  • How to get more Feed items?

    How would I get the next page or more results for a feed? For example, when I go to Security Now feed page, there is no "next" link of any kind and the url parameter of "page=100" does nothing: http://leoville.tv/podcasts/sn.xml I get only 1 page of results of about 20 episodes. However my Google Reader can successfully retrieve episodes that are earlier than that.

    Hi I've seen a plugin for Vim called AutoClose (discovered from this post) which automatically adds the closing brace when typing '(', '{' etc. For example; when I type the following ( | is the cursor): int main(| I would like the closing ) to be inserted automatically for me: int main(|) Does anyone know of a similar feature for emacs - Google has failed me this time!

  • Play .WAV under Mono on Mac OS X (Snow Leopard)?

    The Mono 2.6 distribution contains System.Media.SoundPlayer, but attempts to play result in no sound (and no errors) on Mac OS X. All I can find with Google search is obscure references to ALSA. I posted to the Mono-OSX list, but there have been on replies there. I hope someone here has an answer. I think I need to tap into CoreAudio, but don't know how from Mono/C#.

    Hello, I've stumbled upon this flash map http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/nation/unemployment-by-county/ it looks like they used this map to construct the website. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:USA_Counties_with_FIPS_and_names.svg I am curious as to what people have done or any blogs that describe what can be done with flex and simple maps like this (not google maps style maps) but simple all-in-memory maps like this one.     I didn't find an explicit answer to this question in the WiX Documentation (or Google, for that matter). Of course I could just write the appropriate registry keys in HKCR, but it makes me feel dirty and I'd expect this to be a standard task which should have a nice default solution. For bonus points, I'd like to know how to make it "safe", i.e. don't overwrite existing registrations for the file type and remove the registration on uninstall only if it has been registered during installation and is unchanged.

    I just installed the Nfc Demo from google, but it doesn´t read the information from the Tag.- It just provides some fakeTag information. Has anybody an idea, where I can change the sample to read from the nfc Tag? Or has somebody a working nfc demo for the nexus?   • Why does Chrome not start correctly when using C# Process.Start?

    I'm able to start Chrome successfully using this C# code: Process.Start("chrome", "http://www.google.co.uk"); However, it does two things wrong: It does not navigate to the URL specified in arguments It does not re-use the existing Chrome window (it opens a new one) I've tried using ProcessStartInfo and setting UseShellExecute and LoadUserProfile just in case these did something, but this makes no difference. Any ideas?

    I am trying to download a page using Silverlight 4 (http://google.com/) from a different domain than where the app is hosted. I'm simply curious if this is possible in the browser. I know I can do it out of the browser, as I tried it already, but trying it in the browser gives a security exception (understandable). I'd like to know if this can even be done, and if so, how?
