How about non-programming related books that can help you become a better programmer or developer? It would also be interesting to know why they would help. My first choice would be Sun Tzu's "Art of War" (however cliché), because it made it obvious that the success of any project depends on the strength of its weakest link (and warfare is a big project).

    I am currently designing an e-commerce site, and unfortunately my PHP is garbage at the moment so open source CMS's are out of the question. I am debating between Joomla and Big Commerce and as the title states I am unsure of whether to build first or try the CMS first to see what limitations I will face.     Recently, I have seen in a couple sites around Australia's meta data AGLS tags. <meta name="AGLS.Audience" scheme="agls-audience" content="All"/> <meta name="DC.Publisher" scheme="AglsAgent" content="Hyundai"/> I have never seen this kind of mark-up before and discovered: http://www.agls.gov.au/ Just wondering whether there is a big community / support out there for the adopting these tags?   • Saving project (build) settings in Eclipse CDT [migrated]

    Is there an option somewhere in CDT (Juno) where I can set customized "Release" configurations for my projects? All I want to do for now is to be able to create a new C++ project and have by default the -std=c++11 and -std=gnu11options for the compilers and -s for the linker, and maybe a few other optimization flags. It's not a big hassle to do it every time for every new program, but I was just wondering, since I've been creating a lot of small programs to get to know C++ better.
