    I'm making a tool to track calls to house/senate reps, and I have 2 tables of importance here: reps rep_id rep_name # and more info comments rep_id status # enum about result of contact comment I want to query for all reps joining the most recent associated comments and in some cases joining comments of a specific status, but there might not be any comments associated with that rep yet.     i want to make a button disabled if a datagrid is empty and it should be enabled when there is atleast 1 entry.the entries in the grid are made at runtime.I tried this this is the button: <mx:Button id="update" label="Update Contact" enabled="{isButtonEnabled()}"/> and the function is defined as where dg_contact is the datagrid: public function isButtonEnabled():Boolean { if(dg_contact.selectedIndex==-1) { return false; } else { return true; } } where am i going wrong?

  • Developing GWT without a net connection?

    Hi, When I'm developing my gwt project without a network connection, is there a way to detect this? For example, I have a widget that has an Image in it, and the widget does not display until the Image url request times out (takes a long time, like 2 minutes?). Also, whenever I refresh the page in hosted mode, it doesn't finish loading for about a minute, when no network connection - seems like gwt is trying to contact some external website and blocking on that until it times out too - making things really slow - any way to stop that too? Thanks

    From today, when I tried to run an app in NetBeans on a 2.3.3 Android platform, it shows me that: Failed to allocate memory: 8 This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. and the Emulator doesn't want to start. This is for the first time when I see it, and google has no asnwers for this, I tried even with 2 versions of NetBeans 6.9.1 and 7.0.1, still the same error.
