    Hi, I have created jar file which includes my .class , manifest file and dependency jar files like jar cfmv custadvicejar.jar mymanifest.txt Gchreportsautomation Bean Utils jxl.jar ojdbc14.jar where custadvicejar.jar - is my jar file name mymanifest.txt contains Main-Class: Gchreportsautomation.GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_DAO "Gchreportsautomation" is the package name contains "GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_DAO.class" [This class is my starting point of my application] Gchreportsautomation/ GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_DAO.class "Bean" is the package name contains "GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_Bean.class" Bean/ GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_Bean.class "Utils" is the package name contains "Utils.class" Utils/ Utils.class and jxl.jar and ojdbc14.jar are jar files required for my application which i kept in parent directory of the .class files like D:\Excalcreation /Gchreportsautomation/ GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_DAO.class /Bean/ GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_Bean.class /Utils/ Utils.class /jxl.jar /ojdbc.jar while running the application i got error like Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: jxl.format.CellFormat i know this is because of class-path error. how to rectify it. I would like to have the object in a seperate file, so I only need to update the file in stead of the JS file (otherwise it will be very big). I'm using JQUERY.     I am trying to implement a linux shell that supports piping. I have already done simple commands, commands running in background, redirections, but piping is still missing. I have already read about it and seen some snippets of code, but still haven't been able to sort out a working solution. So, before being able to implement three and more different commands in pipeline, I would like to be able to compute "ls names.txt | sort" or something similiar, in which names.txt is a file of names alfabetically unordered.   • rsync creating thousands of ..ds_store files from mounted volume

    hello there - been using rsync on os x to sync all our website admins. it was working fine until the os x 10.6.3 update! Now it creates thousands of ZeroK folders.   • unformatted input to a std::string instead of c-string from binary file.

    ok i have this program working using c-strings. I am wondering if it is possible to read in blocks of unformatted text to a std::string? I toyed arround with if >> but this reads in line by line. I've been breaking my code and banging my head against the wall trying to use std::string, so I thought it was time to enlist the experts. Here's a working program you need to supply a file "a.txt" with some content to make it run. i tried to fool around with: in.read (const_cast<char *>(memblock.c_str()), read_size); but it was acting odd. I had to do std::cout << memblock.c_str() to get it to print. and memblock.clear() did not clear out the string. anyway, if you can think of a way to use STL I would greatly appreciate it.   • Why am I getting unexpected output trying to write a hash structure to a file?

    I have a hash in which I store the products a customer buys (%orders). It uses the product code as key and has a reference to an array with the other info as value. At the end of the program, I have to rewrite the inventory to the updated version (i.e. subtract the quantity of the bought items) This is how I do rewrite the inventory: sub rewriteInventory{ open(FILE,'>inv.txt'); foreach $key(%inventory){ print FILE "$key\|$inventory{$key}[0]\|$inventory{$key}[1]\|$inventory{$key}[2]\n" } close(FILE); } where $inventory{$key}[x] is 0 → Title, 1 → price, 2 → quantity. The problem here is that when I look at inv.txt afterwards, I see things like this: CD-911|Lady Gaga - The Fame|15.99|21 ARRAY(0x145030c)||| BOOK-1453|The Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown|14.75|12 ARRAY(0x145bee4)||| Where do these ARRAY(0x145030c)||| entries come from? Or more important, how do I get rid of them?

  • Need help parsing file/writing script

    Hey all, I have been doing nothing but web development over the last few years and haven't written any Java or C++ in what feels like forever. I don't necessarily need to use these languages, so I'm entirely open to suggestion. I was given an email list by a client to import into their mailchimp account yesterday and unfortunately, Mailchimp couldn't read the file. It's a text file, but I don't believe it's tab delimited (which would make this much, much easier for me). A small portion of the file (I've changed last names and email addresses) can be viewed here: http://sparktoignite.com/patients.txt If anyone has suggestions on how I can get this into a Mailchimp readable format (csv, tab delimited txt, excel) please let me know. I feel like 3 years ago I would've been able to do this in a matter of minutes, but given that I haven't touched anything other than RoR, PHP, and jQuery for the last few years, I don't know where to start.   • Scraped HTML is not written at the beginning of text file.

    Currently, I'm scraping the HTML code of a page, and writing it to a text file. My problem is, why must there be empty spaces or empty lines at the beginning? The HTML codes written to the txt file do not seem to start at the beginning of the text file. This means that the '<' is not located at the position 0 of the txt file. After a few runs, my HTML is always written a few lines down inside the text file. Can anyone tell me why?

    How do I pull out the filename from a full path using regular expressions in C#? Say I have the full path C:\CoolDirectory\CoolSubdirectory\CoolFile.txt. How do I get out CoolFile.txt using the .NET flavor of regular expressions? I'm not really good with regular expressions, and my RegEx buddy and me couldn't figure this one out. Also, in the course of trying to solve this problem, I realized that I can just use System.IO.Path.GetFileName, but the fact that I couldn't figure out the regular expression is just making me unhappy and it's going to bother me until I know what the answer is.

  • Importing a large delimited file to a MySQL table

    I have this large (and oddly formatted txt file) from the USDA's website. It is the NUT_DATA.txt file. But the problem is that it is almost 27mb! I was successful in importing the a few other smaller files, but my method was using file_get_contents which it makes sense why an error would be thrown if I try to snag 27+ mb of RAM. So how can I import this massive file to my MySQL DB without running into a timeout and RAM issue? I've tried just getting one line at a time from the file, but this ran into timeout issue. Using PHP 5.2.0. Here is the old script (the fields in the DB are just numbers because I could not figure out what number represented what nutrient, I found this data very poorly document.     Hello, I have the following code in my C# program: OpenFileDialog fDialog = new OpenFileDialog(); fDialog.Title = "Open a file"; fDialog.Filter = "NCF files (*.ncf)|*.ncf|All files (*.*)|*.*|No Extensions (*.)|*."; I want to be able to have the user pick from the following: .NCF (files with .NCF extension only) *.* (all files) and files that have no extensions such as: readme (with no .txt) I know *.* will do this, but it also displays the .NCF, .TXT, and all other files in the same directory. I just want to be able to display filenames that have no extensions. Filtering with *. does not do the trick. Is there a way I can do this with C#? Thanks.

I read a .txt file containing russian text, and starting from a list of letters russian to english (ru=en), I loop the list and I WOULD like to replace russian characters with english characters. The problem is: I can see in the debug the right reading of the russian and the right reading of the english, but using myWord = myWord.Replace(ruChar, enChar), the string is not replaced.
