  Good day, I've ran into a problem with opening a file with randomly generated name in Python 2.6. import random random = random.randint(1,10) localfile = file("%s","wb") % random Then I get an error message about the last line TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for %: 'file' and 'int' I just couldn't figure this out by myself nor with Google, but there has to be a cure for this, I believe.   In an app I'm profiling, I found that in some scenarios this function is able to take over 10% of total execution time. MSVC++ 2008 compiler is being used, for reference... I don't recall if modf maps to a single instruction or if there is likely any way to make it faster. see also here for similar question on sqrt function

  I have setup OpenVPN on my server, and I am able to connect to it just fine, and browse the web, etc, from the client box. If I set the following option in the client config, I can no longer browse the web via domain name: redirect-gateway def1 On the server, I have run the following command: iptables -t nat -s 10.8.0.0/24 -A POSTROUTING -j SNAT --to myserver'sIP but that hasn't changed anything.   I'm trying to get the YEARWEEK function to see Sunday as the 1st day of the week. An example date is: Sunday 1st Mar 2009 Here is my sql SELECT YEARWEEK('2009-03-01') and the result is - 200909 Which is week 9. I believe it is telling me this is week 9 because it sees the sunday as the last day of the previous week. How would I get this function to see sunday as the 1st day of the week and therefore return as week 10?
