    please tell that can we consume .net web services in php or not. if yes then please tell me how can we do it. i am to create a web service which takes values and save it in database also it will take values and reply some data as a standard xml format. i know how to create web service and how to use it in asp.net but don't know how to use/call it from php. thing is that i will not be writing code in php to consume but wants to know that do i need to take care of any special thing or need to do some extra code to make it available and use by php developers. i am to create web service in .net framework 2.0 Thanks

  • Rhino Mocks Partial Mock

    I am trying to test the logic from some existing classes. It is not possible to re-factor the classes at present as they are very complex and in production. What I want to do is create a mock object and test a method that internally calls another method that is very hard to mock. So I want to just set a behaviour for the secondary method call. But when I setup the behaviour for the method, the code of the method is invoked and fails. Am I missing something or is this just not possible to test without re-factoring the class?     Hi, I have a piece of code where I send a file content over tcp/ip channel. There are times when this connection hangs causing entire application to freeze. Is there a way for my main thread to spawn a worker thread and monitor that worker thread. If worker thread succeeds, well and good. If it hangs , the main thread could log error message and continue. How can I simulate in my test code that a worker thread is hanging. please let me know what could the code look like.
