    Hi, What constitutes a good implementation of the GetHashCode method? I did some googling, and found some goodlines (MSDN) but it seems like the logic just manipulates two numbers stored as fields in the class. Is the actual logic this simple to implement this method?

    hi, i am doing a shopping cart.i had a variable $total.when i add 1st product of price 200 i get $total=200 , when i add 2nd product of price 100 i get $total=200100 when i add 3rd product of price 400 i get $total=200100400 . i want to get $total=700. how to fix this problem? please help me........ thanks, Hmwd

    Hi, Is there a way to get the length of a collection from this? ParallelQuery<string> Lines = File.ReadAllLines("Topics.txt").AsParallel<string>(); This has no length property. There is a count method but it takes a Func. If I don't pass a Func paremeter, I could get all the properties in the collection, but how could I not pass one in? Thanks

  • Looking for a script/tool to dump a list of installed features and programs on Windows Server 2008 R

    Hi, The same compiled .Net / C++ / Com program does different things on two seemingly same computers. Both have DOZENS of things installed on them. I would like to figure out what the difference between the two is by looking at an ASCII diff. Before that I need to "serialize" the list of installed things in a plain readable format - sorted alphabetically + one item per line. A Python script would be ideal, but I also have Perl, PowerShell installed. Thank you.

    Hi guys, I've got this table CREATE TABLE `subevents` ( `id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `title` varchar(150) DEFAULT NULL, `content` text, `class` tinyint(4) NOT NULL DEFAULT '1', PRIMARY KEY (`id`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM Each row can have a different value in the 'class' field. I'd like to select any number of rows, ordered randomly, as long as the sum of the values in the 'class' field is equal to 100. How could I accomplish it directly in the MySQL query without doing it later in PHP? Thanks everybody!

    Hi all Say I got 3 entities: Business, Employee and Payment. A payment has a foreign key to an Employee, while the Employee has an foreign key to a business. Now, I want to create a query which gives me all payments for a given business. I really don't have a clue about how to do this - I guess I want something like: mySession.CreateCriteria<Payment>() .Add(Criterion.Expression.Eq(/* Employee_FK => Employee.Business_FK == BusinessID */); Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

  • ASP.NET MVC subdomain shows folder name

    Hi, I'm using godaddy shared hosting, with IIS7, Integrated mode, and published up a bog standard MVC2 app to dev.lazygekko.com created with Visual Web Developer 2010. It all works, however when any of the links are clicked, they point to dev.lazygekko.com/dev/..., dev being the folder it is pointing at. Can anyone shed some light on what I may be doing wrong?
