    Hi, Im not sure if I have missed anything but I am trying to achieve pagination on blog posts within my blog. Is there a setting somewhere to show a certain number of blog posts per page by default? Or am I going to need to add that functionallity myself? Thanks.

  • LDAP c++ API choice

    I would like to write my own LDAP client under Linux, specific to our local environment. Most probably I will use QT4 to provide a shiny frontend without much hassle. I found that there seems to be no standard C++ library for this. OpenLDAP provides a C API and there should also be a C++ API (experimental?) somewhere.. Do I need to use the C stuff or is there a C++ API out there worth of recommendation?

  • How do I find where an exception was thrown in C++?

    I have a program that throws an uncaught exception somewhere. All I get is a report of an exception being thrown, and no information as to where it was thrown. It seems illogical for a program compiled to contain debug symbols not to notify me of where in my code an exception was generated. Is there any way to tell where my exceptions are coming from short of setting 'catch throw' in gdb and calling a backtrace for every single thrown exception?

  • How to read expected child nodes of a given node from schema in PHP?

    I was wondering if there's an implementation of a XML schema reader that for an arbitrary node in XML schema provides list of nodes which are supposed to be present as child nodes of given node, restrictions on nodes and so on. Say I had a character vector like so: > seq.names <- c('abc21', 'abc2', 'abc1', 'abc01', 'abc4', 'abc201', '1b', '1a') I'd like to sort it aphanumerically, so I get back this: c('1a', '1b', 'abc1', 'abc01', 'abc2', 'abc4', 'abc21', 'abc201') Does this exist somewhere, or should I start coding?     Im using a code editor codepress in all of my textareas, but no textarea return a value. I think the different name and id is the problem. Example: <textarea name="content_text" rows="20" cols="50" class="codepress sql" id="myCpWindow"></textarea> I have read somewhere in here to use a hidden input to transfer the textarea's value, but i cant do it myself! ayhelp?

So i have question: what happens for example when you run a function in php such as date("Ymd"); or file_get_contents("file.txt");?   • Trouble reinstalling Gem after failure

    Yesterday I tried to install Jeweler via Rubygems, however somewhere in the middle of the process I had a power failure, resulting in my computer turning off in the middle of the installation process. Once I got it back up, I tried to reinstall Jeweler, however resulting in an error I've had trouble decoding. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem? (I tried uninstall, cleanup and check)

  • Where does that randomness come from ?

    I'm working on a data mining research project and use code from a big svn. Apparently one of the methods I use from that svn uses randomness somewhere without asking for a seed, which makes 2 calls to my program return different results. That's annoying for what I want to do, so I'm trying to locate that "uncontrolled" randomness. Since the classes I use depend on many other, that's pretty painful to do by hand. Any idea how I could find where that randomness comes from ?
