• Inheriting a Base Form but Paste/Cut Commands Not Captured

  I created a base form that has a specific size and an icon as a base for all forms created in my project (to be consistent in looks). The problem is, for some reason if I add a Text box to the Child form, I can no longer execute shortcuts like Copy (CTRL+C) etc into the Textbox. What should I do to handle this OTHER THAN writing code to capture those on the KeyUp control? This is also the case for RichTextBox control as well. Thanks

  Hi, I've created reports in Adboe that have checkobxes and set then to required fields. But when i click the submit button all fields but the check boxes are validated. I.e If i dont complete the required textbox field the report will not submit, but when i do and the required checkbox fields are not checked it still submits. We are using struts .. html:text for a text box and value of this is prepopulated with a recent value (not with the initialized value) even when the member is logged in after logging out. The worst part is other members also able to see the value entered in the textbox by the recent member logged in. How do you stop this happening?

  Heya, I have just implemented the excellent jQuery UI autocomplete. http://jqueryui.com/demos/autocomplete/ There is a strange bug in IE 8 (and maybe other versions). When you select an item from the box of suggestions in IE 8 the cursor moves to the begining of the textbox before the suggested word which has just been inserted. Firefox put the cursor after the inserted word. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Regards Steve
