    The question is: will me license (Keys) for Windows server 2003 still work after the subscription is closed on a new install? It's not volume license. My windows XP still works on my computer it was installed while i had the subscription. I saved an xml file with all the keys so i still got them and was wondering if they work on new installs?

  • jQTouch animated table cell hight

    Hi everybody, I am using jQTouch to show a table list. When a cell (really a < li tag in jQTouch) is clicked, I would like to animate the height of the cell down to 0, then hide the element. I have tried using jquery.animate() for this, and it works on firefox/chrome/opera, but it is super slow on the iPhone. Does anyone have any idea how to use -webkit-animate (or some iPhone compatible framework, such as jQTouch), to do this? Thanks, Brett

  • iPhone SDK: TextView, Keyboard in Landscape mode

    Hello. How do I make sure that the textview is shown and the keyboard is not obscuring the textview, while in landscape. Using UICatalog I created a TextViewController which works. In it there are two methods for calling the keyboard and making sure that textView is positioned above the keyboard. his just works great in Portrait mode. I got the Landscape mode working, but on the textView is still being put to the top of the iPhone to compensate for the keyboard in portrait mode. I changed the methods for showing the keyboards.   • Managing timezone in php with ics date/time format

    Ok, I'm using an ICS parser utility to parse google calendar ICS files. It works great, except google is feeding me the times of the events at UCT.. so I need to subtract 5 hours now, and 6 hours when daylight savings happens. To get the start time I'm using: $timestart = date("g:iA",strtotime(substr($event['DTSTART'], 9, -3))); //$event['DTSTART'] feeds me back the date in ICS format: 20100406T200000Z So any suggestions how to handle timezone and daylight savings time?     I'm using carrier-specific addresses to send email to SMS, which works fine. In reference to the answer of this question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1179854/limitations-on-sms-messages-sent-using-free-email-sms-gateways is there any websites or other resources that list the format that is delivered for each carrier. ATT for example delivers the SMS with some added formatting that is not present with T-Mobile. I realize this is not a coding question, but since I can only see this question arising for someone that is creating email to SMS specific applications, it seems relevant to SO.

    Hi all, I have a program that crashes when I execute it with System.Diagnostics.Process.Start in C#, but works fine if I execute a shortcut or batch file that runs the exe. Are there any alternative means of executing programs in C#, or any reasons why Process.Start might not work compared to the shortcut or batch file? I'd rather not have to generate a batch or shortcut file to run the application. Thanks

On my pc, everything works fine, but on another one (a french windows), it doesn't save my chars correctly. french chars like é, è, â,.. were saved as 'É', or something like that. I googled a lot but still did not found any solution, i'm also not able to reproduce the problem on my own pc..

  • Finding x,y position of a datagrid / adavancedDataGrid row in Flex

    I have flex advancedDataGrid (could use dataGrid if that works better, though i like my meta-column headers), and i want to have a component popup on top of a selected row. The problem is, i can figure out how to reference an actual rendered row of a datagrid (rather than an item of the dataprovider) in order to get its position on the screen. Does anyone have any theories on how to access a "row" of a datagrid, or at least get its position? Cheers

    Some cells in my SlickGrid table have myClass class. I added a tooltip for them like this: $(".myClass").hover(// Mouse enters function(e) {...}, // Mouse leaves function() {...}); It works fine, but if I scroll the table to the bottom, and then scroll it back to the top, the tooltip does not appear anymore. Can someone suggest any workaround ? Thanks !

  • jQuery Dialog + Chrome - opening a second modal dialog doesn't dim the page

    I have a jQuery modal dialog with a button. When clicked, it closes the current dialog and open another modal dialog. This works fine in FF and IE, but in Chrome I lose the dimmed main page after the first dialog and the second one is opened. It looks like the CSS isn't applied anymore? I'm using jQuery UI 1.7.2 and jQuery 1.3.2 (can't upgrade to 1.4.1 for an unrelated reason). Any ideas/workarounds?

  • Why is there a black bar on top of my iPhone/iPad app when I run it on the iPhone simulator?

    Whenever I run my iPhone / iPad app in the iPhone simulator, a black bar appears along the top of the screen which I can't seem to get rid of. On the iPad simulator, however, it looks fine and works great. Also tapping one of the buttons seems to cause a white screen to appear instead of the view on the iPhone, while on the iPad it doesn't seem to be troublesome. Thanks, Anthony Glyadchenko
