  • using SeekToNavCuePoint with Custom Cue Points created by ActionScript

    - by meghana
    i have custom flvPlayBack player, i want to do like add Custom CuePoints using ActionScript and making one button Event , On click of that button , Flv should seek to that CuePoints added using ActionScript . I am using below code to do that. var rtn_obj:Object; //create cue point object my_FLVPlybk.source = "sj_clip.flv"; my_FLVPlybk.addASCuePoint(0, "abs",CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); my_FLVPlybk.addASCuePoint(4, "abs",CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); my_FLVPlybk.addASCuePoint(8, "abs",CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); my_FLVPlybk.addASCuePoint(12, "abs",CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); my_FLVPlybk.addASCuePoint(16, "abs",CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); my_FLVPlybk.addASCuePoint(20, "abs",CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); my_FLVPlybk.addASCuePoint(24, "abs",CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); my_FLVPlybk.addASCuePoint(28, "abs",CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); my_FLVPlybk.addASCuePoint(31, "abs",CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); my_FLVPlybk.setFLVCuePointEnabled(true,"abs"); fwbtn1.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,Forward) function Forward(e:MouseEvent):void { if(rtn_obj != null) { traceit(rtn_obj) rtn_obj = my_FLVPlybk.findNextCuePointWithName(rtn_obj); if(rtn_obj != null) { traceit(rtn_obj) my_FLVPlybk.seekToNavCuePoint(rtn_obj.time); } } } my_FLVPlybk.addEventListener(fl.video.VideoEvent.READY, ready_listener); function ready_listener(eventObject:fl.video.VideoEvent):void { rtn_obj = my_FLVPlybk.findCuePoint("abs", CuePointType.ACTIONSCRIPT); } function traceit(cuePoint:Object):void { trace("Cue point name is: " + cuePoint.name); trace("Cue point time is: " + cuePoint.time); trace("Cue point type is: " + cuePoint.type); } I thought ,this code should work properly.. but when i run this code , it give me next cuePoint which i find using findNextCuePointWithName() method but it does not seek to that point , which i thought seekToNavCuePoint() method should do. anybody have any idea , how to make it work?? Thanks i Hope my i have explained my requirement to clear to understand. i really need this in urgent. please help me.

  • How to get selected row index in JSF datatable?

    - by Nitesh Panchal
    I have a databale on index.xhtml <h:dataTable style="border: solid 2px black;" value="#{IndexBean.bookList}" var="item" binding="#{IndexBean.datatableBooks}"> <h:column> <h:commandButton value="Edit" actionListener="#{IndexBean.editBook}"> <f:param name="index" value="#{IndexBean.datatableBooks.rowIndex}"/> </h:commandButton> </h:column> </h:dataTable> My bean: @ManagedBean(name="IndexBean") @ViewScoped public class IndexBean implements Serializable { private HtmlDataTable datatableBooks; public HtmlDataTable getDatatableBooks() { return datatableBooks; } public void setDatatableBooks(HtmlDataTable datatableBooks) { this.datatableBooks = datatableBooks; } public void editBook() throws IOException{ int index = Integer.parseInt(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequestParameterMap().get("index").toString()); System.out.println(index); } } My problem is that I always get the same index in server log even though I click the different edit buttons. Imagine that there is one collection which is supplied to the datatable. I have not shown that in bean. If I change scope from ViewScope to RequestScope it works fine. What can be the problem with @ViewScoped? Thanks in advance :) EDIT: <h:column> <h:commandButton value="Edit" actionListener="#{IndexBean.editBook}" /> </h:column> public void editBook(ActionEvent ev) throws IOException{ if (ev.getSource() != null && ev.getSource() instanceof HtmlDataTable) { HtmlDataTable objHtmlDataTable = (HtmlDataTable) ev.getSource(); System.out.println(objHtmlDataTable.getRowIndex()); } }

