  Is there a way to comment out markup in an .ASPX page so that it isnt delivered to the client? I have tried the standard comments but this just gets delivered as a comment and doesn't prevent the control from rendering. Any suggestions would help

  I have forms that I want to display in different languages : I used the label parameter to set a parameter, and used ugettext() on the labels : agreed_tos = forms.BooleanField(label=ugettext('I agree to the terms of service and to the privacy policy.')) But when I am rendering the form in my template, using {{form.as_p}} The labels are not translated. Does somebody have a solution for this problem ?

  Is there an easy way to apply CSS/icons to the modal buttons on a jQuery UI modal dialog box? If I include the HTML to display an icon with the button text, it shows the HTML as text rather than rendering the code.   I'm rendering 2D polygons with the GLUTesselator the first time, then they are stored in a display list for subsequent use. I think VBO's might be faster, but since I can't access the stuff that the tesselator outputs, and since it uses mixes of gl_triangle, quad, strip etc, i'm not sure how I could do this, even though I would like to use VBO's once the GLUTesselator is done with them for optimal performance. Due to some complicated layout code, I need to know the height of the two TextBlock elements so that I can draw some fancy connector lines, and line up other controls, etc. If I know the text that's going into the TextBlocks, and I know the font, etc., is there some way I can compute or measure the height of these TextBlocks without actually rendering them?

  jQuery has the very cool feature/method ".data", i wonder if there is a way to have the data in the code so that jQuery can use it when the rendering of html is done. Suppose i have a repeater and looping out children, and i want to add some data to those children without using classes etc. Will i have to add javascript to that repeater just to add stuff to the "data of jquery" or is there some better way?
