  • Problem simulating HTTP POST using HttpClient

    - by user560904
    I am trying to programatically send a HTTP Post request using HttpClient to http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/en/s/planjourney/query but it is not liking the request I send it. I copied the headers and body from what Chrome browser sends so it is identical but it doesn't like what I send as the HTML mentions there's an error. <div class="padding"> <h1 class="sifr"><strong>Sorry</strong>, something went wrong</h1> <div class="error-message"> <div class="error-message-padding"> <h2>There is a problem with the page you are trying to access.</h2> <p>It is possible that it was either moved, it doesn't exist or we are experiencing some technical difficulties.</p> <p>We are sorry for the inconvenience.</p> </div> </div> </div> Here is my Java program which uses HttpClient: package com.tixsnif; import org.apache.http.*; import org.apache.http.client.HttpClient; import org.apache.http.client.entity.UrlEncodedFormEntity; import org.apache.http.client.methods.HttpPost; import org.apache.http.impl.client.DefaultHttpClient; import org.apache.http.message.BasicNameValuePair; import org.apache.http.protocol.HTTP; import java.io.*; import java.util.*; import java.util.zip.GZIPInputStream; public class WebScrapingTesting { public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception { String target = "http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/en/s/planjourney/query"; HttpClient client = new DefaultHttpClient(); HttpPost httpPost = new HttpPost(target); BasicNameValuePair[] params = { new BasicNameValuePair("jpState", "single"), new BasicNameValuePair("commandName", "journeyPlannerCommand"), new BasicNameValuePair("from.searchTerm", "Basingstoke"), new BasicNameValuePair("to.searchTerm", "Reading"), new BasicNameValuePair("timeOfOutwardJourney.arrivalOrDeparture", "DEPART"), new BasicNameValuePair("timeOfOutwardJourney.monthDay", "Today"), new BasicNameValuePair("timeOfOutwardJourney.hour", "10"), new BasicNameValuePair("timeOfOutwardJourney.minute", "15"), new BasicNameValuePair("timeOfReturnJourney.arrivalOrDeparture", "DEPART"), new BasicNameValuePair("timeOfReturnJourney.monthDay", "Today"), new BasicNameValuePair("timeOfReturnJourney.hour", "18"), new BasicNameValuePair("timeOfReturnJourney.minute", "15"), new BasicNameValuePair("_includeOvertakenTrains", "on"), new BasicNameValuePair("viaMode", "VIA"), new BasicNameValuePair("via.searchTerm", "Station name / code"), new BasicNameValuePair("offSetOption", "0"), new BasicNameValuePair("_reduceTransfers", "on"), new BasicNameValuePair("operatorMode", "SHOW"), new BasicNameValuePair("operator.code", ""), new BasicNameValuePair("_lookForSleeper", "on"), new BasicNameValuePair("_directTrains", "on")}; httpPost.setHeader("Host", "ojp.nationalrail.co.uk"); httpPost.setHeader("User-Agent", "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_4; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/8.0.552.231 Safari/534.10"); httpPost.setHeader("Accept-Encoding", "gzip,deflate,sdch"); httpPost.setHeader("Accept", "text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,**/*//*;q=0.8"); httpPost.setHeader("Accept-Language", "en-us,en;q=0.8"); httpPost.setHeader("Accept-Charset", "ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.7"); httpPost.setHeader("Origin", "http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/"); httpPost.setHeader("Referer", "http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/"); httpPost.setHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"); httpPost.setHeader("Cookie", "JSESSIONID=B2A3419B79C5D999CA4806B459675CCD.app201; Path=/"); UrlEncodedFormEntity urlEncodedFormEntity = new UrlEncodedFormEntity(Arrays.asList(params)); urlEncodedFormEntity.setContentEncoding(HTTP.UTF_8); httpPost.setEntity(urlEncodedFormEntity); HttpResponse response = client.execute(httpPost); InputStream input = response.getEntity().getContent(); GZIPInputStream gzip = new GZIPInputStream(input); InputStreamReader isr = new InputStreamReader(gzip); BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(isr); String line = null; while((line = br.readLine()) != null) { System.out.printf("\n%s", line); } client.getConnectionManager().shutdown(); } } I keep the JSESSION ID updated if it expires but there seems to be another problem that I cannot see. Am I missing something rather obvious? He

  • Extending XHTML

    - by Daniel Schaffer
    I'm playing around with writing a jQuery plugin that uses an attribute to define form validation behavior (yes, I'm aware there's already a validation plugin; this is as much a learning exercise as something I'll be using). Ideally, I'd like to have something like this: Example 1 - input: <input id="name" type="text" v:onvalidate="return this.value.length > 0;" /> Example 2 - wrapper: <div v:onvalidate="return $(this).find('[value]').length > 0;"> <input id="field1" type="text" /> <input id="field2" type="text" /> <input id="field3" type="text" /> </div> Example 3 - predefined: <input id="name" type="text" v:validation="not empty" /> The goal here is to allow my jQuery code to figure out which elements need to be validated (this is already done) and still have the markup be valid XHTML, which is what I'm having a problem with. I'm fairly sure this will require a combination of both DTD and XML Schema, but I'm not really quite sure how exactly to execute. Based on this article, I've created the following DTD: <!ENTITY % XHTML1-formvalidation1 PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1 +FormValidation 1.0//EN" "http://new.dandoes.net/DTD/FormValidation1.dtd" > %XHTML1-formvalidation1; <!ENTITY % Inlspecial.extra "%div.qname; " > <!ENTITY % xhmtl-model.mod SYSTEM "formvalidation-model-1.mod" > <!ENTITY % xhtml11.dtd PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd" > %xhtml11.dtd; And here is "formvalidation-model-1": <!ATTLIST %div.qname; %onvalidation CDATA #IMPLIED %XHTML1-formvalidation1.xmlns.extra.attrib; > I've never done DTD before, so I'm not even really exactly sure what I'm doing. When I run my page through the W3 XHTML validator, I get 80+ errors because it's getting duplicate definitions of all the XHTML elements. Am I at least on the right track? Any suggestions? EDIT: I removed this section from my custom DTD, because it turned out that it was actually self-referencing, and the code I got the template from was really for combining two DTDs into one, not appending specific items to one: <!ENTITY % XHTML1-formvalidation1 PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1 +FormValidation 1.0//EN" "http://new.dandoes.net/DTD/FormValidation1.dtd" > %XHTML1-formvalidation1; I also removed this, because it wasn't validating, and didn't seem to be doing anything: <!ENTITY % Inlspecial.extra "%div.qname; " > Additionally, I decided that since I'm only adding a handful of additional items, the separate files model recommended by W3 doesn't really seem that helpful, so I've put everything into the dtd file, the content of which is now this: <!ATTLIST div onvalidate CDATA #IMPLIED> <!ENTITY % xhtml11.dtd PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd" > %xhtml11.dtd; So now, I'm not getting any DTD-related validation errors, but the onvalidate attribute still is not valid. Update: I've ditched the DTD and added a schema: http://schema.dandoes.net/FormValidation/1.0.xsd Using v:onvalidate appears to validate in Visual Studio, but the W3C service still doesn't like it. Here's a page where I'm using it so you can look at the source: http://new.dandoes.net/auth And here's the link to the w3c validation result: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://new.dandoes.net/auth&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0 Is this about as close as I'll be able to get with this, or am I still doing something wrong?

  • Possible bug in ASP.NET MVC with form values being replaced.

