    For some reason I am missing makecert.exe on my system. I searched the whole hard drive and it's not there. In particular, it's not in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\bin where I believe it's supposed to be. I haven't found any articles on this topic on the Internet. Any ideas what's going on?

    I realize Internet Explorer ignores the disabled attribute, but I'm not seeing a way to create, via the HtmlHelper, a SelectListItem that will spit out the following HTML: <option disabled="disabled">don't click this</option> The only properties SelectListItem has are: new SelectListItem{ Name = "don't click this", Value = string.Empty, Selected = false } The only option I see is to Subclass the SelectListItem to add an Enabled property to get the value to the view Not use the HTML helper for DropDownList Create a new HtmlHelper extension that accepts my new EnablableSelectList and adds my disabled attribute.

    I have a UIImageView that starts off with an image (loading.png) specified in IB. When my app starts, a new image is downloaded from the internet to replace the existing one. I do the following to replace the image: if(object.imageView.image != nil){ [object.imageView.image release]; object.imageView.image = nil; } object.imageView.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"downloadedimage.png"]; Is this the right way to re-set an image? I am getting EXC_BAD_ACCESS when doing so.

    Hi , i'm developing an application which uses audio streaming. For streaming audio from internet i'm using the AudioStreamer class. The audio streamer has four state isPlaying, isPaused ,isWaiting, and isIdle . My problem is that when the audio streamer is in the state "isWaiting" and at that time if i get a phone call Audio queue fails giving the error "Audio queue start failed." Any has solution for this? help....

    I'm trying to find a way to write to a text file from as2. I don't want to use any php or asp because my app needs to run without an internet connection. As3 has FileReference.save() and judging by the amount of searching I've done, as2 doesn't have that simple of a solution. Does anyone have a way even if its hacky to write to a txt file from as2?

    Hi there, Suppose I have this very simple method in Store's model: def geocode_address loc = Store.geocode(address) self.lat = loc.lat self.lng = loc.lng end If I want to write some test scripts that aren't affected by the geocoding service, which may be down, have limitations or depend on my internet connection, how do I mock out the geocoding service? If I could pass a geocoding object into the method, it would be easy, but I don't see how I could do it in this case. Thanks! Tristan

    Hi all, I am testing my web application's security and all of my pages are served over ssl. The issue I am having is the certificate is not trusted as firefox starts in a new profile each time. I was reading on OpenQA's site about a jar and importing the certificate, but that is only for Internet Explorer and Firefox should automatically be handled.   • System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser login dialog doesn't appear

    When I navigate to an intranet site requiring windows authentication, the WinForms WebBrowser control isn't displaying a login dialog. But it will display (after refreshing the page) if I first open Internet Explorer and view the same page. Also, if I make the URL refer to my local IIS instance, the login dialog will appear. Any ideas? Thanks!
