  • Stagger increments in C# NumericUpDown control

    Hi cloud of wisdom :-) I am facing some trouble trying to configure a particular configuration for a NumericUpDown control in c#. Basically, I have seen that I can set the Increment interval, but I would like to manage the Increment interval depending on which arrow is clicked (up or down). I have checked the events of the control, but I do not find an event for each arrow. Basically, I want to achieve a control where, at different values, the increment is different. from 0.00 to 5.00 increments of 0.01, from 5.00 to 20.00 increments of 0.04, and so on Is this possible ? Note: It would be useful also an historic value in the control for the last value when the valuechanged event is trigger. Does this exist? Thanks in advance for any comment or suggestion!!!

    Hello, I want to bind KeyDown event handler (when user presses Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V) on Telerik's GridView to RelayCommand object in my ViewModel. I know about this post http://blog.functionalfun.net/2008/09/hooking-up-commands-to-events-in-wpf.html But I'm still bit confused about implementation of my scenario. I just don't understand how it works. Could someone point out how should my scenario be implemented. Thank You very much!

  • How to retrieve email from GMail account using PHP?

    Hi, I'm trying to automatically retrieve some email from my GMail account for further parsing, but I can't get my head around on how to do that. I've searched the internets and it suggested that I use PHP's imap functions, like this: $server = '{imap.gmail.com:993/ssl}'; $connection = imap_open($server, '[email protected]', 'password'); But using that code, I get: Warning: imap_open() [function.imap-open]: Couldn't open stream {imap.gmail.com:993/ssl} Any idea what I am doing wrong? Any server setting that might be preventing me from making a connection to GMail (I'm using a shared service)? Is the address even right? Has anyone ever managed to do something like this? I've found tons of examples on how to send email via GMail, but very little of retrieving. Any help is much appreciated.

  • Override OnClose()

    I got this class class CWebBrowser2 : public CWnd And i want to override OnClose What i have done so far is in the header file I added void OnClose(); and in the .cpp file i added void CWebBrowser2::OnClose () { int i=0; i++; } But the OnClose is never called. Then I tried to to modify the header file to afx_msg void OnClose(); DECLARE_MESSAGE_MAP() And added this to the .cpp file BEGIN_MESSAGE_MAP(CWebBrowser2, CWnd) //{{AFX_MSG_MAP(CBrowserDlg) ON_WM_CLOSE() //}}AFX_MSG_MAP END_MESSAGE_MAP() But still OnClose is never called. I have tried to Change to OnClose to OnDestroy but that isnt called either. any ideas on what Im doing wrong?

  • Localization not working

    I have an application that is supposed to be localized (two languages, english being the default). However, I seem to only get the English versions of all strings, regardless of what the system default language is. I am probably missing something trivial, but I've read several tutorials now without any solution. I added this line to main(), NSLog(@"Current locale is: %@", [[NSLocale currentLocale] localeIdentifier]); and the resulting printout is en_US, while the system was set to use the localized language. I checked the build output, and the app bundle contains the XX.lproj folders as I believe they should (and they are UTF-16, I confirmed this). What am I missing?

  • Advice using leaks in instruments for noobs

    Hello I am pretty new to iphone development. I have run my app for the first time using the "Leaks" from "Instruments". It shows me several leaks around 20 the smallest is 32 bytes and there is one with 1KB. I have followed the memory management guidelines, (i (think i) understand how and when to use release, not to use it when adding to autorelease pools, for every copy, retain, init there should be a release,... etc). I don't think I understand the output of the Leaks in instruments. What does "Responsible library" and "Responsible frame" mean. Because there are some classes and methods i never used directly. Are there any good tutorials for debugging memory leaks in instruments or other advice you can give me regarding leaks. Thanks in advance. Here are the largest 2 leaks. Leaked Object # Address Size Responsible Library Responsible Frame Malloc 1.00 KB 0x4827400 1024 CFNetwork std::vector *, std::allocator * ::reserve(unsigned long) // i have no idea what this is. Leaked Object # Address Size Responsible Library Responsible Frame Malloc 128 Bytes 5 640 UIKit UIImagePickerLoadPhotoLibraryIfNecessary // so this means UIImagePicker is leaking memory? The first leak i get Leaked Object # Address Size Responsible Library Responsible Frame Malloc 128 Bytes 0x442dfd0 128 UIKit UIKeyboardInputManagerClassForInputMode I don't understand any of those.

