  • Button inside of anchor link works in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer?

    - by Jason
    Everything else in my site seems to be compatible with all browsers except for my links. They appear on the page, but they do not work. My code for the links are as follows- <td bgcolor="#ffffff" height="370" valign="top" width="165"> <p><a href="sc3.html"><button style="width:120;height:25">Super Chem #3</button></a> <a href="91hollywood.html"><button style="width:120;height:25">91 Hollywood</button></a> <a href="sbubba.html"><button style="width:120;height:25">Super Bubba</button></a> <a href="afgoohash.html"><button style="width:120;height:25">Afgoo Hash</button></a> <a href="superjack.html"><button style="width:120;height:25">Super Jack</button></a> <a href="sog.html"><button style="width:120;height:25">Sugar OG</button></a> <a href="91pk91.html"><button style="width:120;height:25">91 x PK</button></a> <a href="jedi1.html"><button style="width:120;height:25">Jedi</button></a></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <a href="http://indynile99.blogspot.com"><button style="width:120;height:25">Blog</button></a> <p>&nbsp;</p> </td> THANKS for the help!

  • What is wrong with my Basic Authentication in FireFox?

    - by Pure.Krome
Hi folks, i'm trying to goto the following url :- http://user1:pass1@localhost:1234/api/users?format=xml nothing to complex. Notice how i've got the username/password in the url? this, i believe, is for basic authentication. When i do that, the Request Headers are MISSING the 'Authorize' header. Er... that's not right :( I have anonymous authentication only setup on the site. I don't want to have anon off and basic turned on .. because not all of the site requires basic.. only a few action methods. So .. why is this not working? Is this something to do with the fact my code is not sending a 401 challenge or some crap? For What It's Worth, my site is ASP.NET MVC1 running on IIS7 (and the same thing happens when i run it on cassini).

  • How to override JS function from a firefox extension?

    - by BruceBerry
Hello, I am trying to intercept calls to document.write for all pages. Setting up the interception inside the page by injecting a script like function overrideDocWrite() { alert("Override called"); document.write = function(w) { return function(s) { alert("special dom"); w.call(this, wrapString(s)); }; }(document.write); alert("Override finished"); } is easy and works, but i would like my extension to setup the interception for each document object from inside the extension. I couldn't find a way to do this. I tried to listen for the "load" event and set up the interception there but it also fails. How do I hook calls to doc.write from an extension?

  • Toolbar to modify displayed html/content in IE / Firefox / Chrome.

    - by JP
Hi, I want to create toolbar, whose functionality would be: Whenever the toolbar is "On/Activated", all pages should be parsed by a function, and the modified html should be displayed. [Example: i) There was this skype toolbar that would recognize phone-numbers in pages and automatically add skype links ii) If you have used MacAfee / Alexa toolbars, they modify the search results page displayed by Google My functionality would a lot simpler though] I want to create this for all browsers (though answers/pointers to any one platform would be appreciated). Please note that I am new to toolbar development, so detailed pointers from basics would be very helpful. I have heard to GreaseMonkey. However, if I can do it in a more "basic" way, it would be very helpful. (Alternately, tips to make a "custom" toolbar using GreaseMonkey would be welcome - though I would like to do away with ability to add scripts, etc. Also I installed greasemonkey and it does show up as a toolbar in FF/IE at all! In IE, there is separate executable to add scripts - I want a standalone toolbar with ON/OFF facility in the browser). Thanks much! Regards, JP

  • is it some bug in firefox or jquery or i doing something wrong?

    - by llamerr
I want to change hidden input value on div click, so i do following: $('#gallery').click(function(){ if ($('input[name=isgallery]').attr('value') == '0') { $('input[name=isgallery]').attr('value', '1') } else { $('input[name=isgallery]').attr('value', '0') } $('#filterform').attr('action',$('#filterform').attr('act')); alert('ok'); $('#filterform').submit(); } ); when it equals 0 i change it to 1 and otherwise but it did not work and following code works: $('#gallery').click(function(){ if ($('input[name=isgallery]').attr('value') == '0') { $('input[name=isgallery]').attr('value', '0') } else { $('input[name=isgallery]').attr('value', '1') } $('#filterform').attr('action',$('#filterform').attr('act')); alert('ok'); $('#filterform').submit(); } ); and also, when i delete the function at all it still works and form submits maybe i have one more handler for this div, but i can't find one you can check it on http://www.4block.org/en/museum/posters and click "gallery view" on top-right

  • Javascript get image height works in all browsers but firefox...please help?

