• PHP upload filename

  I'd like to have my PHP script upload a file with a certain filename in a directory of my choosing. However, the catch is that I need it to exist there immediately upon upload so I can moniter it on my server. I don't want to use a PHP extension or something - this should be very easy to transfer to any PHP setup. So basically: Is there a way to guarantee that, from the very beginning of the file upload process, the file has a certain name and location on the server?

  I'm trying to output the title of a taxonomy page when viewing it... So like, if i was on a 'tag' page i would go: <?php if (is_tag()) {?> <h1><?php single_cat_title(); ?></h1> <?php } ?> But how would i achieve the same thing for if the user is viewing a specific taxonomy page? is_taxonomy() doesn't exist so i'm suck! :/

  I have just installed Visual Studio 2010. when I attempt to create a new project in c#, there is no option for a WPF application. There is for Visual Basic. The WPFApplicaton.zip flie does exist in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\ProjectTemplates\CSharp\Windows\1033 What could be wrong here?

  What is the best scala-like persistence framework available right now? Hibernate works, but it's not very scala-like. It insists on using annotations, no-arg constructors, doesn't work with anonymous class instances, doesn't work with scala collections, has an outdated string-based query model, etc. I'm looking for something that really fits Scala. Does it exist? Or do I have to make it?

  I'm trying to set meta tags using jQuery (please don't reply that this doesn't make sense since search engines blah-blah-blah... I am loading invoking 3rd party Javascript functions that examine these vales, such as Tweetmeme and Facebook). If I use: $('meta[name=some-name]').attr('content', 'some value'); it does work to set the value of an existing meta tag, but does not create a meta tag if such a named one does not exist. I'm not having trouble reading each file into a string (IO.read()), but I'm not finding any package that can generate a unified diff. Does one exist? Now I can embed this font and although the font is freely available in Windows we don’t have distribution rights for this font.   What if I want to do something with my formset other than immediately saving it?
