  • Drupal, Views: can I use 1 filter, for many CCK fields ?

    Hi, I'm using Views in Drupal. I want an exposed filter selecting the ndoes containing a specific word. But I noticed I cannot search more then one CCK field per filter. Since I want to expose it, I want an unique text-input field for all CCK Fields: is that possible ? At the moment I can only add a new filter for each CCK field. Thanks

  • Background text in a Bootstrap WELL

    I have a problem putting a text in the background of a Bootstrap well. I first posted the problem in this question, but that was a too simple representation of my problem. I'm looking for an effect created in this jFiddle, a text in the background of a menu. The example works how I want to to work, but when I put this in a Bootstrap Well I get this (http://jsfiddle.net/aBqw8/21/). The background text disappears, it's probably behind the Well. When I remove the background color from the well I can see the text. If I remove the "position:relative" from the span it shows the title, but then it interferes with the menu, which is what I am trying to avoid. Thanks for your help!

  • Magento - Using alternative "reviews count" on category list page

    Hi All I noticed that on the category list page, the number of reviews (pulled from frontend/base/default/template/review/helper/summary_short.phtml) lists the full amount of reviews for an item, not the amount available to the store view you’re on. So, for example (using the sample data) the Samsung MM-A900M Ace has 5 reviews - however, when you click that link and are taken to the reviews page, it actually just has 2 (as only 2 are available to the English view). But on the reviews page, the review count is correct and says 2 reviews (this time pulled from frontend/base/default/template/review/product/view/count.phtml). Is there any way to use this review count on the category list?

    hi, I cannot solve this issue with the video at this link: http://www.sanstitre.ch/drupal/portfolio?tid[0]=66 It displays correctly in all browsers but not in IE8 or IE7. The IE8 debugger doesn't give me any error message. If I'm not wrong the video object is not added in IE. So, for some reason the Drupal module, jQuery Media and the library SWFObject are not adding it in IE browsers... any tip ? thanks

    hi, I'm loading from my main page an external js file, with a function. I have a flash file in the main page invoking the javascript function. Everything worked very well until when the javascript code was in the main file, but when I moved javascript to an external file the function seems not called anymore. So... there is no way to move the javascript code to an external file ? Or any other solution ? thanks

The fields are optional, but if I don't fill them, I see them on the page anyway, and the content is .. i.e. FieldName: <br /> I would like to make them disappear instead.. I found out the problem is that CCKEditor add a even if I've never typed in that window. How can I disable this ? thanks

  • web-development: how do you usually handle the "under costruction" page"?

    hi, I was wondering what's the best way to switch a website to a temporary "under costruction" page and switch it back to the new version. For example, in a website, my customer decided to switch from Joomla to Drupal and I had to create a subfolder for the new CMS, and then move all the content to the root folder. 1) Moving all the content back to the root folder always create some problems with file permissions, links, etc... 2) Creating a rewrite rule in .htaccess or forward with php is not a solution because another url is shown including the top folder. 3) Many host services do not allow to change the root directory, so this is not an option since I don't have access to apache config file.     hi, I had to comment these lines from the htaccess files in my main Drupal folder and in sites folder # Don't show directory listings for URLs which map to a directory. #Options -Indexes # Follow symbolic links in this directory. #Options +FollowSymLinks ...in order to not get a 500 Internal Error on the new server. Can I leave them uncommented or am I going to have security issues ? ps. I've also set all content in files folder 777 permission. Is this ok ? thanks

  • Using AWS S3 for photo storage

    I'm going to be using S3 to store user uploaded photos. Obviously, I wont be serving the image files to user agents without resizing them down. However, not one size would do, as some thumbnails will be smaller than other larger previews. So, I was thinking of making a standard set of dimensions scaling from the lowest 16x16 to some highest 1024x1024. Is this a good way to solve this problem? What if I need a new size later on? How would you solve this?

  • SQL Server 2003: how can I assign a name to the SUM column ?

    hi, how can I assign a column name to the SUM column ? i.e. select OwnerUserId, SUM(PostScore) INTO Experts from ... I get this error: An object or column name is missing or empty. For SELECT INTO statements, verify each column has a name. For other statements, look for empty alias names. Aliases defined as "" or [] are not allowed. Change the alias to a valid name. I guess because the column containing the results of SUM has not name. thanks

    hi, I've installed Taxonomy SuperSelect module in my Drupal. Now my customer can not only type the tag for some content types pages but also select multiple tags using checkboxes. I've also ordered the chekboxes alphabetically. However few days ago, I noticed that he can't anymore manually type the tags.. see picture: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/72686/multiSelect.png Can you help me how to solve this issue ?   • Should repeated use of the camera crash an app?

    I have an app that builds a slideshow from user images. They can grab from their library or take a picture. I have found that repeated use of grabbing an image from the library is fine. But repeated use of taking a picture causes erratic behavior. I have been getting crashes but mostly what happens seems to be a reloading of the view after "didFinishPickingMediaWithInfo", which messes things up. I have no leaks and it seems to be releasing properly after each picture is taken. I am resizing the image and saving it in a data base. Is anyone else running into this situation? Was the camera not designed to be called this often?
