  Is there any technique available in Java for intercepting messages (method calls) like the method_missing technique in Ruby?   I have an existing WebForms project to which I'm adding MVC pages. I created an MVC project and copied the project type guids. It works fine, but I can't get Visual Studio to display the "Add Controller" or "Add View" wizards on my controllers and views directories (they're not /Controllers and /Views, they're in /Foo/Controllers and /Foo/Views). Is it possible to enable the wizards?

  In C++0x, methods can be overloaded on whether or not the expression that denotes the object on which the method is called is an lvalue or an rvalue. If I return *this from a method called via an rvalue, do I need to explicitly move from *this or not? Foo Foo::method() && { return std::move(*this); // Is this move required or not? } Unfortunately, I can't simply test this on my compiler since g++ does not support this feature yet :(

  I have a table like so: mysql> show create table foo; CREATE TABLE foo ( network bigint NOT NULL, activeDate datetime NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00', ... ) In the domain object, FooVO the activeDate member is annotated as Temporal. If I don't set activeDate to a valid Date instance, a new record is inserted with NULLs. I want the default value to take effect if I don't set the activeDate member. Thanks.

  On Admin Edit Posts (edit.php), how can I filter for a Custom Taxonomy and see posts of ANY status, not just Published? For example, say I have a Custom Taxonomy "Color"... These queries find posts of ANY status: edit.php?category_name=foo edit.php?author=3 edit.php?tag=foo And this query works correctly: edit.php?color=red&post_status=draft But this query finds ONLY Published posts: edit.php?color=red

  I'm going to index a BDB with keys that look a lot like directory paths ('/foo/bar', '/foo/baz', etc, with levels of slashes generally < 10). Does anybody have any experience with using a Btree prefix comparison routine[1] for this? Are the savings worthwhile? Any references to experience papers on this subject? " Why to use: document.body.foo = 52; can result a memory leak -or in what conditions- so that I should use jQuery.data(document.body, 'foo', 52); Should I ALWAYS prefer .data() instead of using expandos in any case?   I can't see any way to build a Predicate that uses parenthesis to control logical order. Is there one? Say I want to do something like Predicate <= mumble and (foo or baz) A simple Predicates.and or a Predicates.or has no equivalent that says "foo or baz" and with mumble. Is this possible?
