    Hi, I have a RoR application and model SomeModel. I have views for this model and I want to know - is there any method to get the view's path? Of course I can use for this model instance m = SomeModel.new v = m.class.class_name.pluralize.downcase It's working, but maybe you know a better way? :)

  • CrystalReportViewer does not display Charts

    Hi, My CrystalReportViewer won't display the charts in my Crystal Report. I get a red X. I am using C# and MVC. I've read somewehre that I might need a virtual path to the image folder but I am not really sure what that means as my chart is embedded in the report....Maybe I am missing something. However this even if the userName is only 3 characters and is not student I'm still hitting Application.Exit. What am I doing wrong? if (userName.Length > 4 | userName != "student") { Application.Exit(); } Shame on me :-(

    Hi all, I don't know how CookieHandler works system wide, I did view the source of CookieHandler but found no more information except the get/set methods. Where do TCP/HTTP connections use instance of CookieHandler, which I set by CookieHandler.setDefault(...) Which source file I should refer to?     Hi, I just noticed that if I have an identity column in a table, when I insert new rows SQL Server 2008 is automatically filling up the sequence if there are discontinuity. I mean, if in my identity column I have 1,2,5,6 if I insert other two rows in the table the system puts automatically 3,7 in the identity column. Do you know how to control this behavior? THANKS

    Hi, I have this line of code: return (this.pretWithoutDiscount / Double.Parse(UtilsStatic.getEuroValue())).ToString("N2") + "€"; In debug mode i've tested and the values are: UtilsStatic.getEuroValue() = "4.1878" this.pretWithoutDiscount = 111.0 Can anyone explaing WHY: Double.Parse(UtilsStatic.getEuroValue()) = 41878.0 when it should be 4.1878 ??     Hi, I try to use the SQL statement SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY column via an PDO-Object in PHP. Problem is, that I always get an error (Call to a member function fetchall() on a non-object - that means, the query did not return a PDO-object) when using the names of all columnname EXCEPT for ID. When I query SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY ID it works. ID is the PRIMARY INTEGER KEY, all other columns are TEXT or NUMERIC, neither of them would works with the ORDER BY clause. Any ideas?

ID TimeStamp -- --------- 1 123456789 2 123456789 3 333333333 4 334345643 In my PHP Script: $sql = "SELECT DISTINCT TIMESTAMP FROM TIMESTAMPS ORDER BY TIMESTAMP" When i use order by, the values are returned twice? Without order by the result is correct.. but not sorted. We are using Oracle 10g Any ideaS?