  • MVC 2: Html.TextBoxFor, etc. in VB.NET 2010

    - by Brian
    Hello, I have this sample ASP.NET MVC 2.0 view in C#, bound to a strongly typed model that has a first name, last name, and email: <div> First: <%= Html.TextBoxFor(i => i.FirstName) %> <%= Html.ValidationMessageFor(i => i.FirstName, "*") %> </div> <div> Last: <%= Html.TextBoxFor(i => i.LastName) %> <%= Html.ValidationMessageFor(i => i.LastName, "*")%> </div> <div> Email: <%= Html.TextBoxFor(i => i.Email) %> <%= Html.ValidationMessageFor(i => i.Email, "*")%> </div> I converted it to VB.NET, seeing the appropriate constructs in VB.NET 10, as: <div> First: <%= Html.TextBoxFor(Function(i) i.FirstName) %> <%= Html.ValidationMessageFor(Function(i) i.FirstName, "*") %> </div> <div> Last: <%= Html.TextBoxFor(Function(i) i.LastName)%> <%= Html.ValidationMessageFor(Function(i) i.LastName, "*")%> </div> <div> Email: <%= Html.TextBoxFor(Function(i) i.Email)%> <%= Html.ValidationMessageFor(Function(i) i.Email, "*")%> </div> No luck. Is this right, and if not, what syntax do I need to use? Again, I'm using ASP.NET MVC 2.0, this is a view bound to a strongly typed model... does MVC 2 still not support the new language constructs in .NET 2010? Thanks.

  • Logging Into a site that uses Live.com authentication with C#

    - by Josh
    I've been trying to automate a log in to a website I frequent, www.bungie.net. The site is associated with Microsoft and Xbox Live, and as such makes uses of the Windows Live ID API when people log in to their site. I am relatively new to creating web spiders/robots, and I worry that I'm misunderstanding some of the most basic concepts. I've simulated logins to other sites such as Facebook and Gmail, but live.com has given me nothing but trouble. Anyways, I've been using Wireshark and the Firefox addon Tamper Data to try and figure out what I need to post, and what cookies I need to include with my requests. As far as I know these are the steps one must follow to log in to this site. 1. Visit https: //login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1268167141&rver=5.5.4177.0&wp=LBI&wreply=http:%2F%2Fwww.bungie.net%2FDefault.aspx&id=42917 2. Recieve the cookies MSPRequ and MSPOK. 3. Post the values from the form ID "PPSX", the values from the form ID "PPFT", your username, your password all to a changing URL similar to: https: //login.live.com/ppsecure/post.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct= (there are a few numbers that change at the end of that URL) 4. Live.com returns the user a page with more hidden forms to post. The client then posts the values from the form "ANON", the value from the form "ANONExp" and the values from the form "t" to the URL: http ://www.bung ie.net/Default.aspx?wa=wsignin1.0 5. After posting that data, the user is returned a variety of cookies the most important of which is "BNGAuth" which is the log in cookie for the site. Where I am having trouble is on fifth step, but that doesn't neccesarily mean I've done all the other steps correctly. I post the data from "ANON", "ANONExp" and "t" but instead of being returned a BNGAuth cookie, I'm returned a cookie named "RSPMaybe" and redirected to the home page. When I review the Wireshark log, I noticed something that instantly stood out to me as different between the log when I logged in with Firefox and when my program ran. It could be nothing but I'll include the picture here for you to review. I'm being returned an HTTP packet from the site before I post the data in the fourth step. I'm not sure how this is happening, but it must be a side effect from something I'm doing wrong in the HTTPS steps. ![alt text][1] http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/6049/31394881.gif using System; using System.Collections.Generic; • DynamicObject and WCF support

    - by rboarman
    Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting a DynamicObject to serialize and work with WCF? Here’s my little test: [DataContract] class MyDynamicObject : DynamicObject { [DataMember] private Dictionary<string, object> _attributes = new Dictionary<string, object>(); public override bool TryGetMember(GetMemberBinder binder, out object result) { string key = binder.Name; result = null; if (_attributes.ContainsKey(key)) result = _attributes[key]; return true; } public override bool TrySetMember(SetMemberBinder binder, object value) { _attributes.Add(binder.Name, value); return true; } } var dy = new MyDynamicObject(); var ser = new DataContractSerializer(typeof(MyDynamicObject)); var mem = new MemoryStream(); ser.WriteObject(mem, dy); The error I get is: System.Runtime.Serialization.InvalidDataContractException was unhandled Message=Type 'ElasticTest1.MyDynamicObject' cannot inherit from a type that is not marked with DataContractAttribute or SerializableAttribute. Consider marking the base type 'System.Dynamic.DynamicObject' with DataContractAttribute or SerializableAttribute, or removing them from the derived type. Any suggestions? Thanks, Rick

