  • Hudson Free Temp Space location

    - by Kevin
Hi I have just installed Hudson on a Weblogic server and I am having issues with the nodes going off line due to the Free Temp Space falling below the 1gig threshold. Now I have checked my /tmp folder (thinking Hudson uses that) but it is sitting at 10gigs free. Would anybody be able to point me to the folder Hudson uses? Also I am using a SunOS box. Thanks,

  • Another warning question: "Incompatible intiger to pointer conversion assigning to 'int *' from 'int'"

    - by Preston
I have yet another pesky warning I would like gone. Basically, I have an int declared like this: @property (nonatomic, assign) int *myInt; and set like this: myInt = 0;. It is also synthesized in the implementation file. I am getting a warning on the line where I set the int's value and it says "Incompatible intiger to pointer conversion assigning to 'int *' from 'int'." What should I do to fix this?

  • Is there an Emacs-analog for the VI '.' command to repeat-last-typed-text

    - by Don
I've used emacs for decades and always wondered, but kept on coding, if there was a way to type in something, them move the cursor and insert the same text, like the VI . command. Instead what I do is to type the text, set the mark, backup, copy the region, go to the next spot (often just C-n, down one line) and then pre-arg yank, C-u C-y. It's the overhead of set mark, backup and copy region that makes me just go ahead and retype the thing.

  • Printing a string and variable in MIPS

    - by Matt
Here's the C representation of what I'm trying to do in MIPS assembly: printf ("x=%d\n", x); I know that I can do a syscall to easily print x= and I can also do a syscall to print the int x (which is stored in a register). However, that prints them like this (let's say x is 5): x= 5 How can I make them print on the same line?

  • Backtracking infinite loop

    - by Greenhorn
This is Exercise 28.1.2 from HtDP. I've successfully implemented the neighbors function and all test cases pass. (define Graph (list (list 'A (list 'B 'E)) (list 'B (list 'E 'F)) (list 'C (list 'D)) (list 'D empty) (list 'E (list 'C 'F)) (list 'F (list 'D 'G)) (list 'G empty))) (define (first-line n alist) (cond [(symbol=? (first alist) n) alist] [else empty])) ;; returns empty if node is not in graph (define (neighbors n g) (cond [(empty? g) empty] [(cons? (first g)) (cond [(symbol=? (first (first g)) n) (first-line n (first g))] [else (neighbors n (rest g))])])) ; test cases (equal? (neighbors 'A Graph) (list 'A (list 'B 'E))) (equal? (neighbors 'B Graph) (list 'B (list 'E 'F))) (equal? (neighbors 'C Graph) (list 'C (list 'D))) (equal? (neighbors 'D Graph) (list 'D empty)) (equal? (neighbors 'E Graph) (list 'E (list 'C 'F))) (equal? (neighbors 'F Graph) (list 'F (list 'D 'G))) (equal? (neighbors 'G Graph) (list 'G empty)) (equal? (neighbors 'H Graph) empty) The problem comes when I copy-paste the code from Figure 77 of the text. It is supposed to determine whether a destination node is reachable from an origin node. However it appears that the code goes into an infinite loop except for the most trivial case where the origin and destination nodes are the same. ;; find-route : node node graph -> (listof node) or false ;; to create a path from origination to destination in G ;; if there is no path, the function produces false (define (find-route origination destination G) (cond [(symbol=? origination destination) (list destination)] [else (local ((define possible-route (find-route/list (neighbors origination G) destination G))) (cond [(boolean? possible-route) false] [else (cons origination possible-route)]))])) ;; find-route/list : (listof node) node graph -> (listof node) or false ;; to create a path from some node on lo-Os to D ;; if there is no path, the function produces false (define (find-route/list lo-Os D G) (cond [(empty? lo-Os) false] [else (local ((define possible-route (find-route (first lo-Os) D G))) (cond [(boolean? possible-route) (find-route/list (rest lo-Os) D G)] [else possible-route]))])) Does the problem lie in my code? Thank you.