    - by Calvin
So I am fairly new to Javascript (a lot of experience in PHP), but I have this basic script that checks a link that redirects to a URL to see what the image height is. If it is a certain height then it adds one to a variable, otherwise nothing. I would easily do this in PHP but the images are on other servers and not my own so it doesn't work. Anyways, ehre is the script. Let me know if you have any tips. Works well and tested in Chrome, Safari, Opera, and IE. <script language='JavaScript'> window.onload = function() { var nstar = 0, urls = []; urls[0] = "http://optout.imiclk.com/cgi/nai_status.cgi?nocache="; urls[1] = "http://www.adbrite.com/mb/nai_optout_check.php?nocache="; urls[2] = "http://events.adchemy.com/visitor/auuid/nai-status?nocache="; function getImgSize(imgSrc){ var newImg = new Image(); newImg.src = imgSrc; return{height:newImg.height, width:newImg.width} } for(i=0,length=urls.length;i<length;i++){ if(getImgSize(urls[i]).height==43){nstar++;} } document.getElementById('tracknum').innerHTML = "<b>" + nstar + "</b>"; } </script>

  • Wrong CSS mime type with Roundcube 0.5 beta and nginx

    - by Julien Vehent
    I'm running into a CSS problem. This is a setup based on Debian Squeeze (nginx/0.7.67, php5/cgi) on which I installed the latest Roundcube 0.5 beta. PHP is properly processed, login works fine but the CSS files are not loaded and Firefox is throwing the following errors: Error: The stylesheet https://webmail.example.net:10443/roundcube/skins/default/common.css?s=1290600165 was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/html", is not "text/css". Source File: https://webmail.example.net:10443/roundcube/?_task=login Line: 0 Error: The stylesheet https://webmail.example.net:10443/roundcube/skins/default/mail.css?s=1290156319 was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/html", is not "text/css". Source File: https://webmail.example.net:10443/roundcube/?_task=login Line: 0 As far as I understand, nginx doesn't see the .css extension (because ofthe ?s= argument) and thus set the mime type with the default value, being text/html. Should I fix this in nginx (and how ?) or is it roundcube's related ? Edit: It seems that it's nginx related. The content-type isn't set for any other type than text/html. I had to include manually the following declarations to force CSS and JS content-types. That's ugly, and I never had the problem before... any idea ? location ~ \.css { add_header Content-Type text/css; } location ~ \.js { add_header Content-Type application/x-javascript; }

  • CORS Fails on CloudFront Distribution with Nginx Origin

    - by kgrote
I have a CloudFront distribution set up with an Nginx server as the origin (a Media Temple DV server, to be specific). I enabled the Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * header so fonts will work in Firefox. However, Firefox throws a CORS error for fonts loaded from this CloudFront/Nginx distribution. I created another CloudFront distribution, this time with an Apache server as the origin, and set Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * also. Firefox displays fonts from this origin without issue. I've set up a demo page here: http://kristengrote.com/cors-test/ When I perform a curl request for the same font file from each distribution, both files return almost exactly the same headers: Apache Origin Nginx Origin ——————————————————— ——————————————————— HTTP/1.1 200 OK HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Apache Server: nginx Content-Type: application/font-woff Content-Type: application/font-woff Content-Length: 25428 Content-Length: 25428 Connection: keep-alive Connection: keep-alive Date: Wed, 11 Jun 2014 23:23:09 GMT Date: Wed, 11 Jun 2014 23:15:23 GMT Last-Modified: Tue, 10 Jun 2014 22:15:56 GMT Last-Modified: Tue, 10 Jun 2014 22:56:09 GMT Accept-Ranges: bytes Accept-Ranges: bytes Cache-Control: max-age=2592000 Cache-Control: max-age=2592000 Expires: Fri, 11 Jul 2014 23:23:09 GMT Expires: Fri, 11 Jul 2014 23:15:23 GMT Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * Access-Control-Allow-Methods: GET, HEAD Access-Control-Allow-Methods: GET, HEAD Access-Control-Allow-Headers: * Access-Control-Allow-Headers: * Access-Control-Max-Age: 3000 Access-Control-Max-Age: 3000 X-Cache: Hit from cloudfront X-Cache: Hit from cloudfront Via: 1.1 210111ffb8239a13be669aa7c59f53bd.cloudfront.net (CloudFront) Via: 1.1 fa0dd57deefe7337151830e7e9660414.cloudfront.net (CloudFront) X-Amz-Cf-Id: QWucpBoZnS3B8E1mlXR2V5V-SVUoITCeVb64fETuAgNuGuTLnbzAhw== X-Amz-Cf-Id: E2Z3VOIfR5QPcYN1osOgvk0HyBwc3PxrFBBHYdA65ZntXDe-srzgUQ== Age: 487 X-Accel-Version: 0.01 X-Powered-By: PleskLin X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow So the only conclusion I can draw is that something about Nginx is preventing Firefox from recognizing CORS and allowing the fonts via CloudFront. Any ideas on what the heck is happening here?

  • Why does loading a html page opens automaically the printer dialog?

    - by Alex
I have the problem that loading a certain webpage in firefox automatically opens the printer dialog. How is that? Additional information: This only happens on firefox 24.0 on Windows 7. It neither happens on Windows Explorer in Windows 7 nor on Firefox 24 on a Linux system. This also happens when using the firefox safemode, with all add-ons disabled. I cannot post the webpage, since it is not public and restricted. Multiple javascript files are used, but none contains the expression print(). The page content does not contain the phrase 'printer'. It has nothing to do with printing something. This happens sometimes, but not always. I cannot say for sure the URL and/or the content is always identical. I can answer any other questions, like 'Does the page contain this and that...', 'does the URL contain this and that...' Basic question: What could be the reason for the annoying printer pop up?