  • Android - Using PreferenceScreen to display and save settings to/from ContentProvider

    - by Donal Rafferty
    I have my own custom Content Provider that loads a datasbase which contains the settings information for my application. I load the settings from the ContentProvider on the creation of my Settings activity. My Settings activity is made up of a PreferenceScreen and Dialog based EditText's. The following code shows how I use the preference screen and edit texts. So as you can see from the first image this works and displays the menu with the information underneath. The problem is in image two, when I click on a choice in the menu the dialog pops up but it is empty, I would like to be able to load the data from my content provider into the edit text in the dialog, so in image one it shows "Donal" as the user name so in image two "Donal" should also appear in the edit text in the dialog. I would also like to be able to listen to the OK button in the dialog so when a user changes a setting I can update the data in my content provider. Can anyone help me with what I'm trying to do? Code // Root PreferenceScreen root = getPreferenceManager().createPreferenceScreen(this); // Dialog based preferences PreferenceCategory dialogBasedPrefCat = new PreferenceCategory(this); dialogBasedPrefCat.setTitle(R.string.dialog_based_preferences); root.addPreference(dialogBasedPrefCat); // Edit text preference EditTextPreference editTextPref = new EditTextPreference(this); editTextPref.setDialogTitle(R.string.dialog_title_edittext_preference); editTextPref.setKey("edittext_preference"); editTextPref.setTitle(R.string.title_edittext_preference); editTextPref.setSummary(name); dialogBasedPrefCat.addPreference(editTextPref); Image One Image Two

  • <rich:datatable> and <rich:datascroller> problem

    - by Bariscan
    Hi all, I am developing a Seam-Jsfv1.2-EJB3 web app. I have a datatable and checkboxes in each row. Moreover, I have a datascroller at the bottom of my table as well. My problem is when I click the next page number from the scroller, the selected checkboxes at the first page of the datatable is gone. I mean, even if they were selected, clicking the next page make them deselected. I see it by going back to the first page again by clicking the scroller. Do you have any idea about that problem? In order to clearify my case, I attached my code below: <rich:dataTable id="apiV2ProductList" rows="10" var="_apiV2Product" value="#{apiV2ProductList.resultList}" rendered="#{not empty apiV2ProductList.resultList}" reRender="ds"> <rich:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:selectBooleanCheckbox id="selectionCheckAll" onclick="selectAll()" /> </f:facet> <h:selectBooleanCheckbox id="selectionCheck" onclick="increase(this)" value="#{_apiV2Product.selectValue}" > </h:selectBooleanCheckbox> </rich:column> ... <f:facet name="footer"> <rich:datascroller id="ds" renderIfSinglePage="false"> </rich:datascroller> </f:facet> Many thanks in advance. • Build 32-bit with 64-bit llvm-gcc