  • vim plugin to show current Perl subroutine

    - by Andrew
    I'm trying to make a vim plugin that will split the window on load and simulate a info bar at the top of my terminal. I've got it sorta working but I think I've either reached limits of my knowledge of vim syntax or there's a logic problem in my code. The desired effect would be to do a reverse search for any declaration of a Perl subroutine form my current location in the active buffer and display the line in the top buffer. I'm also trying to make it skip that buffer when I switch buffers with <C-R>. My attempt at that so far can be seen in the mess of nested if statements. Anyway, here's the code. I would greatly appreciate feedback from anyone. (pastebin pastebin.com/8cuMPn1Q) let s:current_function_bufname = 'Current\ Function\/Subroutine' function! s:get_current_function_name(no_echo) let lnum = line(".") let col = col(".") if a:no_echo let s:current_function_name = getline(search("^[^s]sub .$", 'bW')) else echohl ModeMsg echo getline(search("^[^s]sub .$", 'bW')) "echo getline(search("^[^ \t#/]\{2}.[^:]\s$", 'bW')) echohl None endif endfunction let s:previous_winbufnr = 1 let s:current_function_name = '' let s:current_function_buffer_created = 0 let s:current_function_bufnr = 2 function! s:show_current_function() let total_buffers = winnr('$') let current_winbufnr = winnr() if s:previous_winbufnr != current_winbufnr if bufname(current_winbufnr) == s:current_function_bufname if s:previous_winbufnr < current_winbufnr let i = current_winbufnr + 1 if i total_buffers let i = 1 endif if i == s:current_function_bufnr let i = i + 1 endif if i total buffers let i = 1 endif exec i.'wincmd w' else let i = current_winbufnr - 1 if i < 1 let i = total_buffers endif if i == s:current_function_bufnr let i = i - 1 endif if i < 1 let i = total_buffers endif try exec i.'wincmd w' finally exec total_buffers.'wincmd w' endtry endif endif let s:previous_winbufnr = current_winbufnr return 1 endif if s:current_function_buffer_created == 0 exec 'top 1 split '.s:current_function_bufname call s:set_as_scratch_buffer() let s:current_function_buffer_created = 1 let s:current_function_bufnr = winnr() endif call s:activate_buffer_by_name(s:current_function_bufname) setlocal modifiable call s:get_current_function_name(1) call setline(1, s:current_function_name) setlocal nomodifiable call s:activate_buffer_by_name(bufname(current_winbufnr)) endfunction function! s:set_as_scratch_buffer() setlocal noswapfile setlocal nomodifiable setlocal bufhidden=delete setlocal buftype=nofile setlocal nobuflisted setlocal nonumber setlocal nowrap setlocal cursorline endfunction function! s:activate_buffer_by_name(name) for i in range(1, winnr('$')) let name = bufname(winbufnr(i)) let full_name = fnamemodify(bufname(winbufnr(i)), ':p') if name == a:name || full_name == a:name exec i.'wincmd w' return 1 endif endfor return 0 endfunction set laststatus=2 autocmd!   • finding process bottlenecks rails/ruby

    - by Ben
I just got started with rails, and when I testing in development mode, I see in the logs that my Mailer action is taking 1175ms. Is there anyway to find out what exactly is the slow step? Also, there is a line that says (View:2, DB:1). I assume the DB means number of database lookups, but what about the view?

  • How to force disconnect users from a box?

    - by LikeToCode
how do you disconnect an active user logged in to a box? There should be a command line tool that comes with Windows, but I forgot it's name. • Refreshing Visual Studio's COM references tab

    - by r_honey
I right-clicked on the bin folder of my web app to add a COM Reference. I did not find the desired Com reference in the list. I went back to the Command Line to register by desired Com dll using resvr32. However, the COM references tab does not shows it (looks like the information is cached somewhere). Even restarting VS did not help. Is their any easy way to refresh the COM references tab without rebooting the machine itself??

  • writing to a dataframe from a for-loop in R

    - by CCID
I'm trying to write from a loop to a data frame in R, for example a loop like this for (i in 1:20) { print(c(i+i,i*i,i/1))} and to write each line of 3 values to a data frame with three columns, so that each iteration takes on a new row. I've tried using matrix, with ncol=3 and filled by rows, but only get the last item from the loop. Thanks.

  • Is it possible to have yui editor change paragraph style without selecting text?

    - by user126861
Is it possible to change the behavior of the yui text editor so that when you make markup changes (via the toolbar bar buttons), for example changing from a paragraph to say a heading or to a list, and you dont have any text selected it assumes you mean the current block that the cursor is in So to change a paragraph to a heading rather than selecting the whole line you just place the cursor somewhere in the paragraph and select heading from the styles drop down.

  • What does int argc, char *argv[] mean?

    - by Greg Treleaven
In many C++ IDE's and compilers, when it generates the main function for you, it looks like this: int main(int argc, char *argv[]) When I code C++ without an IDE, just with a command line compiler, I type: int main() without any parameters. What does this mean, and is it vital to my program?
