    hi, I need to extract data from my mysql database into multiple text files. I have a table with 4 columns: UserID, UserName, Tag, Score. I need to create a text file for each Tag, with the userID, the userName and score (ordered by score) i.e. Tag1.txt 234922 John 35 234294 David 205 392423 Patrick 21 Tag2.txt 234922 John 35 234294 David 205 392423 Patrick 21 and so on...     Hello! I wrote my own simple Queryable provider which retrieves data from a database. Now I need to bind this data to a BindingSource and when the new item is added to BindingSource some event or method must be called for handling the add operation. I have tried to implement IBingingList on a List class which is returned when the query is completed, but the AddNew method is not called when the item is added? How can I implement this scenario?

    I downloaded wamp server, then went to the phpMyAdmin panel and messed around with the privileges of my database, and I gave a new password and username, and now I am getting this message MySQL said: Documentation 1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) I cannot acces my server anymore. ...I tried to reinstall the wamp server and I even did a system reset for a previous date but nothing helped. I tried to find the configuration php in the myadmin library but no luck. Please help!

  • Umbraco CMS - keep getting logged out in ie, safari, chrome but not ff

    I have a few Umbraco sites running on my server - but i'm getting logged out when using everything else than Firefox when using umbraco. I'm able to log in and after 10-15 sec's i'm being automatically logged out again. How can that be and how do i fix it? :( It's a win 2008 server using MSSQL database and umbraco 4.0.3 btw is running on integrated app pool and .net version 2.0.50727

    I have a database full of text fields that look like this: (paragraph of normal text) image:blog/clownboy.jpg (another paragraph) I'm trying to write a view helper for Rails that will take one of these big blocks of text, find bits like "image:blog/clownboy.jpg" and replace them with the corresponding <img src="blog/clownboy.jpg"> (without disturbing the surrounding whitespace) before outputting it to the user. I've been trying for an hour or so now, but I'm new to Ruby and the regular expressions are still a bit beyond me.

    I can create an Access mdb and add a linked table to an Sql Server database via ODBC. If I change the Sql Server that the ODBC is connecting to with the ODBC control panel applet the mdb still connects to the original Sql Server until Access is restarted. Is there a way to relink these linked server tables without restarting Access? EDIT: I would like to do this in code

    I am looking into solutions for providing multiple login methods to my site. I found rpxnow.com and they map user accounts from all the different networks. My question is how do they know that I am user1 on twitter and bigdude2 on facebook? I'm hoping it goes beyond email lookups. The end result I want is a unique user in my database no matter what account they sign in with, dupes are a no-no, but most likely inevitable I am guessing.

    Hey everyone! I'm using a Paypal add to cart button for a simple ecommerce website. I had a Paypal IPN handler written in PHP that was successfully working for 'Buy it Now' buttons and purchasing one item at a time. I would run a database query each time to update the store's inventory to reflect the purchase. Now I'm upgrading this store to a 'cart' version so people could check out with multiple items at a time. Would anyone be able to tell me, in general, how my IPN handler would need to be altered to accommodate this?   • Replace this Hex chars from string in PHP

    I'm generating an XML from data that comes from database (and some JSON feeds). I'm having some problems with some texts that contains some hex chars that are breaking my XML. For example, see this screenshot of the error I get from Chrome: I identified the hex characters that are giving me problems (I believe they're called control characters). And these are: 0x03 0x05 0x16 0x0E How can I replace those characters with PHP before printing them on my XML output? Thanks!

I need the tree traversal algorithm in such a way that a node can have more than 1 parent, if it's possilbe (found a great article here: Storing Hierarchical Data in a Database).