    - by Jay Conrod
    I have a 64-bit version of llvm-gcc, but I want to be able to build both 32-bit and 64-bit binaries. Is there a flag for this? I tried passing -m32 (which works on the regular gcc), but I get an error message like this: [jay@andesite]$ llvm-gcc -m32 test.c -o test Warning: Generation of 64-bit code for a 32-bit processor requested. Warning: 64-bit processors all have at least SSE2. /tmp/cchzYo9t.s: Assembler messages: /tmp/cchzYo9t.s:8: Error: bad register name `%rbp' /tmp/cchzYo9t.s:9: Error: bad register name `%rsp' ... This is backwards; I want to generate 32-bit code for a 64-bit processor! I'm running llvm-gcc 4.2, the one that comes with Ubuntu 9.04 x86-64. EDIT: Here is the relevant part of the output when I run llvm-gcc with the -v flag: [jay@andesite]$ llvm-gcc -v -m32 test.c -o test.bc Using built-in specs. Target: x86_64-linux-gnu Configured with: ../llvm-gcc4.2-2.2.source/configure --host=x86_64-linux-gnu --build=x86_64-linux-gnu --prefix=/usr/lib/llvm/gcc-4.2 --enable-languages=c,c++ --program-prefix=llvm- --enable-llvm=/usr/lib/llvm --enable-threads --disable-nls --disable-shared --disable-multilib --disable-bootstrap Thread model: posix gcc version 4.2.1 (Based on Apple Inc. build 5546) (LLVM build) /usr/lib/llvm/gcc-4.2/libexec/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.2.1/cc1 -quiet -v -imultilib . test.c -quiet -dumpbase test.c -m32 -mtune=generic -auxbase test -version -o /tmp/ccw6TZY6.s I looked in /usr/lib/llvm/gcc-4.2/libexec/gcc hoping to find another binary, but the only directory there is x86_64-linux-gnu. I will probably look at compiling llvm-gcc from source with appropriate options next.

  • Model validation with enumerable properties in Asp.net MVC2 RTM

    - by Robert Koritnik
    I'm using DataAnnotations attributes to validate my model objects. My model class looks similar to this: public class MyModel { [Required] public string Title { get; set; } [Required] public List<User> Editors { get; set; } } public class User { public int Id { get; set; } [Required] public string FullName { get; set; } [Required] [DataType(DataType.Email)] public string Email { get; set; } } My controller action looks like: public ActionResult NewItem(MyModel data) { //... } User is presented with a view that has a form with: a text box with dummy name where users enter user's names. For each user they enter, there's a client script coupled with ajax that creates an <input type="hidden" name="data.Editors[0].Id" value="userId" /> for each user entered (enumeration index is therefore not always 0 as written here), so default model binder is able to consume and bind the form without any problems. a text box where users enter the title Since I'm using Asp.net MVC 2 RTM which does model validation instead of input validation I don't know how to avoid validation errors. The thing is I have to use BindAttribute on my controller action. I would have to either provide a white or a black list of properties. It's always a better practice to provide a white list. It's also more future proof. The problem My form works fine, but I get validation errors about user's FullName and Email properties since they are not provided. I also shouldn't feed them to the client (via ajax when user enters user data), because email is personal contact data and is not shared between users. If there was just a single user reference on MyModel I would write [Bind(Include = "Title, Editor.Id")] But I have an enumeration of them. How do I provide Bind white list to work with my model?

  • Retrieve GWT radiobutton value in servlet

    - by Florian d'Erfurth
    Hi, I'm having a headache figuring how to retrieve the gwt Radio Buttons values in the server side. Here is my UiBinder form: <g:FormPanel ui:field="form"><g:VerticalPanel ui:field="fruitPanel"> <g:RadioButton name="fruit">apple</g:RadioButton> <g:RadioButton name="fruit">banana</g:RadioButton> <g:SubmitButton>Submit</g:SubmitButton> ... Here is how i initialize the form: form.setAction("/submit"); form.setMethod(FormPanel.METHOD_POST); So i though i would have to do this on the servlet: fruit = req.getParameter("fruit") But of course this doesn't work, parameter fruit doesn't exist :/ Edit: Ok i get parameter fruit but it's always "on" I also did try to add the radio button in java with: RadioButton rb0 = new RadioButton("fruit", "apple"); RadioButton rb1 = new RadioButton("fruit", "banana"); fruitPanel.add(rb0); fruitPanel.add(rb1); So how should i do?

  • Access variables between nested JSP tags

    - by user308053
    I would like to exchange information between two nested JSP tagx artifacts. To give an example: list.jspx <myNs:table data="${myTableData}"> <myNs:column property="firstName" label="First Name"/> <myNs:column property="lastName" label="Last Name"/> </myNs:table> Now, the table.tagx is supposed to display the data columns as defined in the nested column tags. The question is how do I get access to the values of the property and label attributes of the nested column tags from the table tag. I tried jsp:directive.variable but that seems only to work to exchange information between a jsp and a tag, but not between nested tags. Note, I would like to avoid using java backing objects for both the table and the column tags at all. I would also like to know how I can access an attribute defined by a parent tag (in this example I would like to access the contents of the data attribute in table.tagx from column.tagx). So it boils down to how can I access variables between nested JSP tags which are purely implemented through the tag definitions themselves (no Java TagHandler implementation desired)?

