I've got the following in /.bashrc
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/bin/jdk1.7.0_03/
export PATH=$PATH:/usr/bin/jdk1.7.0_03/bin
This is fine, if I do $JAVA_HOME I get the directory above.
The problem is if I do java -version I get...
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.11.1) (6b24-1.11.1-4ubuntu3)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b12, mixed mode)
How do I make the official jdk version the right one?
Sorry I'm extremely new to Ubuntu.
Thanks,
David
It's maybe simple but I think about this every time I build a new application.
How do you name the class for the current user of the application and for the orm class of the user table?
Usually I have something like
CurrentUser: Logged-in user, stored in session, info for last activity etc
User: ORM Class (C# EF CodeFirst, but it doesn't matter)
And yes, they could have the same name in different namespaces, but I don't really like that.
Although I have downloaded compiz, ccsm, compiz-plugins, compiz-fusion-plugins-main and compiz-fusion-plugins-extra,compiz-plugins-main-dev,compiz-bcop,compiz-dev .build-essential,libtool,libglu1-mesa-dev,libxss-dev,libcairo2-dev,git-core

I tried:

Today Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for SQL Server 2008 SP3. KB article: KB #2771833 There are 9 fixes listed at the time of writing The build number is 10.00.5828.00 Relevant for @@VERSION between 10.00.5500 and 10.00.5827 It seems clear that Service Pack 2 servicing has been discontinued. So there is even less reason to hold onto those old builds, and every reason to upgrade to Service Pack 3 . As usual, I'll post my standard disclaimer here: these updates are NOT for SQL Server...(read more)
The SQL Server team has released SQL Server 2012 SP2 Cumulative Update #1. This cumulative updates Service Pack 2 to include the fixes from SP1 CU#10 and a few from CU#11, including the fix for the online index rebuild corruption issue I discussed recently on SQLPerformance.com . It also marks the first time in the SQL Server 2012 timeframe that both cumulative update branches are on roughly the same schedule, which makes many of us happy I'm sure. :-) KB Article: KB #2976982 Build # is 11.0.5532...(read more)

Here is another scheduling problem that deals with the allotment of classrooms for various training programs. Your chalenge is to read the source data and build an output result set that shows the weekly schedule of each training topic and the class room in which training is scheduled.
I'm trying to animate multiple(3) entities using one model(IQM format).
It's working but performance is really bad because I'm calling animate function for each entity in my game loop (I think problem is there).
What's the best way to animate multiple entities (with different animation ofc) in OpenGL? I think I can try build one VBO / entity for better performances but I don't think it's the best way to do it.

Just asking people not to use a list of certain words is not prevention from SQL Injection https://homebank.sactocu.org/UA2004/faq-mfa.htm#pp6 To protect yourself from SQL Injection you have to do 1 simple thing. Do not build your SQL statements by concatenating values passed by the user into a string an executing them. If your query has to be dynamic then make sure any values passed by a user are passed as parameters and use sp_executesql in TSQL or a SqlCommand object in ADO.Net...(read more)

Keywords for anyone are the backbone to traffic, it doesn't matter where you place links, how you write articles, and how you build your pages keywords play a huge part in getting traffic to your website (and blog). More and more I receive emails regarding some new internet marketing "free traffic source" of the "best new back linking method" and all these are good and may indeed work in some situations they are somewhat redundant in others.
I'm building an application that uses tweepy (a python library) and when I build it on my local machine it works fine. When I submit it to launchpad though, it sent me a log which has this error: ERROR: Python module tweepy not found.
I found a ppa python-tweepy on launchpad.
So how do I fix this error.
The log from launchpad is here:
