    In Microsoft SQLServer, it is possible to test the result of a stored procedure to know if the result return rows or nothing ? Example : EXEC _sp_MySp 1, 2, 3 IF @@ROWCOUNT = 0 BEGIN PRINT('Empty') END ELSE BEGIN PRINT(@@ROWCOUNT) END But @@ROWCOUNT always return 0 so maybe is there another way of doing this ?

    IIS 7 and Visual Studio 2008, every time you attach to w3wp.exe you get an Attach Security Warning, How do you turn this of?     I am using the Logging Application Block (of Microsoft Enterprise Library 5.0) to log exceptions in the Event Viewer that occur in my WPF XBAP application. However, exceptions are only being logged if the application is run on my machine (the machine it was built on). Any other machine it doesn't log anything. I've tried to find a reason why this might be occurring - I've tried setting requirePermission to false - but to no avail. Anyone any ideas on why this might be happening?

    I'm making a request from an UpdatePanel that takes more then 90 seconds. I'm getting this timeout error. "Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerTimeoutException: The server request timed out." Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the amount of time before the the call times out?

    I'm trying to implement a simple notebook in Qt. Microsoft OneNote allows text or an image from a website to be inserted by Drag&Drop with an attached link to the source that looks like this for the stackoverflow logo on the 'ask' page: Inserted from <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/ask. With the QT dropsite example, I examined all the information thats transported by the QMimeData object, but didn't find something really helpful. Do you know a way to do this in pure Qt or at least with not so much platform-dependant code?

    The DataContractJsonSerializer is not able to serialize Dictionaries properly. Whereas JavaScriptSerializer serializes Dictionaries as {"abc":"xyz","def":42} for example, the DataContractJsonSerializer gives [{"Key":"abc","Value":"xyz"},{"Key":"def","Value":42}] instead. This is really problematic and I want to know how can I serialize Dictionary objects correctly in my WCF service.
