• managing IB objects without iboutlets

  i have got 24 buttons in my project.I need to manage them but I don't want to get my MainViewController polluted by 24 declarations of pointers, properties & synthesizes. i was thinking about using buttonPushed functions and do it like: -(IBAction)buttonPushed:(id)sender{ UIbutton *button=sender; [buttons addObjectAtIndex:[sender tag]]; } my question is:is sender a pointer to the IBObject?

  I have richTextBox1, and here is the contents: line one from my textbox is this, and i want this to be normal, arial, 8 point non-bold font line two, i want everything after the | to be bolded... | this is bold line three: everything in brackets i (want) to be the color (Red) line 4 is "this line is going to be /slanted/ or with italics and so on, basically if I know how to do what I mentioned above, I'll know everything I need to know to complete my project.   Hi I have project, this contains header files like. #import "Three20/TTButton.h" #import "Three20/TTStyle.h" #import "Three20/TTStyleSheet.h" #import "Three20/TTView.h" #import "Three20/TTShape.h" but i am getting no such file, directory error. But i can see those TTButton.h,TTStyle.h... are inside the Three20 Folder. Please Help me, thanks in advance.

• HTML5 elements working in Chrome but not Safari or Firefox?

  Hi, I'm using the HTML5 elements and in a project i'm working on (see it here) and the css seems to be working fine in Chrome. However, it doesn't appear to be working in Safari or Firefox (I haven't tested IE, but I'd imagine it's the same), and the page layout is all over the place. Any ideas why this may be? I know Firefox and Safari both support these elements, and Safari is webkit-based like Chrome, so I can't figure out what the problem is.

• why my C++ output executable is so big?

  I have a rather simple C++ project, which uses boost::regex library. The output I'm getting is 3.5Mb in size. As I understand I'm statically linking all boost .CPP files, including all functions/methods. Maybe it's possible somehow to instruct my linker to use only necessary elements from boost, not all of them? Thanks.

• Overinclusion of libraries C++

  I'm reading about how to put a makefile together, but no-one seems to mention what to do if your files require different sets of libraries, they all seem to use the same set of libraries for each file. Since it seems unlikely that every single file has the same libraries, I take it the list they use must amalgamate all of the libraries required across the project. I just wanted to know if there's any downside to including too many libraries, or if the compiler works out which ones are needed and ignores the rest? Thanks

• Looking for a Python IDE with good support for libraries (Twisted).

  I'm looking for a Python IDE that can help me easily locate and manage and use the libraries on my system (Ubuntu). Specifically Twisted. Code completion is important including the symbols I import. (I've so far had a look at PyDev as well as OpenKomodo, but while both offer code completion for default Python concepts, I wasn't able to get either to import Twisted into my project and was thus getting reference errors.) Usual disclaimer: I don't like EMACS or vi, please, nothing regarding those.

  I wonder which option is more stable (leaving performance aside) and is more widely used (I assume the widely used one is the most stable): apache - mod_wsgi apache - mod_fcgid apache - mod_proxy_ajp apache - mod_proxy_http for a project that will serve REST services with small json formatted input and output messages and web pages, up to 100 req/s. • Cannot debug in visual studio 2008

  I recently reopened a project and on trying to debug the breakpoint only shows as a red circle and gives the following message "The breakpoint will not currently be hit. No symbols have been loaded for this document" I notice there are no PB files in the bin directory. I presume I need to rebuild the debug files. Does anybody know how to go about this? Any help much appreciated.
