  • adding user to windows make the administrator icon to disappear !

    Hello I used the command "net user" to add a new admin user to windows like that: net user myuser11 myuser11 /add net localgroup Administrators myuser11 /add the problem that after restart windows I only see the icon of the "myuser" and the default windows "Administrator" login icon disappeared !! the "Administrator" files still exists and I can login as "Administrator" after ctrl+alt+del but I need of course to display the "Administrator" icon in welcome screen how I fix that ? I use windows xp sp3 thanks

    I am trying to use Jquery to display dates in a dropdown with interval of half month... so the first value would be the coming month's 1st, then second will be the coming month's 15th and third value would be next to next month's first and so on... If today date is less than 15th then the first value would be the 15th of current month. What will be the best or a cleaner way to do this... (want to display in the dropdown) Thanks

  • background-color:#070707; different in photoshop than in browser

    I'm coding a website with: background-color:#070707; That color should be a very dark gray, just the way I see it in photoshop. Now when I launch this in my browser (the background-color is set on the body using CSS, so it's not an exported image), the color is darker than in Photoshop. I know there can be differences when exporting images due to color profiling, but when setting the color code, how can this be different from photoshop? Thanks a lot for helping

    Hi, Is there an alternative in OpenSSL to SSL_set_connect_state()/SSL_set_accept_state() for X.509 certificate based authentication? The problem is that in my application the client and server do not communicate using sockets, and the establishment of direct connection between them is not possible. So what I want from OpenSSL is to 'expose' the intermediate SSL context establishment messages which I would then convey to the party at the other end. Thanks for your help!

  • Pound symbol not displaying on web page

    Hello I have a mysql database table to store country name and currency symbol - the CHARSET has correctly set to UTF8. This is example data inserted into the table insert into country ( country_name, currency_name, currency_code, currency_symbol) values ('UK','Pounds','GBP','£'); When I look in the database - the pound symbol appears fine - but when I retrieve it from the database and display it on the website - a weird square symbol shows up with a question mark inside instead of the pound symbol.     Looking in the jQuery core I found the folloiwng code convention: nth: function(elem, i, match){ return match[3] - 0 === i; }, And I was really curious about the snippet match[3] - 0 Hunting around for '-0' on google isn't too productive, and a search for 'minus zero' brings back a reference to a Bob Dylan song. So, can anyone tell me. Is this some sort of performance trick, or is there a reason for doing this rather than a parseInt or parseFloat? Thanks