    - by Dan Atkinson
    I appear to be having a problem with ASP.NET MVC in that, if I have more than one form on a page which uses the same name in each one, but as different types (radio/hidden/etc), then, when the first form posts (I choose the 'Date' radio button for instance), if the form is re-rendered (say as part of the results page), I seem to have the issue that the hidden value of the SearchType on the other forms is changed to the last radio button value (in this case, SearchType.Name). Below is an example form for reduction purposes. <% Html.BeginForm("Search", "Search", FormMethod.Post); %> <%= Html.RadioButton("SearchType", SearchType.Date, true) %> <%= Html.RadioButton("SearchType", SearchType.Name) %> <input type="submit" name="submitForm" value="Submit" /> <% Html.EndForm(); %> <% Html.BeginForm("Search", "Search", FormMethod.Post); %> <%= Html.Hidden("SearchType", SearchType.Colour) %> <input type="submit" name="submitForm" value="Submit" /> <% Html.EndForm(); %> <% Html.BeginForm("Search", "Search", FormMethod.Post); %> <%= Html.Hidden("SearchType", SearchType.Reference) %> <input type="submit" name="submitForm" value="Submit" /> <% Html.EndForm(); %> Resulting page source (this would be part of the results page) <form action="/Search/Search" method="post"> <input type="radio" name="SearchType" value="Date" /> <input type="radio" name="SearchType" value="Name" /> <input type="submit" name="submitForm" value="Submit" /> </form> <form action="/Search/Search" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="SearchType" value="Name" /> <!-- Should be Colour --> <input type="submit" name="submitForm" value="Submit" /> </form> <form action="/Search/Search" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="SearchType" value="Name" /> <!-- Should be Reference --> <input type="submit" name="submitForm" value="Submit" /> </form> Please can anyone else with RC1 confirm this? Maybe it's because I'm using an enum. I don't know. I should add that I can circumvent this issue by using 'manual' input () tags for the hidden fields, but if I use MVC tags (<%= Html.Hidden(...) %), .NET MVC replaces them every time. Many thanks. Update: I've seen this bug again today. It seems that this crops its head when you return a posted page and use MVC set hidden form tags with the Html helper. I've contacted Phil Haack about this, because I don't know where else to turn, and I don't believe that this should be expected behaviour as specified by David.

  • jquery $.getJSON only works once in internet explorer Help Please!!!

    - by JasperS
    I have a php function which inserts a searchbar into each page on a website. The site checks to see if the user has javascript enabled and if they do it inserts some jquery ajax stuff to link select boxes (instead of using it's fallback onchange="form.submit()"). $.getJSON works perfectly for me in other browsers except in IE, if I do a full page refresh (ctrl+F5) in IE my ajax works flawlessly until I navigate to a new page (or the same page with $PHP_SELF) either by submiting the form or clicking a link the jquery onchange function fires but then jquery throws an error: Webpage error details Message: Object doesn't support this property or method Line: 123 Char: 183 Code: 0 URI: http://~#UNABLE~TO~DISCLOSE#~/jquery-1.4.2.min.js It seems like jquery function $.getJSON() is gone??? This seems to be some kind of caching issue as it happens on the second page load but I think i've go all the caching prevention in place anyways, here's a snipet of the code that ads the jquery functions: if (isset($_SESSION['NO_SCRIPT']) == true && $_SESSION['NO_SCRIPT'] == false) { $html .= '<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">'; $html .= '$.ajaxSetup({ cache: false });'; $html .= '$.ajaxSetup({"error":function(XMLHttpRequest,textStatus, errorThrown) { alert(textStatus); alert(errorThrown); alert(XMLHttpRequest.responseText); }});'; $html .= '</script>'; $html .= '<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">'; $html .= '$(function(){ $("select#searchtype").change(function() { '; $html .= 'alert("change fired!"); '; $html .= '$.getJSON("ajaxgetcategories.php", {id: $(this).val()}, function(j) { '; $html .= 'alert("ajax returned!"); '; $html .= 'var options = \'\'; '; $html .= 'options += \'<option value="0" >--\' + j[0].all + \'--</option>\'; '; $html .= 'for (var i = 0; i < j.length; i++) { options += \'<option value="\' + j[i].id + \'">\' + j[i].name + \'</option>\'; } '; $html .= '$("select#searchcategory").html(options); }) }) }) '; $html .= '</script> '; $html .= '<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"> '; $html .= '$(function(){ $("select#searchregion").change(function() { '; $html .= 'alert("change fired!"); '; $html .= '$.getJSON("ajaxgetcountries.php", {id: $(this).val()}, function(j) { '; $html .= 'alert("ajax returned!"); '; $html .= 'var options = \'\'; '; $html .= 'options += \'<option value="0" >--\' + j[0].all + \'--</option>\'; '; $html .= 'for (var i = 0; i < j.length; i++) { options += \'<option value="\' + j[i].id + \'">\' + j[i].name + \'</option>\'; } '; $html .= '$("select#searchcountry").html(options); }) }) }) '; $html .= '</script> '; }; return $html; remember, this is part of a php funtion that inserts a script into the html and sorry if it looks a bit messy, I'm new to PHP and Javascript and I'm a bit untidy too :) Please also remember that this works perfectly in IE on the first visit but after any navigation I get the error. Thanks guys

  • ListView items not responding to tap

    - by Justin Williams
    I'm just getting my feet wet with Android and have built a UI that contains a TabHost with three tabs. Each tab is powered by its own Activity. The first Tab contains a listview with a prepopulated set of rows and is built from a custom ArrayAdapter. The problem I'm running into is that none of the ListView rows are tappable. In other words, when I tap on them there is no orange selection. If I use the scroll ball on my Nexus One it will select, but any touch gestures don't seem to be responding. All the UI is being handled using XML files with a main.xml housing the TabHost - LinearLayout - TabWidget/FrameLayout and a nearby_activity.xml file containing my ListView UI <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent"> <TextView android:id="@+id/android:empty" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:text="@string/nearby_no_events" /> <ListView android:id="@android:id/list" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="0dip" android:layout_weight="1.0" android:choiceMode="multipleChoice" android:divider="#d9d9d9" android:dividerHeight="1px" android:cacheColorHint="#eee" /> </LinearLayout> And the relevant code from my Activity that is set to show in the selected tab. public class NearbyActivity extends ListActivity { private ArrayList<Event> m_events = null; private EventAdapter m_adapter = null; public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.nearby_activity); getEvents(); this.m_adapter = new EventAdapter(this, R.layout.eventrow, m_events); setListAdapter(this.m_adapter); } private void getEvents() { m_events = new ArrayList<Event>(); for (int i = 0; i < 100 ; i++) { Event e = new Event(); e.setEventName("Event " + i); e.setVenueName("Staples Center"); e.setStartDate(new Date()); m_events.add(e); } } private class EventAdapter extends ArrayAdapter<Event> { private ArrayList<Event> items; public EventAdapter(Context context, int textViewResourceId, ArrayList<Event> items) { super(context, textViewResourceId, items); this.items = items; } @Override public View getView (int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) { View v = convertView; if (v == null) { LayoutInflater vi = (LayoutInflater)getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE); v = vi.inflate(R.layout.eventrow, null); } Event e = items.get(position); if (e != null) { TextView nameText = (TextView)v.findViewById(R.id.eventName); TextView venueNameText = (TextView)v.findViewById(R.id.venueName); if (nameText != null) { nameText.setText(e.getEventName()); } if(venueNameText != null) { venueNameText.setText(e.getVenueName()); } } return v; } } } My listview row's are populated by an XML file as well. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="?android:attr/listPreferredItemHeight" android:orientation="vertical" android:padding="4dip"> <TextView android:id="@+id/eventName" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_alignParentTop="true" android:inputType="text" android:singleLine="true" android:ellipsize="marquee" android:textSize="18sp" android:textColor="#000" /> <TextView android:id="@+id/venueName" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_below="@id/eventName" android:layout_alignParentBottom="true" android:layout_marginRight="55dip" android:singleLine="true" android:ellipsize="end" android:scrollHorizontally="true" android:textSize="13sp" android:textColor="#313131" android:layout_alignWithParentIfMissing="true" android:gravity="center_vertical" /> </RelativeLayout> Thanks for any help you can offer.

