    Hi, I have a telerik grid which is performing operations like searching,sorting,filtering etc. To make customers happy, we put this control in an ajax panel for seamless experience. Now, we added a new functionality to the grid where the customer can download the entire row information as a csv file. As the response is a file, ajax panel is trying to parse the output and throwing the following exception: Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled. Details: Error parsing near '?'. Could you please help me in having both functionalities( Ajax and Download) in place without any error?? Thanks, Mahesh

    Hi, I've got PHP and HTML code stored in a database table. When I get this data, I need to echo the HTML and process the PHP. I thought I could use eval() for this, which works, if I do this eval("echo 'dlsj'; ? EVALED "); I get dlsjEVALED printed out. The problem is, I get a fatal error when I run longer scripts. Things like: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/content.php(18) : eval()'d code on line 1 Any advice = awesome. Thanks.

    I'm having an annoying :) I use regexes from this: http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=77123 if you enter [url]www.bob.com[/url] it leads too http://localhost/test/www.bobsbar.com So I added before http://$1 in the replacement. That fix it but then [url]http://www.bob.com[/url] will lead to http://http://www.bobsbar.com How would you fix this? I want my users to be able to post links with AND without http:// and i want it to redirect to the site -_- Hope you understand this. Jorm

    Suppose AX =FFFE and BX=1234 now if we write cmp ax,bx (bx will be subtracted from ax and the approprite flages will be updated) now the binary representation of the numbers in ax and bx is given by AX = 1111 1111 1111 1110 BX= 0001 0010 0011 0100 As bx will be subtracted from ax so we have to negate bx (as Result= ax+(-bx)) so the negated bx (2's complement of bx ) is given by. BX= 1110 1101 1100 1100 Now we add both ax and bx (as subtraction is implemented by addition in computer) AX= 1111 1111 1111 1110 BX= 1110 1101 1100 1100 ------------------------------------ 1 1110 1101 1100 1010 Now as you can see the result is of 17 bits now the 17th bit should go into carry flage, but when i checked it the carry flag is 0 that is CF=0 why?

Despite reading several guides on ASCII, Unicode, utf-8 and the like, I think I'm still far from mastering the secrets of string encoding/decoding. After browsing StackOverflow and searching for insights via Google, I figured out I should ask the question here. Any idea ? Thanks !

  • MediaElement.Position behaviour and Windows Phone 7 issue

    I have a problem, I have written a simple Media Player for Windows Phone 7 and can Play, Stop and control the Volume of a Video (loaded from a URI) however when I try to set the position, this causes the application to freeze. I have used both these lines, but either does not work: Player.Position = new TimeSpan(0, 0, 0, 0, (int)Position.Value); Player.Position = TimeSpan.FromSeconds((int)(Position.Value)); I do have this event handler: void Player_MediaOpened(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { Position.Maximum = Player.NaturalDuration.TimeSpan.TotalMilliseconds; } And have tried using the Seconds value, casting to Ints etc, however everytime I try to set the Position, the app freezes. The video otherwise plays normally - anyone know what the problem may be here?

  • Jruby Gems-in-a-jar issue

    Hi all, I am trying to write some code in ruby (using jruby) to be compiled to java bytecode with jrubyc and deployed to a remote machine where it will be run on the JVM (no ruby available there). Everything works fine as long as I am happy to stick with the standard jruby library. As explained on the jruby website, I simply copy the jruby-complete.jar library to the remote machine and include it in the classpath at runtime. I fire my compiled script and it works: cool! The problems start when I need some other libraries (typically rubygems) to run my script. I am aware of cool stuff like rawr, -which I successfully tested- to put together all you need in a single package. However that is not the solution I am looking for: I will have many small scripts to run independently and I don't want each of them to grow to at least 10 MB just because I insanely include the jruby-complete.jar in each of them. What I would like is to compile a .jar for each of the libraries that I will need to use, put all of them in a common folder on the remote machine and include them at runtime in the classpath when I run my compiled jruby scripts on the JVM. This said, I tried to follow the instructions here: http://blog.nicksieger.com/articles/2009/01/10/jruby-1-1-6-gems-in-a-jar I tried exactly the example shown there, with the "chronic" gem. Going step by step: Install the gem locally: java -jar jruby-complete-1.1.6.jar -S gem install -i ./chronic chronic --no-rdoc --no-ri Package it into a jar: jar cf chronic.jar -C chronic .   • Cocos2D Director Pause/Resume Issue

    I am trying to play a .gif animation in cocos2D. For this i am using the library glgif. Now, to display the animation i am pausing the Director, adding a subview to show the animation and after the animation is done i am resuming the Director. However, I am not able to resume the state of the Director and it shows blank. So I tried this without pausing and resuming this Director and it still did not work.I also tried detaching the director before tha animation and adding it back afterwards and even that did not work. So is there a way to pause/suspend the Director in the application and properly restore is back? Thanks. I think the crash is because of CGEventMaskBit(kCGEventKeyUp) when I create an event tap. But if I create event tap using CGEventTapCreate(kCGHIDEventTap,kCGHeadInsertEventTap,kCGEventTapOptionListenOnly,CGEventMaskBit(kCGEventFlagsChanged),&keyUpCallback,NULL), the application works fine. It does not crash. I'm getting callbacks when any modifier key is pressed. But I need to get callbacks for delete key pressed. Any ideas? Thanks, Dheeraj.

