  • Making dynamic images have static filenames

    My website currently has various links to a php script that generates the images dynamically. For example, the link may say "img source="/dynamic_images.php?type=pie-chart&color=red" Obviously, this is not great for SEO. I'd like to somehow make the filenames of these links appear to be static, and use a solution (like Mod-Rewrite) to ensure that the images can still be dynamically created. I suppose I could have something like "img src="average-profits-in-scuba-diving-industry.png?type=pie-chart&color=red" (and use Mod-Rewrite to take care of changing the filename prefix to dynamic_images.php), but I'm afraid that the search engines would shy away from the querystring on the end of the image filename. Any solutions? Thanks in advance.

    So here's my problem, there's a small white space showing up under the pictures on my tumblr, but the space only shows up under photosets, not under photos. I have on my CSS: #post{padding:10px;} #post img{display:block;} And then on my html: {block:Posts} <div id="post"> {block:Photo}<img src="{PhotoURL-500}"/>{/block:Photo} {block:Photoset}{Photoset-500}{/block:Photoset} </div> {/block:Posts} But the photoset adds a 3px space under the images, turning the padding to 13px for no reason. Can someone help me figure out this?

  • Python to C# Conversion of RGBA values not working

    I'm currently converting some python code to C#, and I'm having an issue with the RGBA C# libraries # Original Python Code: d = math.sqrt( (x - size/2.0)**2 + (y - size/2.0)**2 ) rgbVal = int(200*d/md + 50) rgba = (0,0,0, 255 - rgbVal) img.putpixel((x,y), rgba) // My C# Code double d = Math.Sqrt(Math.Pow((x - DotSize / 2.0), 2) + Math.Pow((y - DotSize / 2.0), 2)); int rgbVal = (int) (200 * d / md + 50); Color color = Color.FromArgb(255 - rgbVal, 0, 0, 0); // ** ERROR ** img.SetPixel(x,y, color); At both instances of the code d is equal to 106 and md is equal to 53. However the resulting rgbVal value is 450. This would obviously mean that 255 - 450 is -195, which causes an error to be thrown as each individual value must be between 0 and 255. Anyone have any idea how I can fix this. Please note that the data is the same when running both the python and C# versions.

This is my code: private string GrabImage(string htmlContent) { String firstImage; HtmlAgilityPack.HtmlDocument htmlDoc = new HtmlAgilityPack.HtmlDocument(); htmlDoc.LoadHtml(htmlContent); HtmlAgilityPack.HtmlNode imageNode = htmlDoc.DocumentNode.SelectSingleNode("//img"); if (imageNode != null) { return firstImage = imageNode.ToString(); } else return firstImage=" "; } But it gets null in htmlDoc, will I use the HtmlDocument type even if I'm trying to parse the HTML from a string ? P.S btw is it the correct way of grabbing the first instance of image tag from my HTML string?

    I have a long list of li's. <ul> <li> <img src="test.jpg"> </li> <li> <img src="test.jpg"> </li> //etc Each li has this styling: width: 10%; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle; When I get to more than 10 li's in a row, they go on to the next row. Is this the correct way to do it? or should I wrap each 10 li's into something that breaks the line? What the best/correct method? i intialy chose this method as it would be easily to loop out data from a database.

    I'm having some difficulty figuring out what is going on and how to fix it. I have some divs that contain some icons that are causing a width problem when displaying tabular data. If I remove the div's that contain the icons, the row width ends up the way I want it (See the firefox example below).     Hi, I need to take data from external file and format it, the problem is, i want to have that data stored into a variable. Load method works for me, because i need to load not the whole document, but just a part of it, but then again, i want to load to variable and not to some dom element. $.get can do this, but it doesn't support selectors. Is there any way I could make this? Now examples: Mine external file consists of a table, which has format like this: <table><tr><td><img /></td></tr><tr><td><a></a></td><td><span></span></td></tr></table> I need to extract img, a and span tags because I need them to be displayed in different order than they're now. So, is there any chance for me that i could make this work? Thanks.

    I have an application which I'm adding pictures and these are automatically converted to binary and stored in a single file. how can I save several images, I keep in an XML file start and size of each set of refente to an image byte. But it has several images in bytes, whenever I try to select a different set of bytes just opening the same image. I would like your help to be able to fix this and open different images.