  • Python TEA implementation

    - by Gaks
    Anybody knows proper python implementation of TEA (Tiny Encryption Algorithm)? I tried the one I've found here: http://sysadminco.com/code/python-tea/ - but it does not seem to work properly. It returns different results than other implementations in C or Java. I guess it's caused by completely different data types in python (or no data types in fact). Here's the code and an example: def encipher(v, k): y=v[0];z=v[1];sum=0;delta=0x9E3779B9;n=32 w=[0,0] while(n>0): y += (z << 4 ^ z >> 5) + z ^ sum + k[sum & 3] y &= 4294967295L # maxsize of 32-bit integer sum += delta z += (y << 4 ^ y >> 5) + y ^ sum + k[sum>>11 & 3] z &= 4294967295L n -= 1 w[0]=y; w[1]=z return w def decipher(v, k): y=v[0] z=v[1] sum=0xC6EF3720 delta=0x9E3779B9 n=32 w=[0,0] # sum = delta<<5, in general sum = delta * n while(n>0): z -= (y << 4 ^ y >> 5) + y ^ sum + k[sum>>11 & 3] z &= 4294967295L sum -= delta y -= (z << 4 ^ z >> 5) + z ^ sum + k[sum&3] y &= 4294967295L n -= 1 w[0]=y; w[1]=z return w Python example: >>> import tea >>> key = [0xbe168aa1, 0x16c498a3, 0x5e87b018, 0x56de7805] >>> v = [0xe15034c8, 0x260fd6d5] >>> res = tea.encipher(v, key) >>> "%X %X" % (res[0], res[1]) **'70D16811 F935148F'** C example: #include <unistd.h> #include <stdio.h> void encipher(unsigned long *const v,unsigned long *const w, const unsigned long *const k) { register unsigned long y=v[0],z=v[1],sum=0,delta=0x9E3779B9, a=k[0],b=k[1],c=k[2],d=k[3],n=32; while(n-->0) { sum += delta; y += (z << 4)+a ^ z+sum ^ (z >> 5)+b; z += (y << 4)+c ^ y+sum ^ (y >> 5)+d; } w[0]=y; w[1]=z; } int main() { unsigned long v[] = {0xe15034c8, 0x260fd6d5}; unsigned long key[] = {0xbe168aa1, 0x16c498a3, 0x5e87b018, 0x56de7805}; unsigned long res[2]; encipher(v, res, key); printf("%X %X\n", res[0], res[1]); return 0; } $ ./tea **D6942D68 6F87870D** Please note, that both examples were run with the same input data (v and key), but results were different. I'm pretty sure C implementation is correct - it comes from a site referenced by wikipedia (I couldn't post a link to it because I don't have enough reputation points yet - some antispam thing)

  • iPad: Mobile Safari, HTML5 <video>, and jquery transitions

    - by justinbach
    I'm building a simple proof-of-concept for an iPad-specific website that would use video transitions to bring users from section to section. For purposes of the proof of concept, each "section" is just an image with a semitransparent content text box positioned above it. There are just 2 sections, "home" and "contact", and they've got a transition video sandwiched between them via z-indexing. The idea for the proof of concept is that clicking on the "home" section causes it to disappear, followed by playback of the transition video, which (upon completion) disappears to reveal the "contact" section. Everything is working fine with this version of the demo on the iPad and on Safari for Windows and OS X. Here's the JS: var myVideo = document.getElementsByTagName('video')[0]; $('document').ready(function() { $('#home').click(function() { $(this).css('display','none'); myVideo.play(); myVideo.addEventListener('ended', function() { $('#transition').css('display','none'); }); }); }); What I'd like to do is use a jQuery fadeOut() effect to fade out the text box prior to starting the video when the "home" section is clicked. The code seems simple enough: $('document').ready(function() { $('#home').click(function() { $('#home-copy').fadeOut('slow', function() { $('#home').css('display','none'); myVideo.play(); myVideo.addEventListener('ended', function() { $('#transition').css('display','none'); $('#home-copy').fadeIn('slow'); }); }); }); }); and it's working exactly as desired on desktop versions of Safari. On the iPad, however, the text box fades out as expected and the home section disappears as well, but the video stubbornly refuses to start playing. I really don't know why this would be the case, but that's what's happening. I'd appreciate any advice you might have! Incidentally, here's the markup: <div id="main-container"> <div id="home-copy"> <h1>Lorem Ipsum Dolor Sit Amet</h1> <p>Donec blandit pharetra luctus. Nam at porttitor odio. Nullam sem orci, venenatis sed pharetra eget, commodo rhoncus quam. Ut euismod vehicula bibendum. Curabitur in magna ante, id fringilla lacus. Nullam id elit eget lacus feugiat porta. Nulla vitae orci vehicula risus sagittis egestas quis sed justo.</p> </div> <div id="home"> <img src="images/home.jpg" width="1152" height="720" /> </div> <video id="transition" src="video/home_to_contact_lo_res.mp4" preload width="1152" height="720"></video> <div id="contact"> <img src="images/contact.jpg" width="1152" height="720" /> </div> </div>

  • Pyramind of DIVs

    - by sebastian
    Hi there, I'm trying to build a pyramid that's made of 4 DIVs. The layout looks like this: ------ | #1 | ------ ---------------- | #2 | #3 | #4 | ---------------- Moreover I need 3 additional DIVs starting at the center DIV (#3) and containing either #1, #2 or #3 additionally. These DIVs are used the build a sliding effect with jQueryUI later on. It's supposed to look like #1, #2 and #4 slide out of #3. The margin between the DIVs is supposed to be 2 pixels. I also want the whole block to be centered. Even with display: inline; and position: absolute; enabled on the visible and invisible DIVs I can't get the layout right. I used some negative margins and when it looked ok for the first time I saw that my top DIV was positioned outside of the html body. I suppose there is a more simple and elegant way to achieve what I want. Thanks in advance Sebastian Here's what I've got so far: HTML: <div id="centerbox"> <div id="main">main</div> <div id="rail_top"> <div id="top">top</div> </div> <div id="rail_left"> <div id="left">left</div> </div> <div id="rail_right"> <div id="right">right</div> </div> </div> CSS: #centerbox { height: 602px; width: 904px; margin-top: 640px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; } /* blue */ #main { background-color: #33F; height: 300px; width: 300px; margin: 2px; z-index: 9999; position: absolute; display: inline; margin-left: 302px; } /* green */ #top { background-color: #3F0; height: 300px; width: 300px; z-index: 1; position: absolute; display: inline; } /* pink */ #left { background-color: #F06; height: 300px; width: 300px; z-index: 1; } /* orange */ #right { background-color: #FC0; height: 300px; width: 300px; z-index: 1; margin-left: 302px; } #rail_top { height: 602px; width: 300px; display: inline; position: absolute; margin-top: -300px; margin-left: 302px; } #rail_left { height: 300px; width: 602px; float: left; position: absolute; display: inline; margin-top: 2px; } #rail_right { height: 300px; width: 602px; float: right; position: absolute; display: inline; margin-left: 302px; margin-top: 2px; }

