    The new documentation on ProGuard for Android says to add a line to the default.properties file in the project home directory. However, on opening this file, I read at the top: # This file is automatically generated by Android Tools. # Do not modify this file -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE ERASED! Am I missing something? Also, is there a way to enable ProGuard only for a production build from Eclipse (i.e., when exporting the finished product)?

    Hi, i need to comunicate with a smartcard from an ASP.NET site. I've create a dll(using Winscard.dll and MCSCM.dll that is the SCM Micro Reader's dll) that work with the cardreader on windows but i'm not able to use it with ASP.NET. The project will run only on IE and i must avoid Javascript. Thank you for the help.

Now I wish to add files that exist in another folder on my machine... but I keep getting the following: fatal: pathspec 'Users/mic/OnePageCRMVC/MKTsite25-05/index.html' did not match any files However, the file definitely does exist...     I have to take over a project written in vb.net, which more than 400k lines of code written in option strict off mode. I want to build it under option strict on first before I do anything else -- which maybe converting it into C#. I found there's thousands of lines of code raises compilation error, mostly are about implicit type casts. Is there any tool would help to make it compile under option strict on mode if I don't want to correct every single line manually?

I want to be able to use the buildnumber task (Ant) which in my understanding when used, is supposed to change the value of build number property and increment it for next time. But it seems that I still get the build number from TeamCity. How can I use the build number from <buildnumber file="mybuild.number"/>?

    hi- i'm following the instructions on how to build a custom search provider for windows federated search: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd742956(v=VS.85) i'm returning local results of the form: File://C:\Users\user\file.txt however, when i perform a search, i get results that say: "This item was blocked because of your Internet security settings". how can i change my security settings so that federated search will allow my customer search provider to return local filesystem results? thanks.

    I'm looking for independent implementation of boost/tr1 shared_ptr, weak_ptr and enable_shared_from_this. I need: Boost independent very small implementation of these features. I need support of only modern compilers like GCC-4.x, MSVC-2008, Intel not things like MSVC6 or gcc-3.3 I need it to be licensed under non-copyleft LGPL compatible license like Boost/Mit/3-clause BSD. So I can include it in my library. Note - it is quite hard to extract shared_ptr from boost, at least BCP gives about 324 files...
