  • How are cookies sent to a website

    - by Phenom
After you enter your name and password on a website, a cookie is stored on your computer. Your computer then sends information from that cookie to the website whenever you browse to another page on that site so that the site knows who you are. How is information from the cookie sent? Does the browser append information from within the cookie to the html address?

  • Naive question of memory references in Operating system

    - by darkie15
Hi All, I am learning memory references pertaining to Operating systems and don't seem to get to the crux of understanding it. For example, I am not able to visualize this scenario properly: "A 36 bit address employs both paging and segmentation. Both PTE and STE are 4 bytes each". How are they related? I can guess that this question might be too simple for many. But any help understanding the above basic concept would be appreciable. Regards, darkie15

I've seen questions asked here before, but they do not address the issue. That said: "In App Purchases" specifically may not be real world goods or services, according to Apple. What services allow integration with iPhone apps so that I can use ObjectiveC to sell things in an iPhone app?

  • submitting data via email to websystem

    - by tnriverfish
I'm working on a task system and I'd like to be able to submit a task to the system by emailing it to a particular address. I'm thinking I could set my user by the sender, the task subject by the subject and the task comments by the text of the email. Not sure the version of Exchange we have available if that matters but I'm running .net 3.5 and using C#. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks, Charlie

  • CSS Multi-Column Forms in HTML/ASP.NET

    - by Caveatrob
I've researched for hours and still haven't found a robust, non-absolute-positioning solution for displaying multiple-column forms and values without using TABLE tags. Can someone point me to a resource specifically oriented towards reproducing table-based, multiple-column forms (like name and address forms) in CSS to standards? Most of the forms I see only have a single column with field/value.

I have setup a catchall router on exim (used as last router): catchall: driver = redirect domains = +local_domains data = ${lookup{*@$domain}lsearch{/etc/aliases}} retry_use_local_part This works perfectly when sending emails locally. However, if I login to my GMail account and send an email to [email protected], then I get an "Unrouteable Address". Thank you for any hints to solve this issue.
