Should we define fixed height to header, footer, sidebar etc. or it'not necessary bcoz we can achieve needed results without height using margin, padding, positioning?
I'd like to get a quick overview of available solutions (libraries, ...) that allow me to work with XML documents with namespaces on a DOM level - in GWT's client side.
Additionally, I'm looking for an XPath solution that can work on that DOM (even if it requires writing my own XPath Navigator).
XML parsing and serialization isn't necessary on the client - this can be done on the server.
I Built site for aviation services
Now I want to link my asp.net site to IATA to find the necessary information on the movements of aircraft, etc....
So how can I link my site to this service? or can I link to DB of IATA?
Thanks,
bwlabel can be used to get disconnected objects in an image:
[L Ne] = bwlabel(image);
I want to make the objects(But my target is only the contours of these objects) connected by adding a shortest path where necessary.
How do I approach this?
Hi, i have two site that are app1 and app2. if user request a resource in app2, in order to authenticate, i like to redirect login page which is in app1. once authenticated over there, return back to app2.
can you please tell what are necessary steps
For example, I have strings #0f0, #00FF00, green and in all cases I want to transform them to Color.GREEN.
Are there any standard ways or maybe some libraries have necessary functionality?
As far as I understand it is necessary for people using Scala for Android applications to bundle the Scala classes they used with their application.
Considering this adds hundreds of kilobytes to each Scala app redundantly, would it be possible to build a Scala library which can be delivered over the market, so app writers can just depend on that library instead of bundling it themselves?
<td style="width:230px;overflow:hidden;">
<?php echo $something; ?>
</td>
What I'm doing is to cut $something to 2 rows at most,and add ... when necessary,
but this kind of requirement seems clue less when trying to implement,
Solutions within the scope of php/javascript/css are appreciated!
anyone has ideas?
Hello, I'm trying to figure out the right way to read lucene index only once whilst running the application multiple times, how can I do that in java?
Because indexed data will not change so reading them each time would not be necessary. Can someone explain me the logic of it reading them only once? thank you
I would like to do something like this:
abstract class Foo
{
public function __construct()
{
echo 'This is the parent constructor';
}
abstract function __construct();
}
class Bar extends Foo
{
// constructor is required as this class extends Foo
public function __construct()
{
//call parent::__construct() if necessary
echo 'This is the child constructor';
}
}
But I get a fatal error when doing this:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare Foo::__construct() in Foo.php on line 8
Is there another way to ensure child classes have a constructor?
So, I came across an interesting method signature that I don't quite understand, it went along the lines of:
void Initialize(std::vector< std::string > & param1, class SomeClassName * p);
what I don't understand is the "class" keyword being used as the parameter, why is it there? Is it necessary to specify or it is purely superficial?
please forgive me if i am wrong:
I have an interface Interface1
I have its implementation Imple implements Interface (all methods hav been implemented :) )
now consider a third class CheckCall
can I do a call in the class CheckCall like I mention below
Interface1 interface1;
interface1.method();
all necessary imports have been done. Please tell me is it possible or not , if not then ok and if yes then tell me what will happen if i have more than one impl classes for the same interface and i am doing the same call.
When I reading the code of CodeIgniter,I found some functions written as follows:
function &get_instance()
{
global $CI, $OBJ;
if (is_object($CI))
{
return $CI;
}
return $OBJ->load;
}
I can understand variable refrence,but I can hardly get this through.Is it necessary to use this function style?And any benefit?
Thanks.
Hi,
As opposed to manually setting up a Wifi network(scanningaddingset encryption settings, etc) I'm trying to create an app that once the user enters his login credentials will automatically add the wifi network complete with the necessary network settings.
Maybe i've been searching using the wrong keywords but I havent stumbled upon anything about this.
I'm wondering which class(es) I should be looking at. Is this even allowed by the API?
i'm using ffmpeg to convert videos to desired formats and to generate the thumbnails..
I want to find the total duration of the video to display in the main page along with the thumbnails..
Can i use ffmpeg to find the duration when its being uploaded and store them on the database.?
Is storing the duration in db is necessary or else is there any other method?

When Finder of Mac, Explorer of Windows did drag & drop of a specific item in the Swing application to a desktop and a folder,
How to get the former path which I dropped?
I am happy teach me a necessary class and method.
Hi,
I want to convert some of our internal API into a spring bean that we can use in other projects. This API needs some instantiation and other logic which I want to encapsulate in this bean so that we can just put the bean into our app context with necessary propoerties alone.
I remember having read an article on this somewhere in the past - but cant find it now.
Any pointers to something similar will be helpful
I had created a package with necessary connections. And I had enabled Package Configurations. But I am unable to execute the package. Error is shown. And its related to connection failure , I think.
I am using g_object_set_data to set user name with event_box so in call back i can get it with in event_box pointer.
g_object_set_data(G_OBJECT(event_box), "user_name", (gpointer)(user_name) );
but problem is that i am setting user_name which is not an pointer allocated string.
It is an local string (not allocated on hip) which gets destroyed.
So is it necessary to allocated and then use the pointer, i just want to associate one name with this event_box.
I am kind of new to C (I have prior Java, C#, and some C++ experience). In C, is it necessary to declare a function prototype or can the code compile without it? Is it good programming practice to do so? Or does it just depend on the compiler? (I am running Ubuntu 9.10 and using the GNU C Compiler, or gcc, under the Code::Blocks IDE)
Hi there,
I have this piece of code and i don't know how it works
#include <stdio.h>
int main(void)
{
int numero = ({const int i = 10; i+10;});
printf("%d\n", numero); // Prints 20
return 0;
}
Why if i delete the second part (i+10;), the compiler gets an error?
Why are the brackets necessary?
Thank you ^^!
