I'm using MS Powerpoint 2007 to create the slideshow of a session, I'm looking for a professional-looking, free-of-charge, business-eligible templates to download so I can use them. Thanks.
Is there going to be a release of SBS 2008 that includes Exchange 2010? I want to take this into consideration as I might purchase SBS for the premium edition to get Sql Server at a much more cost effective rate but it feels like I would be getting shorted if I purchase SBS 2008 and receive Exchange 2007 since it is now outdated to 2010.
I'm trying to open two PowerPoint 2007 documents, and they are open, but they're STUCK in the same window. I can't look at both presentations simultaneously, which is what I want to do. I want to open each presentation in ITS OWN, SEPARATE WINDOW, like in MS-Word how you can have two documents open and they'd be in two separate, draggable windows. I want OUT of the MDI and just have two completely separate windows!
How?

Hi,
I have a brand new windows 2008 server (64 bit) with a brand new installation of Office 2007, fully patched with all windows updates etc.
Every time I try to run any of the office apps it crashes immediately, even in safe mode.
the only remotely useful information I get is:
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Data: 00000008
If I Run in compatibility mode for windows XP, everything is fine.
Anyone ever seen this before? I've tried turning off DEP but that made no difference either
Thanks
Tim
I would like to create a bullet point powerpoint in a text file (or Word document) and then import it into Powerpoint 2007
Slide 1 title
- bullet 1
- bullet 2
- subpoint
- bullet 3
Slide 2 title
- bullet 1
- bullet 2
I find that powerpoint makes one think too much about form to the exclusion of content.
Answers of the form Don't use Powerpoint might not go down to well with our corporate presentation style police !
I am reading a Microsoft word document 2007 and i keep seeing all this extra noise in the document.
For example:
Instead of seeing a link to google, i will see: {HYPERLINK http://www.google.com}
Instead of seeing table of contents, i will see {TOC \0 1-2}
any idea whats going on?
In PowerPoint (2007), it is possible to print multiple slides on a paper as a handout. However, there is quite a lot of whitespace in between them and around them.
Is there another way to enlarge the slides (I'm using the "6 per page" option)? And I don't mean "Adjust to paper size" (or whatever that's called in English), because the difference is just minimal.
Is it possible to have two bibliographies in Word 2007? I want to use the first one as a reference list to external references and the second one to be a list of my own appendices.

I have a document with multiple footnotes, some of which continue from page to page. The footnote separator has been customized for both 'continues on next page' and continues from previous page. However, on 1 particular page, the separator shows saying the footnote continues from previous page, but a brand new footnote follows. Is there a way to edit/delete the separator on 1 particular page only? (Word 2007)
I'm trying to find a way to flatten images in a MS Word 2007 document. I want the images that have text/labels placed/layered on top of them to be merged into a single image. Are there any tools or AddIns for Word that can do this? With a 100+ page document I'm trying to avoid a manual process... I can't believe Word doesn't have a feature or option hidden somewhere that can do this out of the box.
Hello,
We have just added a new domain in our forest. We have had OCS 2007 R2 (standard) up and running in our forest for some time. However those domains were already present when we did all of the prep work (schema, forest, & domain)
We will not be adding a new OCS Server in the new domain (just pointing users to the existing box). Do I need to run the domain prep again for the new domain?
Thanks.
I want to make use of an "external reference" in Word. (for anyone that knows AutoCAD, I want XREF abilities in Word)
Essentially I have a custom "header" that I want included in a whole pile of documents... that all reference a single file... such that if my address, logo, tagline, phone, fax or email changes, I update the one file, and all of the other 101 files that use it automatically update when I next open/use them.
I'm using Office 2007 if that makes any difference.
In PowerPoint 2007, there seems to be no way of changing the resolution slide (only the aspect ratio and the output resolution can be chnaged?).
If this is the case, then how do I optimize an inserted video for playback using an HD projector?
Can I simply insert a video at high resolution and scale it down to fit the slide? Will these extra pixels come to use if the output resolution is high?
Thanks!
I'm planning on cloning a Windows XP install, and am a little confused about sysprep. I know that it blanks out the XP product key, but what about other software?
If I install Office 2007 and enter a product key, then use sysprep and create an image, will I be able to enter a new product key in clones I create from the image? Or will they all have duplicate product keys?
This happens when I insert a page break at the end of a page 1, say. The number of the first paragraph on the next page, page 2, appears next to the Page Break line at the bottom of page 1. This happens in both Word 2003 and 2007.
Hi,
MS Word 2007 files have a property page for entering details like summary and title. This is displayed when you hover over the documents on Desktop. Now on my Windows XP SP2 computer, inside Windows Explorer, it shows the special properties for all such files from Desktop, but not from the Network Drives. This is a big problem when I have a large collection of Word documents all in one folder.
How can I display these special properties (infotips) for documents in my network drives ?
Thanks :)
I need a table in Word 2007, which needs to be on every page of the document. It is actually not a table per se, but a frame with three columns. The problem is it cannot interfere with editing, so I'm trying to avoid just inserting a lot of tables, and for now am using a made up table, made of lines, which I've putted in header field over the entire page.
Is there a better way to do it then this?
We use a resource calendar to register holidays in. Is it possible to back date at meeting?
The resource is running on a Exchange 2007, as a meeting room.
We are evaluating system center operations manager 2007 R2 product, and would like to know what all roles can be combined onto single server.
Like root management server and reporting servers can be on one box or not?
my environment is like 450 servers mostly Exchange and Domain Controllers plus few OCS servers.
*the title needs some more work, yeah ... *
I changed my Normal template in word (actually, someone changed it for me). How can I change it back to Normal - the one that comes with Word 2007?
I have a lot of Excel sheets for all sorts of things - but none has ever acted up like this one here:
This used to be a totally normal Excel 2007 sheet which I was able to resize, maximize etc. - but not anymore. What happened? What can I do to "undo" whatever I did to it.
Any ideas?? I tried to share / undo sharing, I tried to protect / unprotect the sheet - nothing seems to work....