  • TFS - How much nesting on disk structure

    - by NealWalters
    We just got TFS installed and ready go. I'm trying to decide on the disk structure. Let's suppose I have two BizTalk projects called Common and BookTransfer (in actuality I have 7). [At this client, we adopted the style of having schemas, orchs, maps in one project called BizTalk.Artifacts]. A folder with the name "components" is C# code. We are using a CodePlex tool called BizTalk deployment framework which somewhat dictates part of the structure. I'm trying to decide how much nesting we should do on the disk directories (EC is the application name, and Common/BookTransfer or BizTalk Applications separated out for easier deploy/undeploy). Proposal #1: -EC - Main - Source - Common - Company.EC.Common.Biztalk.Artifacts [folder] - Company.EC.Common.BizTalk.Components [folder] - Company.EC.Common.Biztalk.Deployment [folder] - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.sln - BookTransfer - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Artifacts [folder] - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Components [folder] - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Components.UnitTest [folder] - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Deployment [folder] - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.sln Proposal #2 - a flatter approach -EC - Main - Source - Company.EC.Common.BizTalk.sln - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.sln - Company.EC.Common.Biztalk.Artifacts [folder] - Company.EC.Common.BizTalk.Components [folder] - Company.EC.Common.Biztalk.Deployment [folder] - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Artifacts [folder] - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Components [folder] - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Components.UnitTest [folder] - Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Deployment [folder] Current Structure (perhaps too many nested folders) Main Source Company EC Common BizTalk -Company .EC.Common.Biztalk.Artifacts [folder] -Company .EC.Common.BizTalk.Components [folder] -Company .EC.Common.Biztalk.Deployment [folder] Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.sln BookTransfer BizTalk Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Artifacts [folder] Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Components [folder] Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Components.UnitTest [folder] Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.Deployment [folder] Company.EC.BookTransfer.BizTalk.sln Thanks, Neal Walters

  • ASP.NET AJAX Toolkit - CalendarExtender is reset on Postback

    - by user70192
    Hello, I have an ASP.NET page that has two input elements: A TextBox that is ReadOnly. This TextBox is the TargetControl of a CalendarExtender A DropDownList with AutoPostBack=true Here is the code: <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tr><td colspan="2">Date:</td></tr> <tr><td colspan="2"> <asp:TextBox ID="dateTextBox" runat="server" ReadOnly="true" /> <ajax:CalendarExtender ID="datePicker" runat="server" Format="MM/dd/yyyy" OnLoad="datePicker_Load" TargetControlID="dateTextBox" /> </td></tr> <tr><td colspan="2">Select an Option:</td></tr> <tr> <td>Name:&nbsp;</td> <td><asp:DropDownList ID="optionsDropDownList" runat="server" AutoPostBack="true" OnLoad="optionsDropDownList_Load" OnSelectedIndexChanged="optionsDropDownList_SelectedIndexChanged" DataTextField="Name" DataValueField="ID" /> </td></tr> <tr><td><asp:Button ID="saveButton" runat="server" Text="Save" OnClick="saveButton_Click" /></td></tr> </table> When the DropDownList posts back, the date selected by the user with the datePicker is reset to the current date. In addition, if I look at the Text property of dateTextBox, it is equal to string.Empty. How do I preserve the date that the user selected on a PostBack?

