    hi, I am Developing an application in IOS 4.0, and have made several apps in Symbian S60v3, Where i am stuck in IOS is that i want to access a file from the device which is saved from a third party application to some location in Iphone, NOw in the case of symbian i new its in System\Data\xyz\alpha.inf; but in case of IOS i don't know how to access the location.     hi i installed vmware workstation 7.0 in windows,and it working well.i installed mac os 10.4.8 in it as a guest it is alo working well,but while installin mac os 10.6.2 it dont installed and shows an error as "invalid front-side bus freqency 66000000 hz. disablin the cpu." please help me how to solve this and please suggest any link to easyly understand installation if mac os 10.6.2

    Hi, I have installed "Damn Small Linux" on my home computer for doing C development in unix. But the distribution doesn't by default come with the C development environment and I am facing some issues when trying to install the gcc. Is there any other small Linux distribution which by default has the required packages for the C development. And also I don't want additional software which takes up lot of space but still would like to have the graphical environment. Thanks

I ended up doing something else, but the question stayed with me.     Hi, I'm using ruby to sort an array where each element in the array is another array. I have this: Data = Data.SortBy { |Info| info[3] } example data in this column: 3.1 2 5.65 -1 0.4 -9.43 -10.87 -2.3 It should sort this into: 5.65 3.1 2 0.4 -1 -2.3 -9.43 -10.87 But it comes out like this: 5.65 3.1 2 0.4 -1 -10.87 -2.3 -9.43 It's only comparing the first char of the float... not the whole number?

    Hi, I thought what I was trying to do is quite simple, but apparently nothing related to IE is ever simple. I'm using this with javascript and ajax - document.getElementById("calender").innerText=mypostrequest.responseText it works fine in ff and IE7, but not IE8. I suspect it's because the text contains a table, since I have tested it with other text. I cant replace the table. Is there any way to get around this?
