    I have a table with my products and I'm trying to write a page that would pull bracelets with certain colors from the database. So here's what I have right now (in php): $query = "SELECT * FROM products WHERE (products.colors LIKE '%black%')"; But I only want to select rows where the value for the column "category" equals "bracelet". I've tried a few different things, but I keep getting warnings and errors. I appreciate any help you can give, thank you!

    In my database I calculate distance between nodes with: SELECT DISTINCT dest.name, AsText(orig.location), AsText(dest.location), round((glength(linestringfromwkb(linestring((orig.location), (dest.location)))))) as distance FROM nodes orig, nodes dest WHERE orig.name='GERP' I would like to add "and distance < dest.visibility" at the end, but am told that distance is an unknown column. Any insight very much appreciated.

It's stored as <!--more--> in the database, but when you use the_content() this is automatically changed before I have the chance to use a str_replace() function. I'm looking to place an adsense tag for each post in the single.php page where the teaser ends. Has anyone been able to do this?

I thought nested transactions were ok (i was using sqlite for the prototype). How do i check if the connection is already in a transaction? I am using Microsoft SQL Server Database File.

    Hi In LINQ to SQL, you can override SubmitChanges and use the method this.GetChangeSet() to get all the inserts, updates and deletes so that you can make last minute changes before it is committed to the database. Can this be done in EF 4.0? I see there is a override for SaveChanges but I need to know the equivalent for GetChangeSet()