  • How to declare dependent style names with UiBinder

    - by Eduard Wirch
    I have a simple UiBinder widget containing a TextArea: <!DOCTYPE ui:UiBinder SYSTEM "http://dl.google.com/gwt/DTD/xhtml.ent"> <ui:UiBinder xmlns:ui="urn:ui:com.google.gwt.uibinder" xmlns:g="urn:import:com.google.gwt.user.client.ui"> <g:TextArea visibleLines="3" /> </ui:UiBinder> I want to control the background color of this textarea for writeable and read only states. GWT uses the "-readonly" style name decorator to achieve this. So I try this: <!DOCTYPE ui:UiBinder SYSTEM "http://dl.google.com/gwt/DTD/xhtml.ent"> <ui:UiBinder xmlns:ui="urn:ui:com.google.gwt.uibinder" xmlns:g="urn:import:com.google.gwt.user.client.ui"> <ui:style> .textBoxStyle { background-color:yellow; } .textBoxStyle-readonly { background-color:lightgray; } </ui:style> <g:TextArea styleName="{style.textBoxStyle}" visibleLines="3" /> </ui:UiBinder> Obviously this won't work because style names are obfuscated for CssResources resulting in something like this: .G1x26wpeN { background-color:yellow } .G1x26wpeO { background-color: lightgray; } The result HTML for writeable textarea looks like this: <textarea tabindex="0" class="G1x26wpeN" rows="3"/> The read only textarea looks like this: <textarea tabindex="0" class="G1x26wpeN G1x26wpeN-readonly" readonly="" rows="3"/> How do I declare the style so GWT will obfuscate the primary part but not the "-readonly" decdorator? I know that I can disable the obfuscation for the entire style name. But I'd like to keep the obfuscation while making use of the decorators.

  • Multiple Base Addresses and Multiple Endpoints in WCF

    - by mnhab
    I'm using two bindings TCP and HTTP. I want to give mex data on both bindings. What I want is that the mexHttpBinding only exposes the HTTP services while the mexTcpBinding exposes TCP services only. Or is this possible that I access stats service only from HTTP binding and the eventLogging service from TCP? For Example: For TCP I should only have net.tcp://localhost:9001/ABC/mex net.tcp://localhost:9001/ABC/eventLogging For HTTP http://localhost:9002/ABC/stats http://localhost:9002/ABC/mex When I connect with any of the base address (using the WCF Test Client) I'm able to access all the services? Like when I connect with net.tcp://localhost:9001/ABC I'm able to use the services which are offered on the HTTP binding. Why is that so? <system.serviceModel> <services> <service behaviorConfiguration="ABCServiceBehavior" name="ABC.Data.DataServiceWCF"> <endpoint address="eventLogging" binding="netTcpBinding" contract="ABC.Campaign.IEventLoggingService" /> <endpoint address="mex" binding="mexTcpBinding" bindingConfiguration="" contract="IMetadataExchange" /> <endpoint address="stats" binding="basicHttpBinding" contract="ABC.Data.IStatsService" /> <endpoint address="mex" binding="mexHttpBinding" contract="IMetadataExchange" /> <host> <baseAddresses> <add baseAddress="net.tcp://localhost:9001/ABC" /> <add baseAddress="http://localhost:9002/ABC" /> </baseAddresses> </host> </service> </services> <behaviors> <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name="ABCServiceBehavior"> <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="false" /> <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true" /> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> </behaviors> </system.serviceModel>

  • Windows Forms Host + System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Chart

    - by dark-elf2
    Good day all I have the following question: I would like to use Chart from Windows Forms due to the fact that it allows to build much more types of graphical visualisation that one from WPF Toolkit does. So, I am adding Chart control for Windows Forms as a child element into the WindowsFormsHost. But, when I run the application I and all my clients see only white area. Though, any other Windows Forms Control works great in Windows Forms Host. What is wrong with the Chart control? Here is the XAML code <Window x:Class="WpfApplication1.Window1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:wfi="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Forms.Integration;assembly=WindowsFormsIntegration" xmlns:wf="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Forms;assembly=System.Windows.Forms" xmlns:CHR="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting;assembly=System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization" Title="Window1" Height="300" Width="300"> <Grid> <wfi:WindowsFormsHost x:Name="mainFGrid" > <CHR:Chart x:Name="mainChart" /> </wfi:WindowsFormsHost> </Grid> </Window> Kind regards, Anatoliy Sova

