  • Best dual band A/B/G/N wireless router/ap for Linux

    Hello, I am looking for the best A/B/G/N dual band (simultaneous) router or access point that can be flashed with community firmware like dd-wrt or openwrt. In the past I have used the WRT54G series from Linksys with great success as access points and bridges. The WRT610N looks nice but I'm not sure how well the community firmwares support it. I am open to any manufacturer and any input or experience would be appreciated.

  • Windows 7 Mobile Device center Xperia x1 problem

    Hello I recently installed Windows 7 on my computer and having trouble to sync it with my Xperia X1 mobile phone. I tried to install ActiveSync 4.5 but Microsoft told me to install Mobile Device Center instead. The problem is that the computer doesn't recognize the phone so no drivers is installed for it and that prevents the Mobile Device Center to find my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this?     Hello, I've read in http://redmine.lighttpd.net/projects/1/wiki/Docs%3AModProxyCore that sticky sessions are not currently implemented in lighttpd. I'd like to know if it is possible to have sticky sessions using lighttpd as a loadbalancer (Perhaps implementing the sticky sessions using fastcgi or applying some patch?) Thanks and bye!!

    Hi I have a bunch of files with spaces in the name, is there a way to mv them to new files without spaces in. For example I have the file Hello World.pdf I want to move it to Hello_World.pdf. Obviously for the one file I can use the mv command but I want to do it to all files in a folder. Thanks

    Hello, I'm running Apache on Ubuntu 9.10. I want Apache to ignore certain domains on my server, and let other HTTP servers make full use of them. I've used mod_proxy and other Apache modules to configure the proxy/redirect to certain ports but sometimes that's too much work or doesn't work properly. Example: Server 00.00.000.000 domain1.com:80 - Apache domain2.com:80 - Apache domain3.com:80 - Webrick domain4.com:80 - Jetty Is this possible?

    Hello, I have a fresh Server 2008 R2 installation that cannot load a basic HTML or ASP file. I can however load .jpg and .gif images, so I know the file paths are setup correctly.   • Low USB transfer speed

    Hello, I am using Windows Vista, my Motherboard is Intel D102GGC2 The transfer speed through USB is very slow on my PC, just 2-3 MBps... I also use Ubuntu 9.10, and surprisingly the USB transfer speed is as expected, ie 16-17 MBps. So everytime i have to transfer Huge files i have to reboot into Ubuntu. What might be the Problem ??? I checked the Intel website for the ubdated drivers for my mobo, but they dont support my mobo now. Thanks

    Hello, I'm looking for a nice way to add / remote ips (and possibly interact with an asset inventory system to track where ips are), start / stop processes, download logs, and all around genearal system admin duties from one place. It's okay if I require more than 1 program. That would still be better than having 50 million terminals open and trying to trace ip assignments etc on whiteboards.   • Why can't I create e-mails on CPanel ?

    Hello, I have a nasty problem creating e-mails on a cpanel account, the creation form doesn't work (clicking on the buttons does nothing) and the sourcecode of the page has a weird http://petlieutenants.com/css/article1.php in it... The quota for the account is normal, all the other accounts are working fine. What can possibly be causing this ? Thanks for your ideas !