  • Windows Phone 7 Connect to SharePoint via SOAP

    - by Mitchell Skurnik
    I am making my second application for the Windows 7 Phone Series platform and I cannot seem to connect to a SharePoint server using https. 99% of the following is not my code. I have borrowed it from http://blog.daisley-harrison.com/blog/post/Practical-Silverlight-and-SharePoint-Integration-Part-Two.aspx untill I can further understand how SOAP works in W7P Series. I know that I need some way of sending credentials over but the win 7 API does not seem to let you. ServiceReferences.ClientConfig <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <configuration> <system.serviceModel> <bindings> <basicHttpBinding> <binding name="ViewsSoap" maxBufferSize="2147483647" maxReceivedMessageSize="2147483647" transferMode="Buffered"> <security mode="TransportCredentialOnly"/> </binding> </basicHttpBinding> </bindings> <client> <endpoint address="https://my.secureconnection.com/_vti_bin/views.asmx" binding="basicHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="ViewsSoap" contract="SharePointListService.ViewsSoap" name="ViewsSoap" /> </client> </system.serviceModel> </configuration> This is my maincode page: public partial class MainPage : PhoneApplicationPage { public MainPage() { InitializeComponent(); SupportedOrientations = SupportedPageOrientation.Portrait | SupportedPageOrientation.Landscape; try { Uri serviceUri = new Uri("https://my.secureconnection.com" + SERVICE_LISTS_URL); BasicHttpBinding binding; if (serviceUri.Scheme == "https") { binding = new BasicHttpBinding(BasicHttpSecurityMode.Transport); } else { binding = new BasicHttpBinding(BasicHttpSecurityMode.None); } EndpointAddress endpoint = new EndpointAddress(serviceUri); ListsSoapClient listSoapClient = new ListsSoapClient(binding, endpoint); NetworkCredential creds = new NetworkCredential("administrator", "iSynergy1", "server001"); //listSoapClient.ClientCredentials.Windows.AllowedImpersonationLevel = TokenImpersonationLevel.Identification; //listSoapClient.ClientCredentials.Windows.ClientCredential = creds; listSoapClient.GetListCollectionCompleted += new EventHandler<GetListCollectionCompletedEventArgs>(listSoapClient_GetListCollectionCompleted); listSoapClient.GetListCollectionAsync(); } catch (Exception exception) { handleException("Failed to get list collection", exception); } } #region ShowExceptionDetail Property public static readonly DependencyProperty ShowExceptionDetailDependencyProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("ShowExceptionDetail",typeof(bool),typeof(Page),new PropertyMetadata(true)); public bool ShowExceptionDetail { get { return (bool)GetValue(ShowExceptionDetailDependencyProperty); } set { SetValue(ShowExceptionDetailDependencyProperty, value); } } #endregion private void handleException(string context, Exception exception) { this.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(delegate() { bool showExceptionDetail = this.ShowExceptionDetail; string message = ""; Exception next = exception; do { if (message.Length > 0) { message += ";" + Environment.NewLine; } if (next.Message == null || next.Message.Length == 0) { message += next.GetType().FullName; } else { message += next.Message; } if (showExceptionDetail) { if (next.Data.Count > 0) { bool first = true; message += " {"; foreach (string key in next.Data.Keys) { if (first) { first = false; } else { message += ", "; } message += key + "=\"" + next.Data[key] + "\""; } message += "}"; } if (next.InnerException != next) { next = next.InnerException; continue; } } next = null; } while (next != null); MessageBox.Show(message, context, MessageBoxButton.OK); }); } private const string SERVICE_LISTS_URL = "/_vti_bin/lists.asmx"; void listSoapClient_GetListCollectionCompleted(object sender, GetListCollectionCompletedEventArgs e) { try { myList.Text = e.Result.ToString(); } catch (Exception exception) { handleException("Failed to get list collection", exception); } } } When I run this and it gets to the "ListsSoapClient" part, it breaks. If you dig down into the error output it says access is denied. I have tried various methods of sending credentials but none seem to work. "ClientCredentials.Windows" is not supported and ClientCredentials.UsersName.Username is read only.

  • jQuery image crossfader problem

    - by Dr Casper Black
    Hey!, I have a image switcher fadein/out (it will crossfade iamges - auto(1 - x) ) and a pager but i cant manage to make the image rotation listen the click action on pager, when clicked on pager the image will NOT jup tu the specific img. The problem is in the rotate function the triggerID will hold the "rel" num of the current pager-element which is the equivalent to the image "list" num, so when clicked on the pager, the triggerID will show the rel number that was clicked... can i use that to display the image Here is the code for JQ: $(".paging a:first").addClass("active"); //Rotation rotate = function(){ var triggerID = $active.attr("rel"); //Get number of times to images $(".paging a").removeClass('active'); //Remove all active class $active.addClass('active'); //Add active class (the $active is declared in the rotateSwitch function) //CrossFade Animation var $activeImg = $('.image_reel img.active'); if ( $activeImg.length == 0 ) $activeImg = $('.image_reel img:last'); var $next = $activeImg.next().length ? $activeImg.next() : $('.image_reel img:first'); $activeImg.addClass('last-active'); $next.css({opacity: 0.0}) .addClass('active') .animate({opacity: 1.0}, 500, function() { $activeImg.removeClass('active last-active'); }); }; //Rotation and Timing Event rotateSwitch = function(){ play = setInterval(function(){ //Set timer - this will repeat itself every 3 seconds $active = $('.paging a.active').next(); //Move to the next paging if ( $active.length === 0) { //If paging reaches the end... $active = $('.paging a:first'); //go back to first } rotate(); //Trigger the paging and slider function }, 3000); //Timer speed in milliseconds (3 seconds) }; rotateSwitch(); //Run function on launch //On Click $(".paging a").click(function() { $active = $(this); //Activate the clicked paging //Reset Timer clearInterval(play); //Stop the rotation rotate(); //Trigger rotation immediately rotateSwitch(); // Resume rotation timer return false; //Prevent browser jump to link anchor }); The HTML code: <div class="image_reel"> <img src="images/slideshow/img1.jpg" alt="image 1" class="active"> <img src="images/slideshow/img2.jpg" alt="image 2"> <img src="images/slideshow/img3.jpg" alt="image 3"> <img src="images/slideshow/img4.jpg" alt="image 4"> </div> <div class="paging"> <a href="#" rel="1" title="image 1">&nbsp;</a> <a href="#" rel="2" title="image 2">&nbsp;</a> <a href="#" rel="3" title="image 3">&nbsp;</a> <a href="#" rel="4" title="image 4">&nbsp;</a> </div> plz help.

  • Android launches system settings instead of my app

    - by jsundin
    Hi, For some reason whenever I (try to) start my app the phone decides to launch system settings instead of my "main activity". And yes, I am referring to the "Android system settings", and not something from my app. This only happens on my phone, and I suppose it probably could be related to the fact that my app had just opened system settings when I decided to re-launch with a new version from Eclipse. It is possible to start the app from within Eclipse, but when I navigate back from the app it returns to the system settings rather than the home screen, as if the settings activity was started first and then my activity. If I then start the app from the phone all I get is system settings yet again. The app is listening to the VIEW-action for a specific URL substring, and when I start the app using a matching URL I get the same result as when I start it from Eclipse, app starts, but when I return I return to settings. I have tried googling for this problem, and all I could find was something about Android saving state when an app gets killed, but without any information on how to reset this state. I have tried uninstalling the app, killing system settings, rebooting the phone, reinstalling, clearing application data.. no luck.. For what it's worth, here's the definition of my main activity from the manifest, <activity android:name=".HomeActivity" android:label="@string/app_name" android:screenOrientation="portrait" android:clearTaskOnLaunch="true" android:launchMode="singleTop"> <intent-filter> <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" /> <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" /> </intent-filter> <intent-filter> <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW"></action> <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT"></category> <category android:name="android.intent.category.BROWSABLE"></category> <data android:pathPrefix="/isak-web-mobile/smart/" android:scheme="http" android:host="*"></data> </intent-filter> </activity> And here is the logcat-line from when I try to start my app, nothing about any settings anywhere. I/ActivityManager( 1301): Starting activity: Intent { act=android.intent.action.MAIN cat=[android.intent.category.LAUNCHER] flg=0x10200000 cmp=se.opencare.isak/.HomeActivity } When I launch from Eclipse I also get this line (as one would expect), I/ActivityManager( 1301): Start proc se.opencare.isak for activity se.opencare.isak/.HomeActivity: pid=23068 uid=10163 gids={3003, 1007, 1015} If it matters the phone is a HTC Desire Z running 2.2.1. Currently, this is my HomeActivity, public class HomeActivity extends Activity { public static final String TAG = "HomeActivity"; @Override protected void onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent data) { Log.d(TAG, "onActivityResult(" + requestCode + ", " + resultCode + ", " + data + ")"); super.onActivityResult(requestCode, resultCode, data); } @Override protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { Log.d(TAG, "onCreate(" + savedInstanceState + ")"); super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); } @Override protected void onDestroy() { Log.d(TAG, "onDestroy()"); super.onDestroy(); } @Override protected void onPause() { Log.d(TAG, "onPause()"); super.onPause(); } @Override protected void onPostCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { Log.d(TAG, "onPostCreate(" + savedInstanceState + ")"); super.onPostCreate(savedInstanceState); } @Override protected void onPostResume() { Log.d(TAG, "onPostResume()"); super.onPostResume(); } @Override protected void onRestart() { Log.d(TAG, "onRestart()"); super.onRestart(); } @Override protected void onRestoreInstanceState(Bundle savedInstanceState) { Log.d(TAG, "onRestoreInstanceState(" + savedInstanceState + ")"); super.onRestoreInstanceState(savedInstanceState); } @Override protected void onResume() { Log.d(TAG, "onResume()"); super.onResume(); } @Override protected void onStart() { Log.d(TAG, "onStart()"); super.onStart(); } @Override protected void onStop() { Log.d(TAG, "onStop()"); super.onStop(); } @Override protected void onUserLeaveHint() { Log.d(TAG, "onUserLeaveHint()"); super.onUserLeaveHint(); } } Nothing (of the above) is written to the log.