  • PHP CLI version issue

    I am trying to use Zend Tool on my media temple Grid Server account. The problem is that the installed CLI version of PHP is 4.4.8 and Zend Framework needs PHP5. On an account basis its possible to choose PHP 4 or 5 but not so for CLI. Its possible to globally select to use PHP5 by using the extension .php5 but in the case of Zend Tool which is called by a shell script zf.sh i'm not sure what options i have. PHP5 is on the server at /usr/bin/php5 and someone at MT has suggested creating an alias so php=/usr/bin/php5 but i'm not sure that will work. Any ideas?

  • Ext-GWT / GXT (Not So) Simple Layout Issue?

    Hi all, I have posted this question on the Ext-GWT forums, I am just hoping that someone here might have an answer for me! I am struggling to do something I initially thought was simple but am beginning to believe is impossible... I have got a "layout template" of sorts - simply consisting of a few GWT DockLayoutPanel's within each other and finally ending in LayoutPanels. GWT's LayoutPanel is designed to size the widget (or Composite) that's added to it to its full size and does so perfectly with pure GWT widgets. The idea of my "layout template" is that I don't know the EXACT height and width of the very inner LayoutPanel's because I may set certain panels sizes (of the outer DockLayoutPanels) differently when instantiating this template. All I would like is to add a Grid component to one of the inner most LayoutPanels and have it size itself (height AND width) to fit as normal GWT widgets do (works perfectly with a GWT Label for instance). I am VERY new to GXT (as in I started using it earlier today) and I do realize that GXT builds its Components differently to the way GWT builds its Widgets on the DOM. Is there anyway to achieve the desired result? I have tried adding the grid to a ContentPanel with a Layout of FitLayout, I have tried AnchorLayout, I have tried adding the grid directly... Nothing seems to work... Any advice or even a push in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Xandel

    Hi, I've application to open popup window to print page. function printHTML(urlPath) { var printPopUp = window.open(urlPath,null,"height=600,width=777,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,scrollbars=yes"); printPopUp.print(); } This script is working fine in IE, but in firefox/chrome. print() function is overlapping window.open, as a result print dialog is showing first while screen is still loading. I need to close print dialog in order to render page properly then print manually. Please advise.

  • Strange xml/html accent issue

    I have an XML file that contains a message with html tags in it. The XML file is read by a java class that mails it to people. When the mail is received, the accents do not show. For example é doesn't show. I have tried &eacute; in the xml but it gives an error in eclipse saying that the entity has not been declared. I also tried simply inserting &#233; but that shows nothing in the final output. The 3rd thing I tried was using <![CDATA[é]]> but that broke the parser since it didn't output anything after it. However I noticed something weird. When i put something like this in the xml and added UTF-16 encoding <message>text bla bla blaa é&lt; it did ouput the é at the end like this bla bla blaa blaa é. EDIT <message>text bla bla blaa éé&lt; outputs ?é or just one é The file looks something like this: <?xml version="1.0"? encoding="UTF-16"> <message> &lt;b&gt;hello é &lt;/b&gt; </message> </xml> What gives?

  • Facebook Connect - logout issue

    Hello I think I'm missing a very silly detail but the logout funtion of facebook connect is not working for me. I followed the steps posted in this answer by Typeoneerror but I cant get it to work. This is my logout javascript function function logout() { FB.init("API_KEY", "/xd_receiver.htm"); FB.Connect.logoutAndRedirect("/logout/url"); } When I click on it - nothing happens - In the browser status bar - For a second I see a message which says waiting for facebook - but I continue to stay on the same page. It does not redirect me nor does it log me out of facebook either. Just to see if the function is being called - I removed FB.init call from the function and then I get the error Error Message: 'FB.Connect' is null or not an object Any suggestions on how to debug this. Here is some details/code which really shows why FailureInformation shouldn't be always null http://forums.asp.net/t/991002.aspx if any password security conditions not matched. According with my Membership settings i should get an exception that password does not match password security conditions, but it is not happened. Then i did try to debug System.Web.ApplicationServices.dll(in .NET 4.0 System.Web.Security located here) Framework Code to see whats really happens there, but i cant step into this assembly, may be because of this [TypeForwardedFrom("System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=Neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a")] public abstract class MembershipProvider : ProviderBase Easily i may step into any another .NET 4.0 assembly, but in this one not. I did check, symbols for System.Web.ApplicationServices.dll loaded. Now i have only one idea how ti fix it - to override method OnValidatingPassword(ValidatePasswordEventArgs e). Thats my story.
