Is it correct?
If yes - where TortoiseSVN stores this setting?

We have a standalone java swing app, in which the user can print something that he drew, on a printer by giving its IP.
Now the requirement is that the app needs to remember the ip that was given the last time by this user.
What I could think of till now is (a brute one though) - keep a log file kind of storage on the client machine, and that everytime the app comes up it reads the last submitted one.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
Anyone have numbers on how many machines / % of internet uses have Google Native Client?
I'm curious about google NaCL as a platform: it seems to combine the best of the web (just a webpage, accessible on any machine) and desktop apps (OpenGL, C/C++ power). The only question is -- what percent of the world actually use it.
Anyone have data on this?
Thanks!
Can a post back to the user control be triggered from javascript (on the client side) without updatepanels?
What I am trying to achieve is this
Initially the page and the user control are loaded with default values
The parent pages makes a PageMethod request
When the data is available (from the PageMethod request), the user control has to be reloaded to update with the new values

Thanks.

Hi,
By looking at current Google wave APIs, I can't find a way to create an alternative client.
It's not a robot or gadget, and the embed API is very slim.
Nevertheless, I do see some clients out there - such as Waver and Waveboard.
How do they do it ? is it based on XMPP ?

I'd like to create a http-centric client for a restful web service created using CXF. To that end:
Does any one know the (maven)
dependencies for ONLY the CXF clients
(Proxy & HTTP)?
Is there any advantage to using CXF's built-in
clients over say, Apache HttpClient?

I'm using the chef-client::windows_service recipe and trying to set the interval and can't seem to sort it out.
I've tried at the role level with:
{
"defaults": {
"chef_client": {
"interval":15
}
},
"overrides":{
}
}
and at the node level with:
{
"chef_client": {
"interval":25
},
"tags":[]
}
but the interval on the node is still 1800 (default)

In an ASP.net MVC 2 app that I have I want to return a 204 No Content response to a post operation. Current my controller method has a void return type, but this sends back a response to the client as 200 OK with a Content-Length header set to 0. How can I make the response into a 204?
[HttpPost]
public void DoSomething(string param)
{
// do some operation with param
// now I wish to return a 204 no content response to the user
// instead of the 200 OK response
}