  • Why does virtual assignment behave differently than other virtual functions of the same signature?

    - by David Rodríguez - dribeas
    While playing with implementing a virtual assignment operator I have ended with a funny behavior. It is not a compiler glitch, since g++ 4.1, 4.3 and VS 2005 share the same behavior. Basically, the virtual operator= behaves differently than any other virtual function with respect to the code that is actually being executed. struct Base { virtual Base& f( Base const & ) { std::cout << "Base::f(Base const &)" << std::endl; return *this; } virtual Base& operator=( Base const & ) { std::cout << "Base::operator=(Base const &)" << std::endl; return *this; } }; struct Derived : public Base { virtual Base& f( Base const & ) { std::cout << "Derived::f(Base const &)" << std::endl; return *this; } virtual Base& operator=( Base const & ) { std::cout << "Derived::operator=( Base const & )" << std::endl; return *this; } }; int main() { Derived a, b; a.f( b ); // [0] outputs: Derived::f(Base const &) (expected result) a = b; // [1] outputs: Base::operator=(Base const &) Base & ba = a; Base & bb = b; ba = bb; // [2] outputs: Derived::operator=(Base const &) Derived & da = a; Derived & db = b; da = db; // [3] outputs: Base::operator=(Base const &) ba = da; // [4] outputs: Derived::operator=(Base const &) da = ba; // [5] outputs: Derived::operator=(Base const &) } The effect is that the virtual operator= has a different behavior than any other virtual function with the same signature ([0] compared to [1]), by calling the Base version of the operator when called through real Derived objects ([1]) or Derived references ([3]) while it does perform as a regular virtual function when called through Base references ([2]), or when either the lvalue or rvalue are Base references and the other a Derived reference ([4],[5]). Is there any sensible explanation to this odd behavior?

  • Java List to Excel Columns

    - by Nitin
    Correct me where I'm going wrong. I'm have written a program in Java which will get list of files from two different directories and make two (Java list) with the file names. I want to transfer the both the list (downloaded files list and Uploaded files list) to an excel. What the result i'm getting is those list are transferred row wise. I want them in column wise. Given below is the code: public class F { static List<String> downloadList = new ArrayList<>(); static List<String> dispatchList = new ArrayList<>(); public static class FileVisitor extends SimpleFileVisitor<Path> { @Override public FileVisitResult visitFile(Path file, BasicFileAttributes attrs) throws IOException { String name = file.toRealPath().getFileName().toString(); if (name.endsWith(".pdf") || name.endsWith(".zip")) { downloadList.add(name); } if (name.endsWith(".xml")) { dispatchList.add(name); } return FileVisitResult.CONTINUE; } } public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException { try { Path downloadPath = Paths.get("E:\\report\\02_Download\\10252013"); Path dispatchPath = Paths.get("E:\\report\\01_Dispatch\\10252013"); FileVisitor visitor = new FileVisitor(); Files.walkFileTree(downloadPath, visitor); Files.walkFileTree(downloadPath, EnumSet.of(FileVisitOption.FOLLOW_LINKS), 1, visitor); Files.walkFileTree(dispatchPath, visitor); Files.walkFileTree(dispatchPath, EnumSet.of(FileVisitOption.FOLLOW_LINKS), 1, visitor); System.out.println("Download File List" + downloadList); System.out.println("Dispatch File List" + dispatchList); F f = new F(); f.UpDown(downloadList, dispatchList); } catch (Exception ex) { Logger.getLogger(F.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex); } } int rownum = 0; int colnum = 0; HSSFSheet firstSheet; Collection<File> files; HSSFWorkbook workbook; File exactFile; { workbook = new HSSFWorkbook(); firstSheet = workbook.createSheet("10252013"); Row headerRow = firstSheet.createRow(rownum); headerRow.setHeightInPoints(40); } public void UpDown(List<String> download, List<String> upload) throws Exception { List<String> headerRow = new ArrayList<>(); headerRow.add("Downloaded"); headerRow.add("Uploaded"); List<List> recordToAdd = new ArrayList<>(); recordToAdd.add(headerRow); recordToAdd.add(download); recordToAdd.add(upload); F f = new F(); f.CreateExcelFile(recordToAdd); f.createExcelFile(); } void createExcelFile() { FileOutputStream fos = null; try { fos = new FileOutputStream(new File("E:\\report\\Download&Upload.xls")); HSSFCellStyle hsfstyle = workbook.createCellStyle(); hsfstyle.setBorderBottom((short) 1); hsfstyle.setFillBackgroundColor((short) 245); workbook.write(fos); } catch (Exception e) { } } public void CreateExcelFile(List<List> l1) throws Exception { try { for (int j = 0; j < l1.size(); j++) { Row row = firstSheet.createRow(rownum); List<String> l2 = l1.get(j); for (int k = 0; k < l2.size(); k++) { Cell cell = row.createCell(k); cell.setCellValue(l2.get(k)); } rownum++; } } catch (Exception e) { } finally { } } } (The purpose is to verify the files Downloaded and Uploaded for the given date) Thanks.

  • GoogleTv video using VideoView is clipped, even though its in a separate layout of its own

    - by MYR
    Wrote an application for GoogleTV box to play a video. The video is a separate activity to the main activity. Wired up a button on my main layout/activity to to start the video activity up (using its own video.xml layout), the video activity loads and starts playing, but the video is clipped, only showing a few centimetres of the bottom. The clipped region looks like the views that occupied the previous layout (main.xml) . The intriguing thing is that if I push the back button, before returning to the main activity the full video frame is shown. Not sure what I am doing wrong here. Any suggestions welcome. • Coldfusion "Routines cannot be declared more than once"