But I check the operation on obj in function myFunction can not affect temObj where I call myFunction. Welcome any comment Thanks

  • Can I rebuild degraded RAID1 on a SAS 5 i controller with a larger mirror drive size?

    Hi, A drive failed on a Dell SAS 5i controller - see controller bios screengrab: http://imagebin.ca/view/SkZbszA.html The primary is a 160GB 10k sata drive. I added a 250GB 7k rpm drive in the hope that the array would rebuild onto this drive. This did not happen. (assuming that the controller would just operate at the speed of the slowest drive) The controller could see the new drive, but it didn't automatically rebuild the raid1 onto this drive. (my assumption is that it did not do this rebuild as the drive sizes are different). There was an option to add the new drive to the existing raid1 array - but when I tried this a message appeared stating that all data on the array would be lost. (I didn't get a screenshot of this message, I will later) Should the SAS 5i allow me to rebuild the array onto a larger drive? Is the option to add the drive to the array the right way to go? Many thanks!

  • how can i set mTextView to show on button click

    i have a UITextView object which i have created in interface builder with it's hidden property unmarked.Now i want this textView to be invisible when my application launches and first view appears.Further i want it to be displayed when a particular method is called.Now this is what i have written in view did load [mTextView setHidden:YES]; self.mTextView=[[UITextView alloc] init]; it hides the textView ats the first view appears but when my desired method is called and i write [mTextView setHidden:NO]; it does not show it again.. Is it like we cant change the appearance of a textView once it is assigned because after assigning memory as self.mTextView=[[UITextView alloc] init]; and then writing [mTextView setHidden:YES]; it does not hide textView in viwDidLoad either.....

    From the SEO standpoint it is nice to see urls in format which explains what is located on a page Let's have a look on such situation (it is just example) We need to display page about some user and decided to have such url template for that page: /user/{UserId}/{UserCountry}/{UserLogin}. And create for this purpose such model public class UserUrlInfo{ public int UserId{get;set;} public string UserCountry{get;set;} public string UserLogin{get;set;} } I want to create controller method where I pass UserUrlInfo object but not all required fields. Classic controller method for url template shown above is following public ActionResult Index(int UserId, string UserCountry, string UserLogin){ return View(); } and we need to call it like that Html.ActionLink<UserController>(x=>Index(user.UserId, user.UserCountry, user.UserLogin), "See user page") I want to create such controller method public ActionResult Index(UserUrlInfo userInfo){ return View(); } and call it like that: Html.ActionLink<UserController>(x=>Index(user), "See user page") Actually I works when we add one more route and point it to the same controller method, so routing will be: /user/{userInfo} /user/{UserId}/{UserCountry}/{UserLogin} In this situation routing engine gets string method of our model (need to override it) and it works ALMOST always. But sometimes it fails and show url like /page/?userInfo=/US/John So my workaround does not always work properly. Does anybody know how to work with urls in such way?

  • Cannot find System.Web.Script.Service namespace error after upgrading to Visual studio 2010

    I've just upgraded a VS 2008 project to VS 2010, converting the project but keeping the target as .NET 3.5 (SP1 is installed). My project worked without issue under VS 2008 on another machine. I've added references to System.Web.Extensions.dll but I'm still getting the following errors from code in the App_Code folder: 1) Cannot find System.Web.Script.Service namespace 2) Type 'System.Web.Script.Services.ScriptService' is not defined. 3) Type 'System.Runtime.Serialization.Json.DataContractJsonSerializer' is not defined. Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be as I'm pretty stumped? :(

  • Configuring the GPS Intermediate Driver

    Hello, I have a Motorola MC75 with an integrated GPS system that I am trying to use for programming. I have done some research on it and tried setting it up by editing the remote registry of the device according to some specifications that I found on the internet on this blog, http://csharponphone.blogspot.com/2007/07/configuring-gps-intermediate-driver.html. I used the smart phone guide at the bottom of the page but to no avail. Currently, I am trying to test it with the GPS application provided in the Windows Mobile 6 SDK samples. The program will load and begin what looks like the search for satellites but will not locate anything. I do not think the GPS is set up correctly. Does anyone have any helpful insight onto this issue or a guide for configuring the GPSID? Thank you in advance. Also, I have already checked and tried some of the config help on MSDN which does not help me either. I will surely vote for the most helpful answer. Thanks, Zach
