• Visual Studio: reset user settings when debugging

  In a C# Winforms-App I have several user settings stored. Is there an easy way to clear those settings each time I start debugging the project from Visual Studio 2008? Otherwise it always starts up with the settings from the last debug-session. Thank you!

  I've inherited a Visual Studio/VB.Net numerical simulation project that has a likely inefficient calculation. Profiling indicates that the function is called a lot (1 million times plus) and spends about 50% of the overall calculation within this function. Here is the problematic portion Result = (A * (E ^ C)) / (D ^ C * B) (where A-C are local double variables and D & E global double variables) Result is then compared to a threshold which might have additional improvements as well, but I'll leave them another day any thoughts or help would be appreciated Steve

  My debugger does not work when I start project in debug mode. But when I set checkbox Allow the source code to different from the original version. Debugger works. But solution not wokrs properly. For example for files with build action "Content" and Copy to outputDirectory to "Copy if newer" does not copy to bin/Debug Is anybody know the solution?

• screenOrientation to fullsensor got error in Manifest

  I am trying to work on a project that will work on 4 orientations. I set it on AndroidManifest.xml android:screenOrientation="sensor", it works but it only does 3 orientation. So i set it to android:screenOrientation="fullSensor" for 4 orientation. Unfortunately, i got this error error: Error: String types not allowed (at 'screenOrientation' with value 'fullSensor'). Anybody knows how to make this work?

  HI One of my requirement is to have prefix on all the tables of the django based project (Because db is hosted on shared server). I have used db_table Meta option to set the prefix for the tables which I have created. Now my query is how do I set the prefix for tables provided by django.contrib. Instead of auth_group django should create prefix_auth_group.... How do I do that? Thank you very much...

  could anybody knows any alternatives to progressbar? Inmy project im using progressbar..I would like to change it to something like a rotating gif image which indicates the processing or someother labels which prevents the user from interacting to the program.I tried to implement the gif image by using background worker but its hanging may be coz of huge file transfer process.. So im searching for someother alternative like a label which will disable the content and prevent the user to interact with the program. Could anybody help me on this?

  I'd like to build an MSI installer that installs a managed DLL and makes it accessible to users from Visual Studio's "Add References" menu in Solution Explorer. I believe I am supposed to add a key into the Windows registry but I cannot see how to tell the VS project for the MSI to do this at install.   I believe Adobe tools like CS5 have ways to output as an iPhone app, but what about a regular AS3 or Flex project? Are there any tools to auto-port, or AS3/Flex iPhone implementations out there? Out of interest, how does the CS5 thing work? Is it a totally different code-path or something less drastic? For instance Flash supports Shapes and Timelines, etc... do they in fact provide an iPhone Flash runtime of some sort?

  Hi, In a project, I change a UILabel's text with setText, a UIButton's color and after that do a time consuming calculation, followed by an animation. However, the text's and color's change is reflected after the calculation is executed (and before the animation begins) however I want to reflect the changes immediately before calculation (as you guess it is a waiting text) How can I achieve this?