    - by Nicholas
    We have the following code in our Application.cfc: <cffunction name="onError" returnType="void" output="false"> <cfargument name="exception" required="true"> <cfargument name="eventname" type="string" required="true"> <cfset cfcatch = exception> <cfinclude template="standalone/errors/error.cfm"> </cffunction> Within the error.cfm page we have this code (I didn't write it): <cfscript> function GetCurrentURL() { var theURL = "http"; if (cgi.https EQ "on" ) theURL = "#TheURL#s"; theURL = theURL & "://#cgi.server_name#"; if(cgi.server_port neq 80) theURL = theURL & ":#cgi.server_port#"; theURL = theURL & "#cgi.path_info#"; if(len(cgi.query_string)) theURL = theURL & "?#cgi.query_string#"; return theURL; } </cfscript> This is all part of a script that puts together bunches of details about the error and records it to the database. When an error occurs, we receive the message "The routine GetCurrentURL has been declared twice in different templates." However, I have searched the entire codebase in several different ways and found "GetCurrentURL" used only twice, both times in error.cfm. The first time is the declaration, and the second is actual use. So I'm not sure why CF is saying "in different templates". My next thought was that the problem is a recursive call, and that error.cfm is erroring and calling itself, so I attempted these two changes, either of which should have resolved the issue and unmasked the real error: <cfif StructKeyExists(variables,"GetCurrentURL") IS "NO"> <cfscript> function GetCurrentURL() { var theURL = "http"; if (cgi.https EQ "on" ) theURL = "#TheURL#s"; theURL = theURL & "://#cgi.server_name#"; if(cgi.server_port neq 80) theURL = theURL & ":#cgi.server_port#"; theURL = theURL & "#cgi.path_info#"; if(len(cgi.query_string)) theURL = theURL & "?#cgi.query_string#"; return theURL; } </cfscript> </cfif> And: <cfscript> if (!StructKeyExists(variables,"GetCurrentURL")) { function GetCurrentURL() { var theURL = "http"; if (cgi.https EQ "on" ) theURL = "#TheURL#s"; theURL = theURL & "://#cgi.server_name#"; if(cgi.server_port neq 80) theURL = theURL & ":#cgi.server_port#"; theURL = theURL & "#cgi.path_info#"; if(len(cgi.query_string)) theURL = theURL & "?#cgi.query_string#"; return theURL; } } </cfscript> Neither worked. I also tried adding this to the page just before the function call: <cfoutput>"#StructKeyExists(variables,"GetCurrentURL")#"</cfoutput> It caused the word "YES" to be printed on screen. This indicates that the above should work, as clearly the contents of the if statement will evaluate to "YES", and thus the if statement will evaluate to false, and thus the function will not be declared, and thus I will retain my sanity. But for some reason this problem persists. Any thoughts on what might be occuring or how to troubleshoot next? I'm stuck at this point.

  • How can I display the clicked products by user on a list in another view?

    - by Avar
    I am using MVC3 Viewmodel pattern with Entity Framework on my webbapplication. My Index View is list of products with image, price and description and etc. Products with the information I mentioned above is in div boxes with a button that says "buy". I will be working with 2 views one that is the Index View that will display all the products and the other view that will display the products that got clicked by the buy button. What I am trying to achieve is when a user click on buy button the products should get stored in the other view that is cart view and be displayed. I have problems on how to begin the coding for that part. The index View with products is done and now its the buy button function left to do but I have no idea how to start. This is my IndexController: private readonly HomeRepository repository = new HomeRepository(); public ActionResult Index() { var Productlist = repository.GetAllProducts(); var model = new HomeIndexViewModel() { Productlist = new List<ProductsViewModel>() }; foreach (var Product in Productlist) { FillProductToModel(model, Product); } return View(model); } private void FillProductToModel(HomeIndexViewModel model, ProductImages productimage) { var productViewModel = new ProductsViewModel { Description = productimage.Products.Description, ProductId = productimage.Products.Id, price = productimage.Products.Price, Name = productimage.Products.Name, Image = productimage.ImageUrl, }; model.Productlist.Add(productViewModel); } In my ActionResult Index I am using my repository to get the products and then I am binding the data from the products to my ViewModel so I can use the ViewModel inside my view. Thats how I am displaying all the products in my View. This is my Index View: @model Avan.ViewModels.HomeIndexViewModel @foreach (var item in Model.Productlist) { <div id="productholder@(item.ProductId)" class="productholder"> <img src="@Html.DisplayFor(modelItem => item.Image)" alt="" /> <div class="productinfo"> <h2>@Html.DisplayFor(modelItem => item.Name)</h2> <p>@Html.DisplayFor(modelItem => item.Description)</p> @Html.Hidden("ProductId", item.ProductId, new { @id = "ProductId" }) </div> <div class="productprice"> <h2>@Html.DisplayFor(modelItem => item.price)</h2> <input type="button" value="Läs mer" class="button" id="button@(item.ProductId)"> @Html.ActionLink("x", "Cart", new { id = item.ProductId }) // <- temp its going to be a button </div> </div> } Since I can get the product ID per product I can use the ID in my controller to get the data from the database. But I still I have no idea how I can do that so when somebody click on the buy button I store the ID where? and how do I use it so I can achieve what I want to do? Right now I have been trying to do following thing in my IndexController: public ActionResult cart(int id) { var SelectedProducts = repository.GetProductByID(id); return View(); } What I did here is that I get the product by the id. So when someone press on the temp "x" Actionlink I will recieve the product. All I know is that something like that is needed to achieve what im trying to do but after that I have no idea what to do and in what kind of structure I should do it. Any kind of help is appreciated alot! Short Scenario: looking at the Index I see 5 products, I choose to buy 3 products so I click on three "Buy" buttons. Now I click on the "Cart" that is located on the nav menu. New View pops up and I see the three products that I clicked to buy.

  • How to convert an ORM to its subclass using Hibernate ?

    - by Gaaston
    Hi everybody, For example, I have two classes : Person and Employee (Employee is a subclass of Person). Person : has a lastname and a firstname. Employee : has also a salary. On the client-side, I have a single HTML form where i can fill the person informations (like lastname and firstname). I also have a "switch" between "Person" and "Employee", and if the switch is on Employee I can fill the salary field. On the server-side, Servlets receive informations from the client and use the Hibernate framework to create/update data to/from the database. The mapping i'm using is a single table for persons and employee, with a discriminator. I don't know how to convert a Person in an Employee. I firstly tried to : load the Person p from the database create an empty Employee e object copy values from p into e set the salary value save e into the database But i couldn't, as I also copy the ID, and so Hibernate told me they where two instanciated ORM with the same id. And I can't cast a Person into an Employee directly, as Person is Employee's superclass. There seems to be a dirty way : delete the person, and create an employee with the same informations, but I don't really like it.. So I'd appreciate any help on that :) Some precisions : The person class : public class Person { protected int id; protected String firstName; protected String lastName; // usual getters and setters } The employee class : public class Employee extends Person { // string for now protected String salary; // usual getters and setters } And in the servlet : // type is the "switch" if(request.getParameter("type").equals("Employee")) { Employee employee = daoPerson.getEmployee(Integer.valueOf(request.getParameter("ID"))); modifyPerson(employee, request); employee.setSalary(request.getParameter("salary")); daoPerson.save(employee ); } else { Person person = daoPerson.getPerson(Integer.valueOf(request.getParameter("ID"))); modifyPerson(employee, request); daoPerson.save(person); } And finally, the loading (in the dao) : public Contact getPerson(int ID){ Session session = HibernateSessionFactory.getSession(); Person p = (Person) session.load(Person.class, new Integer(ID)); return p; } public Contact getEmployee(int ID){ Session session = HibernateSessionFactory.getSession(); Employee = (Employee) session.load(Employee.class, new Integer(ID)); return p; } With this, i'm getting a ClassCastException when trying to load a Person using getEmployee. XML Hibernate mapping : <class name="domain.Person" table="PERSON" discriminator-value="P"> <id name="id" type="int"> <column name="ID" /> <generator class="native" /> </id> <discriminator column="type" type="character"/> <property name="firstName" type="java.lang.String"> <column name="FIRSTNAME" /> </property> <property name="lastName" type="java.lang.String"> <column name="LASTNAME" /> </property> <subclass name="domain.Employee" discriminator-value="E"> <property name="salary" column="SALARY" type="java.lang.String" /> </subclass> </class> Is it clear enough ? :-/

