• ChangePassword control does not work on unauthenticated user

  Not sure what's misconfigured somewhere or whatever. An authenticated user can change his password, but for an unauthenticated user, clicking on the Change Password button does not do anything. No error is shown either. Any ideas?

• Any good source of explanatory documentation on ColorMatrix?

  I'd like to try using ColorMatrix, but am only able to find examples that convert an image to grayscale. And even then, they tend to be presented as a chunk of 'magic numbers' code with no explanation. Does anyone know of a 'tutorial' on how to use ColorMatrix? For example I'd be interested in converting a grayscale image to a color image, where white == transparent, and black = a solid color, with gray pixels somewhere in between. Could ColorMatrix do that?

  Hi, Senario: Masterpage with a UserControl and a child ASPX page In the past when using this senario I've used an Interface as a way to pass a value from the UserControl (embedded in a master page) to the masterpage code behind then consume that value in the child aspx page. My question is now that asp.net 4 have arrived is this still a good way to achieve this or is there another or perhaps better way to do it?   The full error is: Message: Mysqli statement execute error : Can't create/write to file '/var/www/zendApp/backup/mysql/1268733580_name.sql' (Errcode: 13) I have tried several things already with the /var/www/ZendApp/backup/mysql directory $chmod 777 mysql $chmod 1777 mysql $chown root:root mysql $chown mysql:mysql mysql But nothing helps. What am I doing wrong here? Do I have to tell mysql somewhere that I can write to that directory?

  In a previous question I asked possible programatic ways of maximising the largest block allocatable on the LOH. I'm still seeing the problems, but now I'm trying to get my head around why the LOH seems to grow and shrink in size, yet I'm still seeing OutOfMemoryExceptions that tally with what others have reported as being due to LOH fragmentation. Why might one call to, for example, StringBuilder.EnsureCapacity throw an OutOfMemoryException for me, but another call from somewhere else result in the LOH expanding in size (according to the performance counters, it is growing and shrinking)?

  I've had a bunch of EAGAIN's from trying to fork() or spawning threads, which lead me to believe that I'm leaking resources somewhere. Is it possible, in POSIX, to get the following from inside the process itself: number of active pthreads number of active child processes number of active pipes number of active sockets (or maybe this and pipes would be counted as file descriptors?) Or do these have to be counted manually? There's already counters for them, but I think one of them are leaking.