  • LINQ To SQL ignore unique constraint exception and continue

    - by Martin
    I have a single table in a database called Users Users ------ ID (PK, Identity) Username (Unique Index) I have setup a unique index on the Username table to prevent duplicates. I am then enumerating through a collection and creating a new user in the database for each item. What I want to do is just insert a new user and ignore the exception if the unique key constraint is violated (as it's clearly a duplicate record in that case). This is to avoid having to craft where not exists kind of queries. First off, is this going to be any more efficient or should my insert code be checking for duplicates instead? I'm drawn more to the database having that logic as this prevents any other type of client from inserting duplicate data. My other issue is related to LINQ To SQL. I have the following code: public class TestRepo { DatabaseDataContext database = new DatabaseDataContext(); public void Add(string username) { database.Users.InsertOnSubmit(new User() { Username = username }); } public void Save() { database.SubmitChanges(); } } And then I iterate over a collection and insert new users, ignoring any exceptions: TestRepo repo = new TestRepo(); foreach (var name in new string[] { "Tim", "Bob", "John" }) { try { repo.Add(name); repo.Save(); } catch { } } The first time this is run, great I have three users in the table. If I remove the second one and run this code again, nothing is inserted. I expected the first insert to fail with the exception, the second to succeed (as I just removed that item from the DB) and the third to then fail. What seems to be happening is that once the SqlException is thrown (even though the loop continues to iterate) all of the next inserts fail - even when there isn't a row in the table that would cause a unique violation. Can anyone explain this? P.S. The only workaround I could find was to instantiate the repo each time before the insert, then it worked exactly as excepted - indicating that it's something to do with the LINQ To SQL DataContext. Thanks.

  • Android: Map Overlay Labels

    - by karnage
    I am building a MapView and I want my custom overlay items to display the name of the location they are marking when the user taps them, like the Android Maps app. I setup the onTap listener and the floating TextView to hold the location name. I still need to set it up so that it redraws the label when the user moves the map, etc. Anyway, I am wondering if I am reinventing the wheel here. Is there a built-in method I am unaware of? I would think that most implementations of MapView have labels. For reference, my implementation so far: in map xml: <LinearLayout android:id="@+id/mapBubbleWrap" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_alignParentTop="true"> <TextView android:id="@+id/mapBubble" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:visibility="gone" android:background="#ffffff" android:textColor="#ff0000"/> </LinearLayout> in my extended ItemizedOverlay: public boolean onTap(int index) { this.setFocus( mOverlays.get(index) ); return true; } in my Activity onFocus: public void onFocusChanged( ItemizedOverlay overlay, OverlayItem item ) { if( item != null) { mapBubble.setText(item.getTitle()); Point newPoint = mapView.getProjection().toPixels(item.getPoint(), null); mapBubbleWrap.setPadding(newPoint.x, newPoint.y-10, 0, 0); mapBubble.setVisibility(View.VISIBLE); } }

  • Access to DataTemplate Control of WPF Toolkit DataGridCell at Runtime, How?

    - by LukePet
    I have a DataGrid defined with WPF Toolkit. The CellEditingTemplate of this DataGrid is associated at runtime with a custom function that build a FrameworkElementFactory element. Now I have to access to control that is inserted inside DataTemplate of CellEditingTempleta, but I do not know how to do. On web I found a useful ListView Helper... public static class ListViewHelper { public static FrameworkElement GetElementFromCellTemplate(ListView listView, Int32 column, Int32 row, String name) { if (row >= listView.Items.Count || row < 0) { throw new ArgumentOutOfRangeException("row"); } GridView gridView = listView.View as GridView; if (gridView == null) { return null; } if (column >= gridView.Columns.Count || column < 0) { throw new ArgumentOutOfRangeException("column"); } ListViewItem item = listView.ItemContainerGenerator.ContainerFromItem(listView.Items[row]) as ListViewItem; if (item != null) { GridViewRowPresenter rowPresenter = GetFrameworkElementByName<GridViewRowPresenter>(item); if (rowPresenter != null) { ContentPresenter templatedParent = VisualTreeHelper.GetChild(rowPresenter, column) as ContentPresenter; DataTemplate dataTemplate = gridView.Columns[column].CellTemplate; if (dataTemplate != null && templatedParent != null) { return dataTemplate.FindName(name, templatedParent) as FrameworkElement; } } } return null; } private static T GetFrameworkElementByName<T>(FrameworkElement referenceElement) where T : FrameworkElement { FrameworkElement child = null; for (Int32 i = 0; i < VisualTreeHelper.GetChildrenCount(referenceElement); i++) { child = VisualTreeHelper.GetChild(referenceElement, i) as FrameworkElement; System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine(child); if (child != null && child.GetType() == typeof(T)) { break; } else if (child != null) { child = GetFrameworkElementByName<T>(child); if (child != null && child.GetType() == typeof(T)) { break; } } } return child as T; } } this code work with the ListView object but not with the DataGrid object. How can use something like this in DataGrid?

