    How can I get the rearranged columns out of a datagridview in C#? I need to get all the columns currently being displayed in order. I can get the default columns order by setting datagridview.AutoGenerateColumns=false but I get the same old order even after I've rearranged the columns in my table. Thanks

    Hi, I'd like to know how people decide whether to define a method as static. I'm aware that a method can only be defined as static if it doesn't require access to instance fields. So lets say we have a method that does not access instance fields, do you always define such a method as static, or only if you need to call it statically (without a reference to an instance).     Hey, I would like to know how you can disable UIAlerts, specifically the Alerts being displayed after tapping and holding hyperlinks in a UIWebView. These seem to be enabled by default in UIWebViews containing the link address of the respective link in the title of the alert. They are also enabled in Safari.     Is it possible, from within ASP.NET MVC, to route to different controllers or actions based on the accessing device/browser? I'm thinking of setting up alternative actions and views for some parts of my website in case it is accessed from the iPhone, to optimize display and functionality of it. I don't want to create a completely separate project for the iPhone though as the majority of the site is fine on any device. Any idea on how to do this?

    I have some code that sets the lang var to the site default language. $lg = &JFactory::getLanguage(); $lg = explode('-',$lg->_default); $dlg = $lg[0]; if(!JRequest::getWord('lang', false )) JRequest::setVar('lang', $dlg ); however before setting it to $dlg I would like to find out if the language is stored in the user information or session. Can someone tell me how to check the session for language information?

    I have 4 check boxes and by default they are checked and depending on these check boxes i have to show a value some where else. for ex: suppose for first checkbox i say 1, second 2 ,third 3 and fourth 4 so initially i store this value in a string name dg="1,2,3,4" if the user unchecks the second check box the value in my dg must be showing : dg="1,3,4" And again if the user checks the second chekbox , my dg must store the value : dg="1,2,3,4" How to achieve this? Can I get it so that it will read the play object from a cache without making it lazy loading? Am I correct that eager loading will force it to do a join query and hence no caching?

    I am adding a UILabel as a subview to a UIView and sometime later I want to hide it. It is assigned to a variable but I don't think setting the variables property Hidden after it's been added to the view will work (well it doesn't seem to anyway). Is there a way to loop through the subviews in a view and then find the one that has a specific tag or is of type UILabel that I could then remove?

  • How to activate revision info in line number view

    I know of an Eclipse feature to show revision information (gradual coloring, more info like revisionnumber, date and author on mouseover) for the last changes in a line in the linenumbers-view. Does anyone know how to activate this feature for a file, or even better, by default? I accidently hit some shortcut lately which made it show in one file, it does not show up in the others, though.
