    I am doing .net application which is in vb.I am getting an runtime error when running in Internet Explorer,but its running in mozilla. Error as following Error:SysArgumentTypeException:Object of type 'AjaxControlToolKit.Animation.Length Animation' cannot be converted to type ;AjaxControlToolKit.Animation'.Parameter Instance. Error is getting in MicrosoftAjax.debug.js if(!this.isInstanceOfType(instance)) throw Error.argumentType('instance',ObjectgetType(instance)) What may be the reason for this error.What can i do to resolve this? Can anybody help?

  • Does Marshal.ReleaseComObject call the garbage collector ?

    Hi, I was asked this question today by a colleague, and couldn't find any clue on the Internet... Can someone tell me if calling Marshall.ReleaseComObject()directly calls the garbage collector ? As I understand it, it only removes COM references, and then the G.C. cleans memory on its next pass, but I can be mistaken... Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hey Guys, I have a uitableview and I am populating the tableview with data from the internet. I added some sort features to the table but when I do the sorting and get new results from the web server and reload the table. The table doesn't refresh, the old results stay on the table and if I press on a particular cell I see the new result just for that cell. Can someone please help me? Thanks

Looking round the internet I can't find any good examples or tutorials on how to create a visual studio plugin that can be docked to the bottom of the screen (same place as error list, test results, etc) Does anyone know of a good website I can look at for examples or tutorials of the basics of creating a visual studio plugin, specifically for VS2008?

    All over the Internet, included even here at StackOverlow, people state that a good way to check if a request is AJAX or not is to do the following: strtolower($_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH']) == 'xmlhttprequest' ) However, I don't see $_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH'] in the official PHP documentation And when I try to do the following: echo $_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH']; Nothing is outputted. Am I doing something wrong? Because I'd really like to be able to use $_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH'] if it's available.