  • Play Video File in Asp. Net 3.5 in IIS

    - by Sneha Joshi
    I have developed an application to upload a video on the server and then play it. It runs well when i execute it in Visual Studio 2008 in-built web server.. But when I configure it on IIS, the video does not play... Is there any settings needed in IIS to play video ?? The code of Button Click event - **protected void btnPlayVideo_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { try { string himaSagarURL = this.lnkbtnVideo.Text; bool isFullSize = false; this.Literal1.Text = this.Play_Video(himaSagarURL, isFullSize); } catch (Exception ex) { this.Response.Write(ex.ToString()); } } This button click event calls the Play_Video method which is given below.. The code I used for embedding - private string Play_Video(string sagarURL, bool isFullSize) { string himaSagarObject = ""; sagarURL = sagarURL + ""; sagarURL = sagarURL.Trim(); if (sagarURL.Length > 0) { //Continue. } else { throw new System.ArgumentNullException("sagarURL"); } string himaSagarWidthAndHeight = ""; if (isFullSize) { himaSagarWidthAndHeight = ""; } else { himaSagarWidthAndHeight = "width='640' height='480'"; } himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<object classid='CLSID:22D6F312-B0F6-11D0-94AB-0080C74C7E95' id='player' " + himaSagarWidthAndHeight + " standby='Please wait while the object is loaded...'>"; himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='url' value='" + sagarURL + "' />"; himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='src' value='" + sagarURL + "' />"; himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='AutoStart' value='true' />"; himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='Balance' value='0' />"; //-100 is fully left, 100 is fully right. himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='CurrentPosition' value='0' />"; //Position in seconds when starting. himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='showcontrols' value='true' />"; //Show play/stop/pause controls. himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='enablecontextmenu' value='true' />"; //Allow right-click. himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='fullscreen' value='" + isFullSize.ToString() + "' />"; //Start in full screen or not. himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='mute' value='false' />"; himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='PlayCount' value='1' />"; //Number of times the content will play. himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='rate' value='1.0' />"; //0.5=Slow, 1.0=Normal, 2.0=Fast himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='uimode' value='full' />"; // full, mini, custom, none, invisible himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='showdisplay' value='true' />"; //Show or hide the name of the file. himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "<param name='volume' value='50' />"; // 0=lowest, 100=highest himaSagarObject = himaSagarObject + "</object>"; return himaSagarObject; }**

  • Convert Java program to C

    - by imicrothinking
    I need a bit of guidance with writing a C program...a bit of quick background as to my level, I've programmed in Java previously, but this is my first time programming in C, and we've been tasked to translate a word count program from Java to C that consists of the following: Read a file from memory Count the words in the file For each occurrence of a unique word, keep a word counter variable Print out the top ten most frequent words and their corresponding occurrences Here's the source program in Java: package lab0; import java.io.File; import java.io.FileReader; import java.util.ArrayList; import java.util.Calendar; import java.util.Collections; public class WordCount { private ArrayList<WordCountNode> outputlist = null; public WordCount(){ this.outputlist = new ArrayList<WordCountNode>(); } /** * Read the file into memory. * * @param filename name of the file. * @return content of the file. * @throws Exception if the file is too large or other file related exception. */ public char[] readFile(String filename) throws Exception{ char [] result = null; File file = new File(filename); long size = file.length(); if (size > Integer.MAX_VALUE){ throw new Exception("File is too large"); } result = new char[(int)size]; FileReader reader = new FileReader(file); int len, offset = 0, size2read = (int)size; while(size2read > 0){ len = reader.read(result, offset, size2read); if(len == -1) break; size2read -= len; offset += len; } return result; } /** * Make article word by word. * * @param article the content of file to be counted. * @return string contains only letters and "'". */ private enum SPLIT_STATE {IN_WORD, NOT_IN_WORD}; } // Perform housekeeping tasks like freeing up memory and closing file I'm really stuck on the selection sort algorithm. I'm currently using 2D arrays to represent strings, and that worked out fine, but when it came to sorting, using three level nested loops didn't seem to work, I tried to use qsort instead, but I don't fully understand that function as well. Constructive feedback and criticism greatly welcome (...and needed)!

  • client-side validation in custom validation attribute - asp.net mvc 4

    - by Giorgos Manoltzas
    I have followed some articles and tutorials over the internet in order to create a custom validation attribute that also supports client-side validation in an asp.net mvc 4 website. This is what i have until now: RequiredIfAttribute.cs [AttributeUsage(AttributeTargets.Property, AllowMultiple = true)] //Added public class RequiredIfAttribute : ValidationAttribute, IClientValidatable { private readonly string condition; private string propertyName; //Added public RequiredIfAttribute(string condition) { this.condition = condition; this.propertyName = propertyName; //Added } protected override ValidationResult IsValid(object value, ValidationContext validationContext) { PropertyInfo propertyInfo = validationContext.ObjectType.GetProperty(this.propertyName); //Added Delegate conditionFunction = CreateExpression(validationContext.ObjectType, _condition); bool conditionMet = (bool)conditionFunction.DynamicInvoke(validationContext.ObjectInstance); if (conditionMet) { if (value == null) { return new ValidationResult(FormatErrorMessage(null)); } } return ValidationResult.Success; } private Delegate CreateExpression(Type objectType, string expression) { LambdaExpression lambdaExpression = System.Linq.Dynamic.DynamicExpression.ParseLambda(objectType, typeof(bool), expression); //Added Delegate function = lambdaExpression.Compile(); return function; } public IEnumerable<ModelClientValidationRule> GetClientValidationRules(ModelMetadata metadata, ControllerContext context) { var modelClientValidationRule = new ModelClientValidationRule { ValidationType = "requiredif", ErrorMessage = ErrorMessage //Added }; modelClientValidationRule.ValidationParameters.Add("param", this.propertyName); //Added return new List<ModelClientValidationRule> { modelClientValidationRule }; } } Then i applied this attribute in a property of a class like this [RequiredIf("InAppPurchase == true", "InAppPurchase", ErrorMessage = "Please enter an in app purchase promotional price")] //Added "InAppPurchase" public string InAppPurchasePromotionalPrice { get; set; } public bool InAppPurchase { get; set; } So what i want to do is display an error message that field InAppPurchasePromotionalPrice is required when InAppPurchase field is true (that means checked in the form). The following is the relevant code form the view: <div class="control-group"> <label class="control-label" for="InAppPurchase">Does your app include In App Purchase?</label> <div class="controls"> @Html.CheckBoxFor(o => o.InAppPurchase) @Html.LabelFor(o => o.InAppPurchase, "Yes") </div> </div> <div class="control-group" id="InAppPurchasePromotionalPriceDiv" @(Model.InAppPurchase == true ? Html.Raw("style='display: block;'") : Html.Raw("style='display: none;'"))> <label class="control-label" for="InAppPurchasePromotionalPrice">App Friday Promotional Price for In App Purchase: </label> <div class="controls"> @Html.TextBoxFor(o => o.InAppPurchasePromotionalPrice, new { title = "This should be at the lowest price tier of free or $.99, just for your App Friday date." }) <span class="help-inline"> @Html.ValidationMessageFor(o => o.InAppPurchasePromotionalPrice) </span> </div> </div> This code works perfectly but when i submit the form a full post is requested on the server in order to display the message. So i created JavaScript code to enable client-side validation: requiredif.js (function ($) { $.validator.addMethod('requiredif', function (value, element, params) { /*var inAppPurchase = $('#InAppPurchase').is(':checked'); if (inAppPurchase) { return true; } return false;*/ var isChecked = $(param).is(':checked'); if (isChecked) { return false; } return true; }, ''); $.validator.unobtrusive.adapters.add('requiredif', ['param'], function (options) { options.rules["requiredif"] = '#' + options.params.param; options.messages['requiredif'] = options.message; }); })(jQuery); This is the proposed way in msdn and tutorials i have found Of course i have also inserted the needed scripts in the form: jquery.unobtrusive-ajax.min.js jquery.validate.min.js jquery.validate.unobtrusive.min.js requiredif.js BUT...client side validation still does not work. So could you please help me find what am i missing? Thanks in advance.

