there any frameworks for C#?
