I am trying to create a thin line under a nav bar to follow the mouse but am having trouble getting e.page:X to set the width of the element.
Here is what I have:
$('#test').mousemove(function(){
var linewidth = e.pageX;
$("#line").width($linewidth);
})
})
Can anyone tell me why this is not setting the width of #line
I'm doing a C# project and I want to call next_permutation from the algorithm library in C++. I found the way to call c++ functions in c# but i dont know how to get vectors from c++ and use it in c# (cause next_permutation require a int vector...)
this is what I'm trying at the moment:
extern void NextPermutation(vector<int>& permutation)
{
next_permutation (permutation.begin(),permutation.end());
}
[DllImport("PEDLL.dll", CallingConvention = CallingConvention.Cdecl)]
private static extern void NextPermutation(IntPtr test);
After test driving Google Chrome for 30 minutes or so, I like it, even if it seems bare-bones at the moment. The obvious way to add a few things I can't live without would be through plugins. Does anyone have any links to resources on how to get started building a plugin/addon for Chrome? Thanks.
How can I suspend the execution of a JVM for a configurable amount of time, similar to want happens on a full, serial, Garbage Collection? I want to test some edge cases but it's difficult to create the exact pauses I need with manually generating garbage + System.gc().
I am "translating" a NUnit test to Visual Studios unit testing and I am wondering if the attribute [ClassInitialize()] in VS is equivalent to [SetUp()] in NUnit?
Here is something that has bogged me down for quite sometime. I have created two fiddles so you can test live:
Fiddle #1: http://www.jsfiddle.net/Jdk9R/2/
Fiddle #2: http://www.jsfiddle.net/d5PEu/
Looking at the Fiddle #1 you can make out that if the text is not formatted properly with spaces, the text overflows the border. How do i make this function similar to fiddle #2? Or is this unavoidable?
According to Instruments 'Net Bytes' of my app are never more than 2MB yet sometimes I receive memory warning and the app crashes because some views on the stack are unloaded by force.
I'd like to know what is the typical memory footprint where system would not send you memory warning and unload the views ?
I have so far tried this on OS 3.1.2 on iphone 3GS and 3G and with 3G giving warning almost 80% of the time I test the app on it.
I am trying to make a little application to allow to record actions within a Flash and Silverlight application. In such manner that you can compile your interactive application in test-mode and then be able to click on elements which then passed the action to Selenium IDE which then adds this command to the testcase.
I am curious if this even possible and how I can achieve this in Firefox?
Hi,
Is there a way to know if a remote object implements an interface (I cannot change/add methods to the remote object).
Indeed I cannot use a IsAssignableFrom nor the "as" to test since it's a remote object. Then I have an exception when I try to call a non implemented methods.
Thx
Hi,
I have a string "hello [world] this {is} a (test)" I want to remove all text in braces, e.g. returning "hello this a". But only if the braces match.
Anyone have a nice neat solution?
Here is my test: I access a servlet to get the JVM to load (absorb the loading request). Then i access a JSP that has <%= 5+7 %> in it and nothing else. The first access to this JSP uses 350ms of CPU time and has latency of 200ms. Subsequent accesses only have latency and cpu time of about 20ms.
Why does the first access to the jsp after starting the servlet container take longer?
Let say, I have an iframe like that:
and in test.html, there is a button that will change its url to ...let say google.com
so, is there any way that the iframe knows there is a change in the src?
e.g. onchange or onload.. or whatever.
Hi,
I have set the correct CVS Root, within this root I have a repository which
contains a number of files. In particular, I am interested in the revisions of
one of the files, lets call it test.tex. Now I would like to get ALL different versions
of this file, from the repository. Is there somehow a command that I could use to do that?
Or do I need to extract them one after the other?
Many thanks!
I created a maven project in eclipse. I uploaded it to my subversion server. Now on my testing server I installed maven and I want to connect it with my svn repository to run test builds on. Not sure how to do this since I have only worked with Maven via the eclipse plug-in.
Since attributes don't inherit in C# (at least I didn't think they did) - how does the following code still display the Hello popup when the MyTestMethod test is run:
[TestClass]
public class BaseTestClass {
[TestInitialize]
public void Foo() {
System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show("Hello");
}
}
[TestClass]
public class TestClass : BaseTestClass {
[TestMethod]
public void MyTestMethod() {
Assert.IsTrue(true);
}
}
Can subsonic 3.0 be used with a winform app? Do I need to add any references to the system.web?
If it can be done, how can I exclude certain tables in the DB? Can I use the following whih I am using for subsonic 2.0
<providers>
<!--<clear/>-->
<add name="TEST" type="SubSonic.SqlDataProvider, SubSonic" connectionStringName="myString" includeTableList="CustomerReference" includeProcedureList=""/>
</providers>
Can't believe how difficult this seems to be all I want to is to validate a user inout using javascript to make sure that it is an email address. But can't get it to work:
I am using:
//validates a regulaer expression
Utilities2.prototype.validateEmail = function(stringToValidateArg)
{
alert('about to check regexp');
var regExpPattern = /^[a-zA-Z0-9._-]+@[a-zA-Z0-9.-]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}$/;
alert(regExpPattern.test(stringToValidateArg));
}
But this always returns false, any ideas why is it because of the regular expression?
Even though its obnoxious in a lot of ways I use PHPMyAdmin all the time to debug database issues while writing PHP. By default it sorts tables by primary key ascending. 99% of the time I would rather have the newest data (my test data) shown at the top by default rather than the useless first few records ever saved.
Is there a way to configure PHPMyAdmin to show the newest records by default? To alter similar behavior?
Is Test Driven Development limited to OO? Or is it possible/useful to use it in conjunction with a procedural language? I have to start a greater project in C the next few weeks and I'm thinking of ways how to the developing.
Is there anything like Beanshell, which exposes CLR classes instead of Java classes, and lets you write scripts in C# or VB.Net (or any .Net language for that matter)
Should come in handy to test one-liner code snippets
Hi how should i iterate array of variables and reassign value to each variable. E.g in jQuery
function test(param1, param2) {
$.each([param1, param2], function (i, v) {
//check if all the input params have value, else assign the default value to it
if (!v)
v = default_value; //this is wrong, can't use v, which is value
}
}
How should I get the variable and assign new value in the loop?
Thank you very much!
So, I'm setting up Hudson right now and couldn't be more pleased. However, I need to display a table in the test results page as opposed to the graph it provides. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this?
I want to branch if a message-property-code does exist or not.
<g:if test="${message(code: 'default.code.foo')}">
true
</g:if><g:else>
false
</g:else>
should answer true if there a message property named default.code.foo and false if not.
It fails because it answers the code if there is no property for it.