  • globals and locals in python exec()

    - by hawkettc
    Hi, I'm trying to run a piece of python code using exec. my_code = """ class A(object): pass print 'locals: %s' % locals() print 'A: %s' % A class B(object): a_ref = A """ global_env = {} local_env = {} my_code_AST = compile(my_code, "My Code", "exec") exec(my_code_AST, global_env, local_env) print local_env which results in the following output locals: {'A': <class 'A'>} A: <class 'A'> Traceback (most recent call last): File "python_test.py", line 16, in <module> exec(my_code_AST, global_env, local_env) File "My Code", line 8, in <module> File "My Code", line 9, in B NameError: name 'A' is not defined However, if I change the code to this - my_code = """ class A(object): pass print 'locals: %s' % locals() print 'A: %s' % A class B(A): pass """ global_env = {} local_env = {} my_code_AST = compile(my_code, "My Code", "exec") exec(my_code_AST, global_env, local_env) print local_env then it works fine - giving the following output - locals: {'A': <class 'A'>} A: <class 'A'> {'A': <class 'A'>, 'B': <class 'B'>} Clearly A is present and accessible - what's going wrong in the first piece of code? I'm using 2.6.5, cheers, Colin * UPDATE 1 * If I check the locals() inside the class - my_code = """ class A(object): pass print 'locals: %s' % locals() print 'A: %s' % A class B(object): print locals() a_ref = A """ global_env = {} local_env = {} my_code_AST = compile(my_code, "My Code", "exec") exec(my_code_AST, global_env, local_env) print local_env Then it becomes clear that locals() is not the same in both places - locals: {'A': <class 'A'>} A: <class 'A'> {'__module__': '__builtin__'} Traceback (most recent call last): File "python_test.py", line 16, in <module> exec(my_code_AST, global_env, local_env) File "My Code", line 8, in <module> File "My Code", line 10, in B NameError: name 'A' is not defined However, if I do this, there is no problem - def f(): class A(object): pass class B(object): a_ref = A f() print 'Finished OK' * UPDATE 2 * ok, so the docs here - http://docs.python.org/reference/executionmodel.html 'A class definition is an executable statement that may use and define names. These references follow the normal rules for name resolution. The namespace of the class definition becomes the attribute dictionary of the class. Names defined at the class scope are not visible in methods.' It seems to me that 'A' should be made available as a free variable within the executable statement that is the definition of B, and this happens when we call f(), but not when we use exec(). This can be more easily shown with the following - my_code = """ class A(object): pass print 'locals in body: %s' % locals() print 'A: %s' % A def f(): print 'A in f: %s' % A f() class B(object): a_ref = A """ which outputs locals in body: {'A': <class 'A'>} A: <class 'A'> Traceback (most recent call last): File "python_test.py", line 20, in <module> exec(my_code_AST, global_env, local_env) File "My Code", line 11, in <module> File "My Code", line 9, in f NameError: global name 'A' is not defined So I guess the new question is - why aren't those locals being exposed as free variables in functions and class definitions - it seems like a pretty standard closure scenario.

  • jQuery animation menu height

    - by StealthRT
    Hey all i have the following jsfiddle Fiddle that i need some help on. When i have my mouse over it-it expands out to a static width but, depending on the text length, it grabs it by the inner's text $('.inner').height(). Problem being is that it goes a little too far beyond the last text list item and when i roll over any of the text in the menu box it slides back up a little. How can prevent it from (1) sliding back up and (2) have the exact height needed without even having the extra space at the bottom of the box for its height? The JS: $(document).ready(function() { $('#menuSquare, .inner').mouseout(function() { theMenu('close'); }); $('#menuSquare, .inner').mouseover(function() { theMenu('open'); }); }); function theMenu(what2Do) { if (what2Do == 'open') { $('#menuSquare').stop().animate({ width: 190, //95 height: $('.inner').height(), duration:900, 'padding-top' : 10, 'padding-right' : 10, 'padding-bottom' : 10, 'padding-left' : 10, backgroundColor: '#fff', opacity: 0.8 }, 1000,'easeOutCubic') } else { $('#menuSquare').stop().animate({ width: "20", height: "20", padding: '0px', backgroundColor: '#e51937', opacity: 0.8 }, 500,'easeInCirc') } }? The HTML: <div id="menuSquare" class="TheMenuBox" style="overflow: hidden; width: 20px; height: 20px; background-color: rgb(229, 25, 55); opacity: 0.8; padding: 0px;"> <div class="inner"> <p style="text-decoration:none; color:#666; cursor: pointer; " onclick="changeImg('Custom Homes');">Custom Homes</p> <p style="text-decoration:none; color:#666; cursor: pointer; " onclick="changeImg('Full Service Hotels');">Full Service Hotels</p> <p style="text-decoration:none; color:#666; cursor: pointer; " onclick="changeImg('Mixed Use');">Mixed Use</p> <p style="text-decoration:none; color:#666; cursor: pointer; " onclick="changeImg('Office');">Office</p> <p style="text-decoration:none; color:#666; cursor: pointer; " onclick="changeImg('Retail');">Retail</p> <p style="text-decoration:none; color:#666; cursor: pointer; " onclick="changeImg('Select Service Hotels');">Select Service Hotels</p> </div> </div>

This is done by just setting the nominator to 1, i.e the nominator becomes the scalar on the first iteration. To be honest, I'm kind of following the wikipedia algorithm blindly here. The article says that if the denominator is scaled in the half-open range (0.5, 1.0], a good first estimate can be based on the denominator alone: Let F be the estimated scalar and D be the denominator, then F = 2 - D. But when doing this, I lose a lot of precision. Say if I want to find the reciprocal of 512.00002f. In order to scale the number down, I lose 10 bits of precision in the fraction part, which is shifted out. So, my questions are: Is there a way to pick a better estimate which does not require normalization? Also, is it possible to pre-calculate the first estimates so the series converges faster? Right now, it converges after the 4th iteration on average. On ARM this is about ~50 cycles worst case, and that's not taking emulation of clz/bsr into account, nor memory lookups. Here is my testcase. Note: The software implementation of clz on line 13 is from my post here. You can replace it with an intrinsic if you want. #include <stdio.h> #include <stdint.h> const unsigned int BASE = 22ULL; static unsigned int divfp(unsigned int val, int* iter) { /* Nominator, denominator, estimate scalar and previous denominator */ unsigned long long N,D,F, DPREV; int bitpos; *iter = 1; D = val; /* Get the shift amount + is right-shift, - is left-shift. */ bitpos = 31 - clz(val) - BASE; /* Normalize into the half-range (0.5, 1.0] */ if(0 < bitpos) D >>= bitpos; else D <<= (-bitpos); /* (FNi / FDi) == (FN(i+1) / FD(i+1)) */ /* F = 2 - D */ F = (2ULL<<BASE) - D; /* N = F for the first iteration, because the nominator is simply 1. So don't waste a 64-bit UMULL on a multiply with 1 */ N = F; D = ((unsigned long long)D*F)>>BASE; while(1){ DPREV = D; F = (2<<(BASE)) - D; D = ((unsigned long long)D*F)>>BASE; /* Bail when we get the same value for two denominators in a row. This means that the error is too small to make any further progress. */ if(D == DPREV) break; N = ((unsigned long long)N*F)>>BASE; *iter = *iter + 1; } if(0 < bitpos) N >>= bitpos; else N <<= (-bitpos); return N; } int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { double fv, fa; int iter; unsigned int D, result; sscanf(argv[1], "%lf", &fv); D = fv*(double)(1<<BASE); result = divfp(D, &iter); fa = (double)result / (double)(1UL << BASE); printf("Value: %8.8lf 1/value: %8.8lf FP value: 0x%.8X\n", fv, fa, result); printf("iteration: %d\n",iter); return 0; }