  • WPF ListView get GridViewColumn from control inside DataTemplate

    - by ragi
    Example: <ListView Name="lvAnyList" ItemsSource="{Binding}"> <ListView.View> <GridView> <GridViewColumn Header="xx" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding XX}" CellTemplate="{DynamicResource MyDataTemplate}"/> <GridViewColumn Header="yy"> <GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <TextBlock Text="{Binding YY}" /> </DataTemplate> </GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> </GridViewColumn> </GridView> </ListView.View> </ListView> If I access the TextBlock inside DataTemplate I will have access to information about the bound path. But I don't know how to find (starting from the TextBlock) its containing GridViewColumn (which is in the GridViewRowPresenter columns list) and compare it to the grid's GridViewColumn (from GridViewHeaderRowPresenter column list) to get the header's name. At the end I should have the pairs: xx-XX, yy-YY I can find a list of all TextBlocks inside ListView by using this: GridViewRowPresenter gvrp = ControlAux.GetVisualDescendants<GridViewRowPresenter>(element).FirstOrDefault(); IEnumerable<TextBlock> entb = GetVisualDescendants<TextBlock>(gvrp); I can find a list of all GridViewColumnHeaders: GridViewHeaderRowPresenter gvhrp = ControlAux.GetVisualDescendants<GridViewHeaderRowPresenter>(element).FirstOrDefault(); And I cannot find the connection between the TextBlocks and the GridViewColumns... I hope this is understandable.

  • Failed to set the initialPlaybackTime for a MPMoviePlayerController when recreating it in the second

    - by vicky
    Hi, everyone. It's really wired. When at the first time a MPMoviePlayerController (e.g., theMovie) is created, its initialPlaybackTime can be set successfully. But when theMoive is released and re-create a new MPMoviePlayerController, its intialPlaybackTime can not be set correctly, actually the movie always plays from the start. The code is as follows. -(void)initAndPlayMovie:(NSURL *)movieURL { MPMoviePlayerController *theMovie = [[MPMoviePlayerController alloc] initWithContentURL:movieURL]; // create a notification for moviePlaybackFinish [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self selector:@selector(moviePlayBackDidFinish:) name:MPMoviePlayerPlaybackDidFinishNotification object:theMovie]; theMovie.initialPlaybackTime = 15; [theMovie setScalingMode:MPMovieScalingModeAspectFill]; [theMovie play];} -(void) moviePlayBackDidFinish:(NSNotification*)notification { MPMoviePlayerController * theMovie = [notification object]; [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] removeObserver:self name:MPMoviePlayerPlaybackDidFinishNotification object:theMovie]; [theMovie release]; [self initAndPlayMovie:[self getMovieURL]]; } With the above code, when the viewcontroller did load and run initAndPlayMovie, the movie starts to play from 15 seconds, but when it plays finished or "Done" is pushed, a new theMovie is created and starts to play from 0 second. Does anybody know what happened with the initialPlaybackTime property of MPMoviePlayerController? And whenever you reload the viewController where the above code is (presentModalViewController from a parent viewcontroller), the movie can start from any playback time. I am really confused what's the difference of the MPMoviePlayerController registration methods between the viewcontroller load and the recreating it after release. Need your help! Thank you!
